Job summary
An opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to work within our busy Pharmacy Technical Services Unit. This service covers the preparation of medicines used within the treatment of cancer.
We have two fixed term maternity leave covers:
- Full time, 37.5 hours per week until 18th July 2027
- Part time, 22.5 hours per week until 25th October 2027
You should ideally have some experience of supervising / co-ordinating staff and workflow.You must be flexible and react positively to change. You must be able to follow written procedures, work under supervision and complete tasks accurately to set deadlines. This role will involve providing specialist support to the Technical Services team and includes supervising, training and mentoring staff. You will also assist in managing stock control as well as the assembly and preparation of various pharmaceuticals and working in our cleanrooms.
Consideration will be given for strong candidates who may not meet the essential criteria to undertake this role on a developmental basis with set competency targets. These roles will be banded lower than originally advertised until competency targets are met.
If you are interested in contributing to the care of patients using practical skills with an ability to work under your own initiative, good communication skills, a high level of accuracy and are keen to develop your skills then you may be suited to this type of role.

To support the oncology pharmacy team in providing an effective, safe and timely service to the Trust and its users, working within departmental and Trust procedures.
To assist and supervise in the day-to-day running of the Chemotherapy Preparation Unit (CPU) at all stages of the production process. Aseptically manufacture products following standard operating procedures and worksheets. Assist in the cleaning and maintenance of the facility and equipment to support the manufacturing process.

Job summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated Radiographer or Clinical Technologist (Nuclear Medicine) to join our small, highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Team at ESNEFT. You would be required to support the clinical service across both Ipswich and Colchester sites.
As a Radiographer appointed to this post, we would expect you to be registered with the HCPC. For a graduate Clinical Technologist in Nuclear Medicine appointed to this post you would be expected to join the Register of Clinical Technologists as a Nuclear Medicine specialist.
The Nuclear Medicine departments perform a wide range of Diagnostic and Therapeutic procedures including DaTscan, Neuroendocrine imaging, Myocardial Perfusion Imaging, I131 post ablation, Lutetium and Radium. Across both sites there are 4 Siemens systems: Siemens Pro Specta and Intevo SPECT CT in Ipswich, and a Siemens Evo, and Intevo Bold in Colchester, with a new installation due in Ipswich in 2027.
You will be expected to take part in a range of duties including IV administration, imaging, handling and assaying Radioisotopes, contamination monitoring, routine QA and data handling.
Main duties of the job
- To carry out any duties in Nuclear Medicine under the direction of the Chief Technologist.
- To work cross site at either the Colchester or Ipswich Nuclear Medicine Department where required, sometimes at short notice.
- To administer Radiopharmaceuticals under the direction of the ARSAC licence holder, according to departmental protocols.
- To perform imaging in accordance with Departmental protocols.
- To care for any patient undergoing a Radionuclide investigation.
- To ensure that all radioactive material is handled safely, and in compliance with the local rules and all appropriate legislation.
- To take part in IV administration, imaging, routine QA and data handling.

Job summary
The Community Mental Health Centre Service Manager will provide senior overall operational, quality and clinical leadership and responsibility for a Community Mental Health Centre. This means securing and assuring that the highest standard of clinical care is provided to our patients/service users when in treatment, covering all aspects of the quality agenda and all elements of operational leadership as part of the management team. Main duties of the job
he post holder will provide effective leadership and operational management to ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality, evidence-based services in line with Trust objectives and national standards. We are seeking a Clinical Lead for a 9-month secondment role within the Integrated Neurodevelopmental Team in Greenwich. The postholder will provide senior clinical leadership, supervision and line management, supporting safe, high-quality neurodevelopmental assessment and related interventions for children, young people and their families.
The role will support effective case management, demand and capacity oversight, risk management, service improvement, audit and policy development.
