Job summary
We are looking for a positive and adaptable person who holds their NVQ2 dispensary qualification (or is due to qualify in the next few months). You must be able to demonstrate relevant recent experience, and possess an adaptable and flexible mentality, as well as a desire to embed newly acquired knowledge and skills
To apply for this role you will need to be able to demonstrate a thorough knowledge of dispensary requirements/legislation and be able to work well as part of a team but be equally comfortable to work on your own.
The role is suited to someone who is IT literate and who will be to work as part of the pharmacy and dispensary team across 2 sites, including the repeat prescribing and the clinical system, stock control, stock ordering and costs, problem solving, as well as dealing with our patients.
Main duties of the job
- Dispensing acute prescriptions.
- Dispensing repeat prescriptions requests received by telephone calls, electronically, face to face and those delivered to the surgery.
- Dispensing private prescriptions.
- MDS dispensing for community and care home patients
- Dealing with returned medicines from patients
- Dealing with uncollected medication
- Handing out prescriptions and collecting charges when appropriate.
- Cashing up prescription moneys, balancing and recording
- Taking prescription repeats over the telephone and at in person from patients.
- Collecting private charges for vaccines and holiday prophylactic medication.
- Sorting, stamping and endorsing prescriptions.
- Submitting all unsigned prescriptions to the doctors, generating nurse prescriptions
- Completing backs of prescriptions.
- Ordering appropriate quantities of goods via the wholesalers computer link.
- Checking goods as and when they are delivered and recording generic details.

Our Heart Failure Specialist Nurse Team plays a key role in delivering high-quality, patient-centred care. In this role, you will provide care across inpatient and outpatient settings, supporting patients throughout their heart failure journey from diagnosis to advanced disease. Responsibilities include optimising heart failure therapies, providing lifestyle and self-management advice, supporting discharge planning, preparing cases for MDT discussions, and contributing to the National Heart Failure Audit (NICOR).

The current post holder is on secondment so we are looking for a Health Advisor with significant HIV experience to cover the role.
Approximately 4500 patients are registered for their care at the Harrison Wing making us one of the biggest and busiest HIV outpatient departments in the capital.
As well providing HIV and sexual health outpatient services we also care for inpatients, primarily on Hillyers Ward at St Thomas' Hospital.
This role would suit an enthusiastic, motivated and experienced Health Advisor with excellent communication and leadership skills. The successful applicant will be expected to support some of the most vulnerable patients under our care. Duties will include holding a caseload of vulnerable patients for psychosocial support, partner notification and active participation in the MDT.

The Band 7 Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) Nurse is a key specialist role within the Trust's governance, quality, and patient safety framework. gtd healthcare is one of the largest NHS commissioned Primary Care, Out of Hours & Urgent Care providers in the North West of England. We have fantastic opportunity for Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join our City Health Centre Walk-in Service in Manchester City Centre.
Our City Health Centre Walk-in Service is situated above Boots on Market Street, which offers a great selection of cafes, restaurants and shops with excellent transport links. We operate 08:00 to 20:00, 7 days per week. Patients can access the service by walking in, via NHS 111 or by referral from other healthcare services.
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering safe, effective and responsive care, ensuring patients receive timely assessment, treatment and onward referral where appropriate.
The successful candidate will have experience working in primary and urgent care as an ACP, you will be expected to provide care via face to face, and telephone.
The post holder will hold an MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice or Credentialing qualification (or equivalent) and a Non-Medical Prescribing qualification. You will be able to work within the four pillars of practice.
Main duties of the job
- Undertake the holistic assessment and clinical examination of patients, of all ages, with both minor and complex needs will be established through history taking, physical examination and the appropriate use of investigations to confirm diagnosis.
- Plan, implement and evaluate an effective management plan for the patient, ensuring safe discharge/referral and/or transfer to an appropriate health care service.
- Provide information and advice on prescribed or over-the-counter medication regimens, including side-effects and interactions.
- The prioritisation of health problems and the appropriate intervening will be paramount in appropriately assisting the patient in complex, urgent or emergency situations, including initiation of effective emergency care.
- Refer and discharge safely ensuring that safety-netting advice is offered.
- Triage telephone referrals, calls from external clinicians, patients and others into a range of services appropriately as required.

