Job summary
Woodlands Hospital is looking for an, enthusiastic, dynamic, and passionate Band 5 Nurse to join our team
Hazelwood Ward is a mixed sex ward with predominately service users with functional illnesses.
Hazelwood is based in Woodlands Hospital In Little Hulton with x 2 further wards Holly & Delamere .
Professional development, whether a preceptee or not, is a key priority here on Woodlands; the postholder would engage in an appraisal to identify areas of interest and development and be supported with further training whenever possible.

Main duties of the job
The postholders would be an integral part of our multi-disciplinary team providing care to our service users and being a key contact for our relatives and carers. Daily tasks would include attending and leading handovers, medicines management, care planning, risk assessing, attending and contributing to board rounds and multi-disciplinary team meetings, and supporting junior staff members on shift.
