Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and reliable individual to join and support our theatre teams in Ealing hospital. You will perform supportive roles alongside experts in the field in a busy but friendly environment using advance technology to care and serve our patients in different surgical specialties. Theatre experience will be an advantage, but in-housing training and education will be provided for suitable candidates to fulfill the role. You will also participate as part of the team to support the out of hours, weekend and night time emergency surgery after training.
Newly appointed staff have a supernumerary induction period, supported by a Practice Development Nurse using our in-house competency documents. The department offers training and career development for our support workers.
Upon successful completion of the theatre support worker competency programme, you will circulate for a range ofprocedures under supervision. You will also have a chance to learn to manage the instrument and stock supply for the department. As your confidence and knowledge grows you will take an active role in teaching newcomers 2 theatre support and Trainees.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will be responsible for:
Assisting the surgical team to provide a quality service.
Assisting the surgical team to deliver safe patient care
Supporting the surgical team in the preparation of sterile and non- sterile equipment.
Prepare theatre prior to commencing a list in different specialties.
Participate in circulation duties.
Maintaining a clean and tidy environment throughout theatres to comply with Infection Prevention Requirements
Maintaining consumable stock levels in theatres as well as in storage areas.
Support out of hour emergency surgery as a member of the Emergency CEPOD Theatre team; rotate to weekends, nights or on call duties.

Job summary
To assist in the day-to-day duties of the Pharmacy Procurement and Distribution unit with a specific focus on the distribution and subsequent receiving of all medicines. Work will be carried out under the supervision of the Lead Pharmacy Procurement and Distribution Team. This role will be cross site helping ensure receiving practice across the unit is the same.
Main duties of the job
Distribution:
To accurately use the internal computer system EPIC to issue stock items to replenish wards, departments and community clinics.
To use information obtained from Omnicell system to respond to stock requests and assist with stock optimisation.
To accurately assemble items on picking tickets ready for checking.
To accurately check items previously picked by another member of staff and pack appropriately ready for delivery to required areas
To have responsibility for the top-up of drugs to a designated ward/ department and to provide cover as necessary for any unavailable staff on their wards/department.
Maintenance of stocked items in the Omnicell cabinets including assigning, removing and adjusting stock locations.
To generate Omnicell critical items report
To assist in the issue of 'to follow' items for wards and departments daily.
To monitor and action requests and queries received in the distribution email inbox, including 'ad hoc' items to wards.
To check and record environmental temperatures, referring to a senior colleague in the event of any anomalies.

Main duties of the job
The priority for the post holder will be to provide

Main duties of the job

The postholder will
To dispense or check all types of prescriptions and inpatient orders presented to the Pharmacy for wards & departments post clinical validation from Ashford and St Peters Hospital and all community units served by the Pharmacy in accordance with Trust and departmental service level agreements.
To work with the Dispensary Lead and Chief Technician for Medicines Management in the provision of an efficient, cost-effective medicines management system.

Main duties of the job
Dispensary
? Dispense prescriptions and a variety of medication requests, (including Controlled drugs and extemporaneous preparations, unlicensed medication), presented to the Pharmacy from Ashford and St Peters Hospital wards, departments and outside units in accordance with department agreements.
? Counsel outpatients on the use of their medication (compliance, side effects, possible drug interactions) and check patients understand the information shared.
? Maintain accurate stock levels of dispensary stock including controlled drugs, and undertake regular stock takes of all dispensary stock in rotation according to departmental procedures. This includes checking accuracy recorded on Ascribe and controlled drug register entries.
? Assist in the management of stock control in the dispensary for drugs, containers and other support items.
Ensure that 'to follows' items and special orders are followed up and processed.

Main duties of the job
- To support the delivery of a GMP compliant manufacturing facility that optimises the regional benefit from the £30 million funding provided by NHSE.
- Provides technical QC advice and support to ensure GMP compliance within the MMC. This includes supporting the Head of Quality Control within MHRA inspections, which are essential for continuity of the MMCs manufacturing licence.

Job summary
The Speech and Language Therapy post is based within the Acute team at King's College Hospital, PRUH site. The post holder will provide a highly specialist inpatient service to adults who have communication and/or swallowing disorders, working closely with the MDT to deliver optimal clinical care in the acute and post-acute phases of hospital admission.
The post holder will establish, build and maintain working relationships within Speech & Language Therapy (cross-site) and all multidisciplinary teams within the speciality of acute frailty and elderly care. They will be expected to be involved in Southeast London/London/England-wide Acute networks for Speech & Language Therapists.
