An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Occupational Therapist to join the ADAPT Service within Bromley West Locality. Main duties of the job
- Manage a specialist occupational therapy caseload of service users with complex mental health needs.
- Deliver occupational therapy assessments and interventions through both individual and group work.
- Support service users to maximise independence, recovery and participation in meaningful activities.
- Work collaboratively as a member of the multidisciplinary team to provide coordinated care.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of the ADAPT occupational therapy pathway and borough-wide group programme.
- Provide specialist occupational therapy advice and consultation to colleagues and partner agencies.
- Supervise support workers and occupational therapy students on placement.
- Undertake risk assessments and contribute to risk management plans.

Main duties of the job
As a Specialist Healthcare Science Practitioner or Clinical Scientist, you'll be developing and utilising specialist skills and knowledge within Paediatric Audiology. The post-holder will have demonstrable knowledge and experience within Paediatric audiology, and be keen to develop this further, supported by clinical supervision and CPD activities.
The role will include clinical supervision responsibilities and will offer opportunities to develop and lead on innovative projects within the team. The successful candidate will also be supported to develop their leadership skills through further training and professional development.

We are looking for an Occupational Therapist who is passionate about Neurology and Stroke treatment and ready to put their ideas into action with the dynamic current team at Wycombe hospital to Rotate on Hyperacute and Acute Stroke units, Bucks Neuro rehab unit and Early Supported Discharge team.
There maybe a permanent post after this time.
The permanent post is 8 month Neurology rotations through the:
- Stroke team at Wycombe Hospital on Hyperacute and Acute Stroke units
- Buckinghamshire Neuro Rehabilitation and Wheelchair service at Amersham Hospital
- Early Supported Stroke team in the Buckinghamshire community
- Urology, Cardiology and Day assessment rotation at Wycombe hospital to maintain medical skills.
The Occupational Therapy Neurology team provides high quality stroke, medical assessment and acute rehabilitation with a Clinical specialist 8a Occupational Therapists, Band 7 Advanced Occupational Therapists, Band 6 Seniors, Band 5s, assistants and rehab engineers and has gained an A rated SSNAP score consistently for high quality!
You will work in our multidisciplinary team including Physiotherapists, Psychologists, Nurses and Speech and Language Therapists, setting goals, discharge plans, group work, home visits and liaising with other professionals and carers.
This is a very friendly, supportive and dynamic team with regular integrated individual supervision, appraisal, CPD, use of outcome measures and in service training.

- To participate within complex rehabilitation and contribute to its function.
- To undertake assessments of patients with complex and diverse presentations.
- To undertake advanced, comprehensive, and where applicable, standardised assessments within the specialised clinical areas.

Band 2 Occupational Therapy Assistant (Elderly Care)
Exciting opportunity to join a compassionate and aspirational Therapy Team at the Royal Berkshire Hospital.
The role will entail supporting older people who are admitted in to an acute hospital to regain function and independence. A big part of the role involves supporting to get patients home safely.
The successful candidate will work with qualified Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and other member of the multidisciplinary teams to deliver a high quality service for patients.
In this role you will work in line with the trust's CARE values to deliver person-centred care to ensure the best outcomes for patients in our care.
You will work with the Occupational Therapy team to assess and treat patients. You will work with the MDT and community partner organisations to ensure patients receive the right care, in the right place, at the right time whenever possible.
Main duties of the job
- Face-to-face contact with patients, completing 'initial interviews' and information gathering with patients, their next of kin and other organisations such as social services.
- Delivering Occupational Therapy, working with the guidance of an Occupational Therapist to rehabilitate patients through practicing and supporting activities of daily living such as, washing and dressing, meal preparation, transfers.
- Supporting the completion of home visits with patients along side a qualified therapist.
- Liaison with internal teams to promote smooth transition for patient from hospital to community.

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Band 7 Lead Pharmacy Technician to provide professional and operational leadership across the Lincolnshire cluster of secure services. This role covers HMP Lincoln, HMP Morton Hall, HMP North Sea Camp and Swinderby IRC and plays a key part in delivering safe, effective and high-quality pharmaceutical services.
You will provide specialist technical expertise in medicines management, controlled drugs governance and clinical governance, working closely with senior managers, clinicians and external partners to ensure compliance with legislation, CQC standards and best practice.

Main duties of the job

This post is offered on a permanent and full-time basis, and will cover three acute adult mental health wards, two male and one female ward. You will join a welcoming multi-disciplinary team in the provision of compassionate, trauma informed care to individuals in need of acute mental health care.

Main duties of the job
The post offers applicants an opportunity for direct and indirect work. The post holder will work under the supervision of an experienced Qualified Applied Psychologist in supporting the co-creation of MDT formulations and further assessment where needed to inform care and intervention planning. The post holders will be involved in supporting the provision of psychologically informed care and psychological interventions through direct and indirect clinical activities. This will include attendance at multidisciplinary meetings, contribution to psychological assessment and formulation, developing behaviour support plans, low grade psychological interventions, groups and evaluation of outcomes.
There will also be opportunities for audit and service evaluation, as well as protected time for professional development. Opportunities are available to connect with other Assistant Psychologists within Adult Mental Health services across the Trust.

Are you a newly qualified Physiotherapist looking to start your career in a supportive and varied clinical environment? We have exciting opportunities to join our Rotational Physiotherapy team at Southmead Hospital.
Our six-month rotations offer the opportunity to gain experience across a wide range of specialities, including Outpatients, Trauma & Orthopaedics, Older Persons Medicine, Specialist Medicine, Stroke, Neurosciences, Intensive Care, Respiratory Medicine, Vascular and Surgical services.
Southmead Hospital is a Major Trauma Centre with a 48-bedded Intensive Care Unit, providing an excellent environment to develop your clinical skills and experience.
We are committed to supporting your development. You will have access to senior physiotherapy support, structured training, regular Band 5 peer meetings, in-service training and continuing professional development. Newly qualified Physiotherapists will also benefit from our preceptorship programme.
Weekend working is currently on a 1:4 basis, with an associated non-working day. Once appropriately trained, there is an expectation to participate in the physiotherapy on-call rota. Elective Orthopaedics also operates an extended Mon-Fri service 8am and 8pm.
We particularly encourage applications from newly qualified Physiotherapists and those who qualified within the previous year.

Main duties of the job
As a Rotational Physiotherapist, you will work as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team, developing your clinical skills and confidence across a range of specialities.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Assessing, treating and managing your own patient caseload, with support and supervision from senior physiotherapists.
- Rotating through different clinical areas, with clear learning objectives to help you consolidate and build on your graduate skills and academic knowledge.
- Planning and prioritising your workload effectively and communicating with patients, colleagues and the wider multidisciplinary team.
- Developing your clinical reasoning, assessment and treatment skills across a broad range of patient groups.
- Working collaboratively to provide safe, effective and person-centred care.
- Supporting and, where appropriate, supervising Technical Instructors and Physiotherapy Students.
- Participating in shift, weekend and bank holiday working.
- Participating in the 24/7 respiratory on-call rota once appropriately trained.
