Are you passionate about community/hospital dedicated to the care of frail patients, promoting a home first approach. We're seeking a dynamic therapist at Rochdale Infirmary to support residents of Heywood, Middleton, and Rochdale (HMR).
You'll play a key role in delivering the frailty service, ensuring timely, appropriate care is provided in patients' own homes.
You'll work closely with patients and carers to manage health needs, promote self-care, and develop personalized plans. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, you'll help shape high-quality, patient-centered services aligned with trust goals.

Main duties of the job

You will work within the Interventional Radiology and Cardiac Cath Lab Department therefore peri-operative experience, such as scrub and circulating, would be desirable. However, you will be given training and support in our specialist skills and in peri-operative care. We have an excellent and supportive Practice Education Team who will assist with your orientation and on-going professional development. The Interventional Radiology and Cardiac Catheter Lab run's Monday to Friday 0800- 1800hrs, with a 24h on-call service, including weekends and Bank holidays.
Main duties of the job
The Interventional Radiology Team perform procedures that include central venous access device insertion, biopsy, airway intervention, feeding device insertion, vascular intervention, angiography, and angioplasty.
- To provide clinical leadership to a designated nursing team and ensure the provision of high quality nursing care to children and families.
- To act as a role model and expert clinical practitioner
- To assist in the safe, effective and efficient management of the department within allocated resources
- To promote a progressive attitude to the continual improvement of patient care through research and evidence based practice
- To undertake delegated responsibility for the department in the absence of the Ward Sister/Charge Nurse
The Cardiac Cath lab carries out many cardiac procedures including
- ASD/PDA closures
- ICD implants
- Diagnostic catheters and combined MRI/angiography cases in our state of the art Cardiac Cath Lab suite.
- In addition we provide continuing care to our heart and lung transplant patients.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Assistant Psychologist, who is highly skilled in working with children and young people, to work within the Child Psychology Team in Bradford Hospital's Clinical Health Psychology service and Airedale Child Development Centre (CDC). The post holder will work as a member of two established multidisciplinary teams, providing specialist assessments of autism spectrum conditions (ASC), to children and young people aged 0-7y, and specialist therapeutic input to children and young people with diagnoses of long term physical health conditions.
Within the ASC pathway, the role will involve offering support to children and their parents/carers during the ASC assessment processes, the delivery of observations in education and home settings, undertaking a variety of assessments with clinical oversight from a qualified Clinical Psychologist, and providing follow-up support after assessment/diagnosis.
Within the General Paediatrics pathway, the role will involve delivering psychological support to children and young people with long term health conditions, supporting individual and group interventions, and service evaluations.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will work as a member of established multidisciplinary teams, within Bradford Clinical Health Psychology and CDC services. The teams provide specialist assessments of autism spectrum conditions (ASC), to children and young people aged 0-7y, and specialist therapeutic input to children and young people with diagnoses of long term physical health conditions.
To work within a multidisciplinary ASC assessment team to assist in assessment, to offer support to children and their parents/carers during the assessment processes, the delivery of observations in education and home settings, undertaking a variety assessments, with clinical oversight from a qualified Clinical Psychologist, and follow-up support after assessment/diagnosis.
To work within teams delivering psychological support to children and young people with long term health conditions, to support individual and group interventions, and service evaluations.
The post holder will work independently according to a plan agreed with their supervisor and within the overall framework of local policies and procedures.

East Cheshire NHS Trust is expanding its Respiratory and Sleep service and is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Band 7 Respiratory and Sleep Clinical Physiologist to join our friendly, forward-thinking team.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering and developing a comprehensive range of respiratory and sleep diagnostics. Respiratory investigations include spirometry, lung volumes, gas transfer, bronchodilator reversibility and respiratory muscle assessment, with opportunities to develop advanced testing.
Our established sleep service provides physiologist-led clinics, sleep diagnostics and CPAP therapy for patients with sleep-disordered breathing, alongside face-to-face and remote follow-up and a patient helpline. You will work closely with the wider multidisciplinary team and local tertiary centres.

The successful candidate will be an experienced, adaptable team player with excellent communication and organisational skills, able to manage and prioritise their workload effectively.
You will require previous Band 6 experience, a BSc in Clinical Physiology or equivalent, voluntary registration with RCCP/AHCS and relevant ARTP respiratory accreditation/competencies. Experience in sleep physiology and CPAP is desirable.
Experienced Band 6 applicants working towards the required competencies may be considered, with support to progress to Band 7 on completion of the relevant departmental competencies and qualifications.
This is a part time post working cross site at Macclesfield District General Hospital and at the new purpose built Community Diagnsotic centre in Congleton. 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm.

Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen at University Hospitals Birmingham for a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist to join our supportive and innovative SLT team at Birmingham Heartlands Hospital to provide input to patients with head and neck cancer, voice and upper airway disorders within our ENT and severe asthma multidisciplinary services.
You will work with a highly experienced MDT supporting senior clinicians in the assessment and management of ENT, head and neck patients throughout their treatment. You will also work with the regional severe asthma service providing tertiary support to patients with inducible laryngeal obstruction.
Main duties of the job
This post would ideally suit an established band 6 wishing to expand and apply existing specialist skills in ENT. With support from highly specialist SLTs in ENT and Respiratory, you will train in surgical voice restoration, videofluoscopy and endoscopy for the purposes of FEES and upper airway assessments.
You will be welcomed into a large and supportive SLT team with excellent training and development opportunities, robust supervision and appraisal system.

Job summary
We are looking for a values-led, compassionate and capable Project Delivery Officer, with a demonstrable commitment to improving and supporting children and young people's mental and physical health. This post will work across the Goodall Division within Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust (CNWL) which provides a range of community mental health and physical health services.

Main duties of the job
The Project Delivery Officer will provide essential administrative support to project and business and transformation managers, ensuring the smooth operation and successful delivery of mental and physical health transformation initiatives.
- Support the Division by helping to coordinate and drive delivery of discrete projects covering all transformational aspects within a defined portfolio
- Help realise identified transformation and service redesign opportunities with a clear focus on delivery of the NHS 10 Year Plan
- Utilise project management principles, supporting project leads including both the business & transformation team and wider clinical/ operational staff, and partners including ICBs and Local Authorities, Experts by Experience and third sector organisations
- Be expected to develop a clear understanding of all aspects of the Division and able to communicate to senior members of the division and the trust
- Be an integral member of the Divisional Business and Transformation team, working independently and in collaboration with other members of the team to support delivery of the Division's Transformation priorities.
