Important Eligibility Information
NHS England Two-Year Funding Rule
Applicants should be aware that individuals who commence an NHS England-funded course listed on the NHS England Psychological Professions Training Programmes webpage will normally be required to wait two years from their qualifying exam board date before commencing another NHS England-funded training programme.
Recent graduates of NHS England-funded programmes may therefore not be eligible to commence the CYP-PT programme.
Applicants should also consider the impact of this rule on future training opportunities. For example, trainees commencing this programme in January 2027 would typically qualify in April 2028 and would not normally be eligible to begin another NHS England-funded programme until two years after this date.
For further guidance, please review the NHS England funding information (NHS funding for psychological professions training programmes | NHS England | Workforce, training and education) and course guidance documents before applying
