Are you compassionate, adaptable, and eager to make a genuine difference in mental health care? We are looking for three dedicated Healthcare Support Workers to join our welcoming team on Cherrywood Ward in Dartford.
Cherrywood Ward is a busy, all-female Acute Admissions and Assessment unit. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team (MDT), you will work alongside nurses, doctors, and specialists to deliver high-quality, person-centred care under their guidance. Monitoring & Observation: Perform therapeutic observations as directed, keeping a close eye on patient behaviour, wellbeing, and potential risks, and reporting any changes to the Nurse in Charge promptly.
-
Accurate Record-Keeping: Maintain clear, timely, and confidential clinical documentation regarding the care delivered, as well as any care omissions or progress updates.
-
Promoting Safety & Standards: Maintain a safe, healthy, and secure environment by strictly adhering to Trust policies, infection control guidelines, and health and safety standards.
-
Team Collaboration & Mentoring: Work flexibly across a 7-day pattern to support team priorities, while welcoming and helping onboard new team members.
-
Professional Development: Complete and maintain all essential training required for the role, consistently upholding the highest professional standards and Trust values.
