Job summary
Our Medical Wards at St Peter's Hospital in Surrey are looking to recruit, compassionate, motivated and skilled Band 4 Nursing Associates to join the Medical Division.
We are seeking NMC registered Nursing Associates that are ready to work as part of the nursing and multidisciplinary team to provide high quality care for patients presenting with all kinds of medical needs.
We have opportunities across several wards including general medicine, respiratory, cardiology and elderly care.
You will practice under indirect supervision in all areas of the medical wards reflecting the values and principles of teamwork such as proper communication and escalation as a team member.
Following a period of development and assessment, you will contribute to the assessment, planning and implementation of individual care for assigned patients under agreed pathways ensuring safe practice and maintaining high standards of care.

Main duties of the job
To implement and monitor patient care following nursing care plans and patient pathways, and reporting progress to registered practitioner/s. To ensure a welcoming, caring and safe environment of patients and visitors to the department. Carrying out regular observations, proper documentation, identification of a deteriorating patient and following escalation procedures as identified in the patient pathways. Initiate basic life support for a collapsed patient until medical help arrives.
Assist with safe transfers of patients within the wards and other departments. Perform hospital transfer and handover of patient care for agreed patients. Provide clinical skills such as recording of 12 lead ECG, insertion of peripheral cannulation and venepuncture, female and male urinary catheterisation, minor wound dressings and oral medications

Maintain up-to-date, comprehensive and accurate records of clinical care, the patients condition and other relevant information in accordance with the NMC Standards for Record Keeping
Be aware, active and follow protocol for all types of internal and external major incidents including flu pandemic.

To report any complaints, accidents, untoward incidents or unusual occurrences to the Head of Nursing and ensure that, where possible, remedial action is taken to prevent the occurrence/reoccurrence of such incidents, and to complete and incident form/DATIX where appropriate. In conjunction with the Ward Sister/Charge Nurse and Head of Nursing/Matrons, participate in the planning and implementation of quality and risk management initiatives and targets, including CNST, RPST and Controls Assurance. Assist in maintaining evidence-based quality standards that are regularly audited, and participate in agreed changes in practice.
In conjunction with the Ward Sisters/Charge Nurse and the Practice Development team, participate in agreed programmes of clinical benchmarking.
Support and supervise junior staff in a way that promotes patient safety and well-being.
Assist the Ward Sisters/Charge Nurses and their deputies in the orientation and induction of new staff. Ensure appropriate paperwork is completed and processed. Support the Ward Sisters/Charge Nurse in ensuring that staff acquire the appropriate clinical competencies to deliver safe and effective patient care.
Actively participate in the Trusts professional supervision programme as a supervisor and as a supervisee. Understand and be aware of when and how to report untoward incidents, accidents, concerns or near misses and how to deal effectively with patients or relatives complaints
You are expected to work within the boundaries of medication administration as per Trust guidelines. You are not allowed to receiving patient directly from the ambulance service as they require triage by a registered nurse. To report immediately to the shift leader/nurse in charge, any identification of a safeguarding issue and/or any identification of a high risk patient. You are not to be left under supervised in any area of the emergency department.

Main duties of the job
We are looking for HCPC Registered Podiatrists with post graduate experience with a high degree of motivation and clinical skills, you will need a flexible approach to service provision with the ability to work as part of a team as well as individually. The successful candidate will be required to have excellent diagnostic and clinical skills to deliver a range of podiatry treatments including wound care, at risk and biomechanical interventions for patients in Bromley.Although predominantly based in a clinical setting, the role is across the Bromley Healthcare area with a small domiciliary caseload. Patient Caterer
An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Patient Services Department which is within the facilities division.
Catering duties will be to provide a high standard of food and drink service to ward areas within Chesterfield Royal Hospital and Derwent Unit. - Liaising with the nurse in charge in the Emergency Departments to ensure that beds are allocated to patients in a timely manner and in accordance with current national and local standards. Ensure that there is clear, effective communication with the senior doctors and nurses and that the Emergency Department are informed during times of bed shortages or increased waiting times and follow established escalation policies.
- To provide effective professional leadership, clinical and operational support and advice to all departments/wards.

A bespoke training passport is in place for Humber Centre staff, including a Forensic Induction, Trauma-Informed Care training, a structured buddy system, and a protected supernumerary period to support your transition.
Staff wellbeing is a key priority, with established support systems including regular clinical and managerial supervision, weekly reflective practice, and team debriefs following shifts, promoting a positive and supportive working environment.
In this role, you will deliver high standards of evidence-based, person-centred care to individuals with complex mental health needs within a low secure forensic setting. You will support the day-to-day coordination of the ward, including acting in a leadership capacity in the absence of the Ward Manager.
You will act as a named nurse, coordinating care planning, risk assessment, and reviews in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team. The role includes promoting a safe, therapeutic, and recovery-focused environment, supporting rehabilitation and reintegration into the community.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for Registered Nurses to join the newly formed Durban ward located at Clacton and District Community Hospital. Durban ward is a 26 bedded unit which will provide Community step up and step down to patients who have a North East Essex GP.
Community Hospital wards within North East Essex provide care for patients who do not require acute nursing intervention and whose needs cannot be met at home. They also provide palliative or end of life care, recovery from acute illness, rehabilitation and IVABs.
Durban ward is planned to open during November 2026 to help support flow during seasonal pressures. Due to the trusts ambition to support a "home first" approach, Durban ward has potential to transition after the winter period to a Same Day Assessment Unit, providing rapid assessment, diagnostics, and treatment forappropriate patients, reducing avoidable admissionstothe Colchesteracute site.

Main duties of the job
Department, contributing to coding accuracy, data assurance, and quality improvement across the Trust. Reporting to the Clinical Coding Audit & Data Quality Lead, the post holder will:
- Undertake re-coding of selected inpatient and day-case episodes, including complex cases, against ICD-10 and OPCS-4 national standards
