We have vacancies for motivated and enthusiastic staff members to work for the Community Reception team. The post holder will be customer focused and provide a comprehensive service. Communication and organisational skills are essential.
The post holder must have excellent inter personal skills, and be able to organise and prioritise their work schedule. They must be able to work on their own initiative, with excellent telephone manner and respectful confidentiality. Previous experience is desirable . Staff member must be willing to work across all sites as required.
Post holder will be required to cover sickness and absence. The service is open Monday to Friday 7am to 7pm depending on service needs and shifts are allocated according to ensuring service needs are met.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will provide reception and administrative duties to ensure the smooth day to day running of the work environment.
Work with colleagues in establishing and maintaining administrative procedures to promote patient satisfaction, respecting the confidential nature of information relating to the Trust, its staff and patients.
To participate in training and development programmes both internal and externally.
Ensure the delivery of the quality strategy within the designated area incorporating establishment of systems and processes.

Job summary
We are looking for an experienced and motivated HCPC registered podiatrist to join our Community Podiatry Service as a Highly specialist Podiatrist covering the West Lancashire patch on a 9-month fixed-term basis. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about leading high-quality community podiatry services and supporting teams to deliver safe, effective and person-centred care across a range of community settings.
The post holder will have responsibility for the delivery of the clinical service within the defined area, providing visible leadership. You will play a key role in ensuring services are efficient, effective, well-co-ordinated and responsive, with quality and patient experience at the centre of everything you do.
The role will involve regular travel across multiple sites, Therefore, the post holder must be able to meet the travel requirements of this post.
Main duties of the job
The Advanced clinician will take high level responsibility for the triage, clinical assessments and diagnosis of highly complex health and well being needs within a defined sphere of practice. They will implement, evaluate and modify highly complex care/ interventions which they have developed to meet those needs. The Advanced clinician will provide high level care as specified below for a client group and work across professional disciplines, co-ordinating activities as required.
To work as a Highly Specialist Podiatrist with a high degree of autonomy across the multidisciplinary setting.
Leading the Podiatry Team on the management of patients. This will include the assessment, diagnosis, development and implementation of highly specialist programmes of care to patient's as well as providing expert advice on the management of complex patients to others within the team.
The post holder will lead on the development and implementation of service innovations within their portfolio, as well as the development and dissemination of training to the Podiatry Team.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Specialist Occupational Therapist in Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust to join the Occupational Therapist Wheelchair Service at Amersham Hospital. An exciting opportunity for a Research Nurse to join full time - UCLH/UCL Research & Development - Agile Research Delivery Team in supporting multiple specialty studies across UCLH Trust for 12 month Secondment.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated Research Nurse to become part of the Research & Development Agile Research Delivery Team at UCLH. The Research Nurse will provide exceptional specialist research nursing care to a wide variety of patients across multiple specialties (Neurology, Women's health, Paediatrics, Infectious disease, and many others) and deliver different phases of research across the trust. This includes phase 2b - phase 4 clinical trials as well as larger scale multicentre studies. The post holder will be supported by Senior Research Team within the unit, and the role is ideal for highly motivated individuals who are keen to develop their career in Clinical Research Nursing/Clinical Trials.
Main duties of the job
The post holders will work in close collaboration with Principal Investigator and Research Support Staff, to ensure compliance with Trust Policy, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), Human Tissue Act (HTA), and trial specific protocols.
As Research Nurse, you will play a key role in the successfully delivery of our clinical research within the research directorate division. You will provide specialist skills and knowledge to coordinate and manage clinical trials and be responsible to provide high-quality research. Your main responsibility will be ensuring the recruitment of patients, completion of trial related activities and reliable data collection as per protocol requirements in accordance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP), Research Governance and local Trust policies for research. You will be required to plan and manage your own workload effectively and demonstrate effective time management and prioritisation. A proactive, flexible and solution orientated approach is essential. The ability to work autonomously but in collaboration with others is essential. Strong communication and organisational skills are also essential. A flexible proactive working approach is a key element to this role.

Main duties of the job

Main duties of the job
- To assess, review treatment, to inpatients referred to the liaison neuropsychiatry service in the Walton Centre as well as spoke units at Broadgreen Rehabilitation Unit and Elyn Lodge, St Helens and outpatients referred to the Neuropsychiatry Specialist Nurse Clinic ( follow up).
- To work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, ensuring agreed interventions are employed and advise medical, therapist and nursing staff on optimal management of patients with mental health needs in general neurosurgical/neurology and rehabilitation units.
- To participate and organise sessions of education and training of management of mental health and brain injury problems in the Walton Centre and rehabilitation units.
- You will be accountable for your own professional actions, not directly supervised, and receive clinical supervision.

Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, motivated and dynamic individual to join the Macmillan Urology cancer nursing team. We are looking to recruit an experienced Cancer Nurse.
As a Macmillan Urology Cancer CNS, you will work as part of the multidisciplinary team, ensuring that patients with urology cancer receive the highest standard of care and support from diagnosis, throughout the cancer pathway, and to live with and beyond cancer.
Main duties of the job
To perform an effective key role within the MDT to deliver cancer waiting times targets and pathways communication.
To act as a specialist resource for patients and the clinical team by providing comprehensive advice, information, teaching and training both within LNWUHT and externally.
Update own clinical and specialist knowledge. Contribute to audit processes. Undertake, where appropriate, nursing research with published outcomes.
Promote excellence in clinical practice, and the setting of quality standards within specialty.
Active involvement in the development of the service locally and nationally.

