Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to work alongside our friendly and motivated team of nurses and health care professional on a busy surgical assessment unit.We require someone dynamic, proactive, and enthusiastic with the ability to work well on their own and as part of a team . Excellent communication skills is essential for this role. The housekeeper role incorporates an array of non clinical duties to include being responsible for the ordering and organisation of stores ensuring stock levels are maintained at all times, completion of daily and weekly audits, challenge non compliance and escalate findings to ward manager/ nurse in charge and feed back to staff, to ensure that high standards of nursing care is adhered to at all times.
Main duties of the job
- To receive, welcome and guide visitors on arrival to the ward, liaising with other staff as appropriate.
- To act as the co-ordinator for the ward on behalf of the nurse in charge to ensure that relatives, that attend the ward in difficult circumstances, i.e. bereavement/breaking bad news or upset, are dealt with promptly and appropriately using tact and empathy where necessary.
- To respond to requests for general information.
- To receive and pass on information to others, maintaining confidentiality.
- To handle minor complaints and take appropriate action.
- To be aware of any new food hygiene standards, changes to waste categorisation etc.
- To assist the Ward Manager (if necessary) to ensure Mandatory training policy is adhered to by ensuring good record keeping.
- Assist the Housekeeper manager and ward manager in evaluating change to local policies.
- Contribute to the purchasing of ward equipment and supplies.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Are you a Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist with solid experience at Band 5/6 level who wishes to further develop their clinical skills and experience in the area of paediatric complex needs? You will be responsible for developing and delivering training to staff and family as well as supporting our AAC pathway. The post holder will also benefit from professional support and development opportunities to develop their skills further including CPD opportunities and regular team meetings and supervision. You will also develop your management skills as you will support more junior members of the team as well as students.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will be passionate, hard-working and dynamic with an interest in service improvement. You will have excellent team working skills and be willing to work flexibly across sites and locations.
The post holder will work as an autonomous practitioner to assess, diagnose and manage children and young people with complex needs. Experience in AAC is highly preferred as you will support and advocate for alternative methods of communication where needed.
You will work with a shared specialist caseload of children and young people across the footprint as well as working at the targeted and universal level to deliver training to parents/carers and staff. You will be expected to support student placements as we strongly value this. Working with Welsh medium pupils forms part of the role and so the ability to speak Welsh is desirable. There will be opportunities to gain skills organising and creating training, developing supervision skills and participating in total team development days and team meetings. You will also work with our Team Leads and wider team to ensure our service provides efficient, effective, patient centred care.

A position has arisen within the Medicine Outpatients team for a Receptionist to cover a 12 month maternity post. The role will be for 19 hours per week predominately Wednesday-Friday, however hours may vary subject to service demand.

Main duties of the job

We are excited to offer three fixed-term Band 5 Physiotherapist posts (funded until 31 March 2027) within our Musculoskeletal (MSK) Physiotherapy Service at Midlands Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust.
These roles provide an excellent opportunity to build your clinical skills, gain valuable MSK experience, and develop confidence managing your own caseload while receiving support from an experienced MSK team. Vacancies are available across North Staffordshire & Stoke-on-Trent and South Staffordshire (Tamworth & Lichfield, Stafford & Cannock).
You will work alongside Physiotherapists and Advanced Practice Physiotherapists, carrying out assessments, delivering evidence-based treatment programmes and supporting patients to achieve their goals. Whether you have a strong interest in MSK or are looking to build on your student placement experience, this role offers excellent exposure to outpatient physiotherapy practice.

Main duties of the job
You will join our friendly team as a Physiotherapist and will be expected to assess new service user referrals and care/support needs. Assess service users and formulate, develop, implement and evaluate programmes of treatment /care/support for individuals, families and carers. We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Systemic Family Psychotherapist to join our innovative Systemic Family Therapy Service in the Forensic Directorate. The post holder will join a team of Systemic Family Psychotherapists who work across Medium and Low Secure units and Forensic Outreach team, ELCFS (The East London Community Forensic Service).
The post holder will deliver specialist systemic interventions to service users referred to the Family Therapy Service. - To offer inreach services to service users approaching discharge, working with inpatient wards and community teams.
- Facilitating systemic case discussions, co-leading formulation meetings, and actively participating in Risk meetings and seclusion reviews.
- Providing systemic consultation for service user management, offering supervision, training, and guidance on psychological care.
