Are you a compassionate and motivated Registered Nurse looking to make a real difference every day? We are excited to offer an opportunity for a Band 5 Staff Nurse to join our friendly and supportive ward team.
In this role, you will deliver high-quality, person-centred care in a fast-paced and rewarding environment, working alongside a dedicated multidisciplinary team. As a Staff Nurse, you will play a key role in delivering safe, effective and compassionate care to patients, ensuring their individual needs are always at the centre of your practice. You will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care, responding to changes in patients' conditions and making sound clinical decisions, escalating concerns where appropriate.
You will work closely with patients, families and carers, providing clear communication, reassurance and education, while collaborating with the wider multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated and seamless care. The role also involves administering medications safely, maintaining accurate and timely documentation, and contributing to safe discharge planning.
In addition, you will support and mentor junior colleagues and students, helping to foster a positive and inclusive team environment. You will be encouraged to take part in audit, research and quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the ongoing development of services and ensuring care is delivered in line with best practice. There will also be opportunities to take on responsibility for coordinating the ward and acting as nurse in charge, with appropriate support.
