About You
- Degree or Diploma Level Education as Registered Nurse or ODP(RN Child / RSCN)
- Current registration with NMC/HCPC
- Highly motivated, newly qualified welcome as well as experienced Band 5 Theatre Practitioners in Scrub and/or Anaesthetic areas, (rotation between the two areas for ODPs)

Main duties of the job
Reporting into the Team leader in theatre and to a Clinical lead, some of your responsibilities will include:
- You will be expected to work within a self-contained theatre team on a daily basis.
- Utilise clinical and risk assessment skills to maintain a safe environment.
- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate the care plans for children/young people and their familiespresenting for care within the framework of the nursing/theatre team.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary colleagues to ensure smooth patient pathways and optimal surgical outcomes.
