Job summary

- Under the direction of the Chief Pharmacist, Deputy Chief Pharmacist and the Senior Pharmacy Technicians, the post holder will perform whatever duties are reasonable and necessary to achieve the job purpose and overall safe provision of pharmacy services throughout the trust.
- There is a requirement to be confident and able to work with service users and other healthcare professionals internally and other organisations.
- The following represent a broad outline of tasks the post holder will be expected to perform in achieving their key result areas. This is not intended as a fixed list of duties.
- Provide support to the technical services of the department.
- Participate in continuous personal and professional development.
- Must hold a level 2 NVQ in Pharmacy Services
Main duties of the job
To participate in the provision of dispensing services across the Trust.
To participate in the non-clinical aspects of their work, e.g., stock
unpacking and checking, assembly of orders/requisitions, top-ups etc.
To support the clerical functions of the department in activities such as
ordering, filing, data input and retrieval, and other general tasks.
To undertake other non-clinical tasks as required.
To undertake supporting with the administration duties within the
department and other colleagues.

We are seeking a Specialist Pharmacist to work clinically within designated teams in inpatient and community mental health settings, acting as an expert source of pharmaceutical advice promoting safe, cost effective and evidence-based prescribing and medicines use. In addition to the focus above, as part of the SHPU pharmacy team you will also work to provide specialist mental health pharmaceutical support to across the trust to help achieve best outcomes with medicines. There will be a requirement to undertake on call support out of hours.
You will need to have excellent communication skills and enjoy working as part of a multi-disciplinary team. You will need to be friendly, approachable, adaptable, flexible, willing to learn new skills and be committed to continuous professional development.
Main duties of the job
As part of the pharmacy service, to ensure the safe and effective use of medicines throughout the Trust
- To support the use of medicines across the Trust to achieve best outcomes for service users in accordance with best practice.
- To apply clinical skills and expertise in the management of medicines in mental health in accordance with best practice.
- To prevent and reduce medicines related harm.
- To provide a high level of clinical pharmacy services to allocated teams.
- To undertake medications reviews and provide advice on medicines optimisation.
- Competently use electronic based notes and prescribing systems.
- Participate in systems to ensure continuous personal professional development, including any agreed post-registration qualifications. Work towards membership of the College of Mental Health Pharmacy (or equivalent).
- Participate in departmental systems of clinical supervision and peer support.
- Responsible for the day to day running of clinical trials service, including pharmacy trial specific procedures.
- To work flexibly and travel to various locations across the city.

- Develop and maintain relationships within designated multidisciplinary team(s) in order to ensure service users care plans, reflect the best use of pharmacological treatments.
- Support the delivery of clinical pharmacy services to other areas of the Trust.
- Promote the safe use of medication throughout the Trust and wider health community.
- Provide advice to service users and where relevant, carers on the best use of their medicines. Work with individual service users, carers or groups or to help achieve best outcomes from pharmacological treatments.
- Advise medical, nursing and other staff on medicine related problems and medicines optimisation.
- Perform specialist mental health medication reviews, reviewing and advising on the management of service users receiving complex pharmacological treatments or not responding to existing treatments. Where appropriate collaborate with other health care providers to ensure that physical health considerations are encompassed.
- Participate in SHSC drug information systems and provide expert advice on medication related queries to healthcare professionals, patients and carers.
- Deputise for the senior pharmacists when necessary.
- Responsibility for clinical and other checks within the dispensary, and to act as Responsible Pharmacist. Advise of the legal aspects of prescribing and the clarity and accuracy of prescriptions
- Responsibility to act as a pharmacist for the purposes of the 2012 Human Medicines Regulations and other statutory instruments

Central and West Warrington Primary Care Network (CWW PCN) is seeking to recruit a Lead Practice Pharmacist to develop and support medicines optimisation across our seven GP practices.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated primary care pharmacist to join an established, forward-thinking PCN team. Our pharmacy team includes Clinical Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians and a Care Coordinator, supported by a Senior Pharmacist, PCN Clinical Director, and the wider PCN team.
The post will be directly employed by a core practice but will work collaboratively across multiple practices within CWW PCN to support delivery of the Primary Care Network DES and local practice priorities.
We are keen to hear from pharmacists with experience in primary care, who have completed the CPPE Primary Care Pharmacy Education Pathway and Independent prescriber (IP) qualification.
Main duties of the job
The Lead Practice Pharmacist will be committed to improving health outcomes and putting patients first. Key qualities include the ability to build effective relationships with patients, GPs, nurses, community pharmacists, hospital teams, and practice staff, alongside alongside the ability to lead and work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Main duties of the job
In this role, you will play a key part in patient recovery, supporting the assessment and delivery of tailored treatment plans while ensuring dignity, respect, and high standards of care.
- Completing dietary and nutritional assessments and developing personalised plans to support the physical wellbeing of our patients.
- Planning, monitoring and reviewing nutritional interventions to ensure they continue to meet patients individual needs.
- Managing an assigned caseload, working closely with colleagues across the multidisciplinary team.

We are looking for someone who has:
- Experience working with children and young people.

- Knowledge of safeguarding, risk assessment and child development.

- Excellent communication, engagement and relationship building skills.
- The ability to manage a varied caseload and maintain accurate records.

A qualification in youth work, social work, psychology, counselling, mental health, substance use, or a related field is essential.

About the role
Atrom Mindcare is seeking an experienced, resilient and highly delivery-focused Head of Admin and Operations to lead the administrative delivery of our NHS Right to Choose and privately funded patient services.
This is a senior, hands-on operational role for someone who understands how busy administrative services work in practice. You will lead the teams supporting NHS and private patients, maintain control of competing priorities, identify problems quickly and ensure actions are followed through to completion.
The role requires strong analytical and administrative capability, sound judgement and the ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure. You will set clear expectations, hold teams accountable and intervene directly when standards, deadlines or patient service are at risk.
Main duties of the job
Key responsibilities
- Lead, support and coordinate administrative, referral, pathway coordination and patient liaison teams across NHS and private services.
- Oversee daily workflows, rotas, workload allocation, backlogs, capacity and operational priorities.
- Ensure appropriate cover across referrals, private enquiries, appointment booking, patient communications, documentation and report workflows.
- Oversee the end-to-end administration of NHS Right to Choose and privately funded patient pathways.
- Ensure referrals and private enquiries are recorded, checked and progressed accurately and promptly.
- Coordinate appointments against clinician availability, pathway requirements and service priorities.
- Ensure private patients receive clear information about services, fees, appointments, payments and next steps.
- Run regular team meetings and conduct one-to-ones, supervision and performance reviews.
- Set clear standards, address performance issues and provide coaching, feedback and development support.
- Act as the main point of escalation for administrative queries, complex patient issues and capacity concerns.
- Ensure administrative activity complies with SOPs, NHS contract requirements, CQC expectations, data protection and information governance standards.