Ward 40 is a busy 30-bedded respiratory ward caring for patients with a wide range of respiratory conditions. We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised Housekeeper to join our friendly multidisciplinary team
As the Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in ensuring our ward remains a clean, safe and welcoming environment for patients, visitors and staff. Working closely with the nursing, medical and domestic teams, you will help maintain high standards of cleanliness, infection prevention and patient experience, ensuring the ward runs efficiently on a day-to-day basis.
This is a varied and rewarding role that includes maintaining ward stock levels, ordering and replenishing supplies, serving meals and supporting patients at mealtimes where appropriate, ensuring bed spaces and communal areas are clean and well organised, and liaising with other departments to support the smooth running of the ward. You will also contribute to creating a positive environment where patients feel comfortable, respected and well cared for during their stay.

Main duties of the job
The Dietetic Assistant will support Dietitians in the assessment, monitoring and review of patients receiving dietetic intervention, helping patients, carers and professionals implement nutritional care plans effectively.
The role includes telephone reviews, face-to-face contacts and administrative duties for clinically stable patients. Responsibilities may include monitoring nutritional intake, weight and feeding tolerance; supporting the ordering of enteral feeds, feeding equipment and oral nutritional supplements; and maintaining accurate patient records.

Main duties of the job
Deliver advanced clinical assessment, diagnosis, advice and treatment planning through telephone, video and online consultations. Job summary
An exciting opportunity for a registered nurse has arisen to join us on the women's unit in York Hospital on a 6 month fixed term contract working 22.5 hours per week.
The women's unit comprises of the early pregnancy assessment unit, the gynaecology assessment unit and a colposcopy and hysteroscopy department. A minor operations clinic and a lower genital tract clinic are also held within the unit and the successful candidate will rotate around these clinics.
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills whilst caring for patients who attend the women's unit with early pregnancy complications and other gynaecological conditions.
We are a small friendly team and we are all committed to providing a high standard of patient care in our women's unit.
We are open daily including bank holidays with the exception of Christmas Day.
This post is open to qualified Registered Nurses with a full registration with the UK Nursing and Midwifery Council and Pre-Registered Nurses due to qualify in 2026.
Main duties of the job
Our Early Pregnancy and Gynaecology Assessment Units are an outpatient service where we deliver planned and emergency care. A high proportion of our patients attend with pregnancy complications such as miscarriage, ectopic pregnancies and molar pregnancies.
We also see people who are experiencing acute gynaecological issues and are needing emergency care.
A high standard of communication and the ability to show empathy is very important both in the assessments units and the out patient clinics due to the nature of the conditions our patients attend with.
A flexible working approach will be needed and this post would ideally suit someone with gynaecological experience or someone with a very keen interest in women's health.
As a band 5 registered nurse you will undertake in house training to enable you to see patients independently in the assessment units. This will include triaging patients, assessing patient's needs, reading scan reports, performing venepuncture, safely and effectively discharging patients with an appropriate action plan in place when required.
Interviews for this position will be held in person ONLY at York Hospital. Remote interviews will not be available.

CNWL is looking to recruit a Band 4 Team administrator to join the QPP Westminster Mental Health Hub.
This is a dynamic and innovative Community service offering assessment, treatment, and care planning for individuals with mental health problems. It is a multi-disciplinary team.
The post holder will be responsible for providing a full range of administrative support to the team. This will range from managing general correspondence to data inputting of clinical activity on Trust database. The post holder will be responsible for providing a full range of secretarial and administrative support to the team. This will range from typing of medical and general correspondence, to data inputting of clinical activity on Trust databases.
Main duties of the job
- Prepare and distribute documents by copy and audio typing correspondence. - A good standard of English to O level/GCSE or equivalent RSA/OCR level III or equivalent knowledge and skills. Ability to demonstrate both excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced level of IT literacy with experience of using a range of IT applications, in particular Excel and online meeting software.
Experience

- Previous experience working in a busy/demanding administrative role.
- Provide up to date reports for management team. Take department meeting minutes, transcribe and distribute locally.
Desirable
- Knowledge and experience of supporting research trials and postgraduate education.
- To communicate routine information with members of the team, patients and carers. Communicate both verbally and written using persuasive, negotiation and tact.
