An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Team Administrator to join our Croydon Assessment & Liaison Team for the Croydon Directorate South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust. Working closely with nursing staff and the Admin Lead
Main duties of the job
The successful applicant will have robust organisational, communication and interpersonal skills and will also be able to demonstrate a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes including Outlook, Word and Excel. The post holder will be comfortable with IT and be keen to learn new software packages and processes.

Job responsibilities
The role will include managing the teams referrals, supervision of at least one band 3 administrator, supporting the team leader, admin lead clinical team. You must have the ability to work under pressure and to meet targets. Contact with patients will be largely by phone and letter. The post-holder will be required to attend regular administration team meetings as well as relevant clinical meetings and take the minutes. - Good standard of general education including English and Mathematics achieving grades A-C

- Previous demonstrable administrative experience supporting senior staff in a complex organisation
- Previous demonstrable experience of working to tight deadlines
- Previous experience of handling confidential information
- Previous demonstrable experience of developing and implementing administrative systems
- Previous demonstrable experience of effectively collecting and presenting complex data/information
Desirable
- Experience of working in an NHS environment, in a framework of confidentiality, ideally in a community mental health team setting
