Job summary
The Head of Education for Non-Medical (HOE-NM) is responsible for the provision of strong, visible professional leadership across the Trust, who fosters a culture of continuous improvement, compassion and excellence in all aspects of the delivery of patient care.
On behalf of the Deputy Chief Nurse/Chief Nurse, the HoE-NM will work across all the non-medical professions, mainly focusing on the nursing workforce group, however crossing over with Midwifery and AHP workforce leads, with the overarching corporate responsibility for the entire non-medical registered professional groups educational funding and provision.
Main duties of the job
The role will provide input into the Trust and the regional system and national plans on education provision clearly defining interdependencies to workforce provision and planning, with an aim to address workforce shortfall and build a sustainable future supply.