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Specialist Speech and Language Therapist (SLT) to join our bank team, working 7.5 hours per week on Fridays.
The successful candidate will work with school-aged children in mainstream school settings, supporting children and young people with a range of speech, language and communication needs (SLCN). This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced clinician to use their specialist skills to deliver high-quality assessment, intervention and advice within an educational environment.
Main duties of the job
- Providing specialist assessment, diagnosis and intervention to children and young people with complex communication needs and dysphagia (eating, drinking and swallowing disorders) needs as relevant to the role. This will include supporting parents, school staff and other professionals in all issues related to client management. Liaison with the MDT is an integral part of the role.
- To assess the needs for, develop and implement specialist Speech and Language Therapy treatment to children referred to the SLT service to mainstream schools
- To provide advice to others regarding the management and care of children with communicationdifficulties
- To be accountable for own professional actions and recognise own professional boundaries, seeking advice from senior colleagues as appropriate
- The post holder will also provide some day-to-day supervision and peer review support to less experienced colleagues and students, including second opinions when necessary.
- The post holder will run appropriate in service training independently for school and other staff.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Band Specialist Podiatrist to join our Bank team on a temporary basis, working across Harrow or Brent. This is an exciting opportunity to provide specialist podiatric biomechanics and musculoskeletal (MSK) care within a supportive community service while enjoying the flexibility of bank work.
As the clinical specialist for biomechanics, you will provide expert assessment, diagnosis and treatment for patients with biomechanical, MSK and neuromuscular conditions across community clinics and local acute hospital sites. You will play a key role in developing evidence-based treatment plans and delivering highly specialised clinical advice to colleagues across multidisciplinary teams.
You will also act as a clinical leader, supporting and educating podiatry colleagues and junior staff in biomechanical assessment, MSK interventions and best practice. In addition, you will provide education and training to other health and social care professionals, as well as patients, promoting the importance of foot function in preventing and managing MSK injury, dysfunction and disease.

To work as a key member of the department's security & safety team, to provide expertise and effective coordination of site security, asset protection, and hazard avoidance services.

Main duties of the job
Maintaining a highly visible deterrent by patrolling of hospital site on foot. In doing this checking all property and land associated with the Trust & CHS is secure and free of hazard.
Identify and report any Incidents, hazards, damage, or suspicious activity.
Respond to any security/fire related incidents on CHFT & Community sites.
Respond to Intruder incidents as appropriate ensuring that a detailed incident report is made out.
Calls for assistance from Ward/Department staff to deal with such duties as locked areas, missing patients, problems with patients/visitors and incidents of violence and aggression.
Use of appropriate restraint techniques if/when trained to do so.
Acting on all emergency calls, immediately.
Responding to Alarm activations ensuring that alarms are dealt with in accordance with written protocols and procedures and any faults reported as necessary.

Newcastle Sexual Health Team have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and committed Sexual Health Specialist Nurse. We are looking for a qualified sexual health nurse, who is friendly and enthusiastic, with a flexible approach to provide support to the clinical team. This is a permanent full/part-time position, which will predominantly be based within the community sexual health clinic at Newcastle Sexual Health Service in Summerhill. However, there may be times when the employee would need to work at Gateshead Trinity Square Health Centre and Palmers Community Hospital in Jarrow and outreach clinical locations.
We are a friendly, community based, multi-disciplinary team. Main duties of the job
The sexual health service is part of the community directorate within South Tyneside and Sunderland Foundation Trust.
The successful candidate will be an experienced Specialist Sexual Health Nurse, and:
Demonstrate they have previous experience working within an integrated sexual health service
Maintain and respect strict confidentiality standards for service users
Maintain a sensitive and non-judgemental approach when working with service users
The post holder will be required to work evening and weekend duties as part of a monthly roster.
The post holder will be required to travel between clinic locations and for meetings as necessary.
The post holder will work effectively as part of the wider sexual health team and demonstrate excellent communication skills.

Job summary
DSFS Ltd are looking for enthusiastic candidates to join our Domestic Services Team Chesterfield Royal Hospital.The Domestic Services Department provides a cleaning service to wards, departments and communal areas, playing a vital role in support of the above by maintaining a pleasant, hygienic, and comfortable environment for patients via the provision of high-quality domestic services.
Working Saturday and Sunday 17:00 - 20:00
The rota will be based on a 6 hour a week contract working on a rota basis which will include some weekends and bank holidays
Main duties of the job
- Clean specific areas in line with training given and in accordance with approved methods, NHS National cleaning standards and frequencies.
- Work in accordance with the day-to-day schedule, as directed.
- Safely utilise mechanical and electrical cleaning equipment following appropriate training and to be responsible for cleaning domestic services equipment after use.
- Work to prevent the spread of infection by following the National colour code system.
- Ensure that cleaning cupboards are locked and secured every time they are not in use and to be responsible for the security of keys issued to these areas.
- Ensure compliance with mandatory training and attend other relevant training, as directed.
- Ensure compliance with relevant hospital policies and procedures.
- Report accidents and near misses or unsafe situations, so appropriate action can be taken.
- Treat patients, visitors and staff with dignity and respect.
- Undertake specialist cleans where knowledge of differing cleaning methodologies are required resulting in the use of specific PPE.
- Undertake any other duties appropriate to the role / as requested by line management.
- Undertake actions arising from cleaning audits within agreed timescales
