Birmingham, Black Country and Solihull Procurement Collaborative (BBCS PC) is an award-winning procurement team hosted by University Hospital Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust(UHB), who are responsible for providing dedicated procurement support to all Trusts within the Birmingham, Black Country and Solihull Integrated Care Systems.
BBCS PC have a requirement for a hard-working Assistant Category Manager within the Corporate team, to join our growing team based at our offices in Regent Court- Edgbaston, Birmingham.
In this role you will interface with various stakeholders at all Trusts within the BBCS PC for the Corporate functions. You will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of methodologies to facilitate and monitor contracts. Whilst ensuring all procurement activity is undertaken in accordance with public procurement legislation and Trust standing financial instructions.
You will effectively provide support to the Category Manager who will manage the internal operations and resources to enable the delivery of saving targets and work-plans.
You will be expected to build and maintain professional relationships, implement change and enable the Procurement department to continuously improve the service delivered to stakeholders.
You shall form part of a team spanning multiple Corporate categories where you shall work collaboratively to utilise initiative and share knowledge that feeds into the ICB/Trust/Department strategy.
Main duties of the job
*Support with the Corporate procurement for all Trusts within the BBCS PC to ensure compliance and value for money.
*Assist with identifying Corporate projects in need of procurement support and/or contractual requirements and work with the relevant Category Managers and department(s) to successfully implement changes.
*Assist with the development of the annual Procurement workplan and ensure this is updated regularly.
*Assist the Category Manager in face-to-face or virtual contract meetings, providing well-prepared analysis of all relevant factors.
*Assist in identifying key risk areas and ensure that these are reported to Category Managers.
*Develop and maintain a sound knowledge of all relevant commodities and supply markets through conducting market research.
*Raise the profile of the service and ensure appropriate user involvement in the procurement of goods and service.
*Assist the Category Manager on a range of procurement projects including the creation and preparation of tender and contractual documentation.

We are looking for a passionate Assistant Psychologist to join our team at Cygnet Grange and Lodge.
Cygnet Hospital Grange and Lodge are two 8 bed Neuropsychiatric rehabilitation, care and treatment facilities for those affected by acquired brain injuries. The services provides a safe and secure place to aid recovery as well as offering those diagnosed with a progressive neurological disease, like Huntingtons Disease, a caring and long term placement to support and help manage the progression of their symptoms.
Your Day-to-Day
We are seeking an academically strong candidate to support and enhance the psychological care of patients at the service by assisting the Psychology department with;
- Contributing to direct and indirect assessments, scoring and reporting (verbal / written).
- Adapting assessment methods, intervention materials in accordance with clients communication difficulties, sensory needs or cognitive impairment.
- Clinical/neuropsychologic al formulation and implementing care plans for psychological treatment
- To oversee the gathering and collation of incident data and evidence as part of the functional analysis and formulation.
- Communicating results, formulations and recommendations arising from assessments to the multidisciplinary team.
- Planning, delivering and evaluating individual / group programmes.
- Administration, audit, research and service development.
- You would receive weekly supervision as well as informal support and development opportunities.
Were looking for someone who is
- Degree qualified in Psychology (2:1 or above) or equivalent
- BPS (British Psychological Society) Accredited
- Qualified to Masters degree level or higher in Psychology (preferable)
- Experienced in an Assistant Psychologist role(preferable)
- Passionate about neuro rehabilitation, learning, and working as part of a multidisciplinary

Cygnet Hospital Grange and Lodge are two 8 bed Neuropsychiatric rehabilitation, care and treatment facilities for those affected by acquired brain injuries. The services provides a safe and secure place to aid recovery as well as offering those diagnosed with a progressive neurological disease, like Huntingtons Disease, a caring and long term placement to support and help manage the progression of their symptoms.
Your Day-to-Day
We are seeking an academically strong candidate to support and enhance the psychological care of patients at the service by assisting the Psychology department with;
- Contributing to direct and indirect assessments, scoring and reporting (verbal / written).
- Adapting assessment methods, intervention materials in accordance with clients communication difficulties, sensory needs or cognitive impairment.
- Clinical/neuropsychologic al formulation and implementing care plans for psychological treatment
- To oversee the gathering and collation of incident data and evidence as part of the functional analysis and formulation.
- Communicating results, formulations and recommendations arising from assessments to the multidisciplinary team.
- Planning, delivering and evaluating individual / group programmes.
- Administration, audit, research and service development.
- You would receive weekly supervision as well as informal support and development opportunities.

- Degree qualified in Psychology (2:1 or above) or equivalent
- BPS (British Psychological Society) Accredited

Main duties of the job
This is a training position post holder will undertake training at Kings College London alongside working in service for [service]. Main duties of the job
This is a training position post holder will undertake training at Kings College London alongside working in service for [service]. They will be taught to deliver evidence based guided self-help interventions for children and young people experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties. The post holder will use their newly developed skills to support children and young people who are referred into the service and trainees will receive supervision to support their professional development.
The training and service experience will equip the post holder with the necessary knowledge, attitude and capabilities to operate effectively in an inclusive, value driven service.
The post holder will attend all university based taught and Onsite Protected Learning Time required by the education provider, as specified within the agreed national curriculum and work in the service for the remaining days of the week using their newly developed skills.Applicants will need to be ready to start work in early/mid-January 2027 and posts cannot be offered to candidates unless they can guarantee this start date.

Job summary
We are excited to announce 11 training CWP posts in West London Trust across Hammersmith and Fulham, Hounslow and Ealing Community CAMHS and Mental Health Support Teams. The purpose of the role is to provide early intervention by way of Guided Self Help (GSH) for children and young people experiencing emotional and behavioural difficulties especially those who would not normally meet the threshold or engage with CAMHS.
Alongside working towards a Postgraduate Certificate in Child and Young Person's Psychological Wellbeing Practice at Kings College London (KCL), you will work in clinic under the supervision of a CWP Supervisor and there will be close links with the specialist Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) CAMHS teams as well as working within community settings and within schools.
The training programme is part of the Children and Young Persons Increasing Access to Psychological Therapies (CYP-IAPT). The aim of the programme is to provide evidence-based treatment's that are brief, low in intensity for mild to moderate emotional and behavioural difficulties in children and young people.

Job summary
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and motivated psychologist/psychological therapist with an enthusiasm for working in inpatient services to join the Inpatient Psychological Therapies Service at the Hammersmith and Fulham Mental Health Unit. The post is based on our female acute ward, where the psychological service is well-established and valued. Across the unit there is a commitment to trauma-informed and formulation-driven care.
You will join a welcoming psychology team, consisting of clinical psychologists, CBT therapists, arts therapists and psychotherapists. We also host placements for first-year and third-year trainee clinical psychologists and MSc students. Continuing professional development and career progression is a service priority.
We warmly encourage applications from both experienced and newly qualified practitioners. The post is available as a Band 7 developmental post or Band 8a depending on experience. Successful candidates appointed at Band 7 will be provided opportunities and support to progress to the Band 8a role upon successful completion of a preceptorship programme.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be responsible for the provision and governance of a full and comprehensive psychological service for a female acute ward. They will provide direct care to service users and their families offering assessment, formulation, and brief evidence-based interventions.
They will work collaboratively and proactively with the multi-disciplinary team to provide a safe, equitable and trauma-informed approach to care. The team's psychological understanding will be supported and developed through teaching, training, team formulation, consultation, and supervision. This will involve the postholder contributing to the implementation of RAID, a psychological approach to working with behaviours that challenge, and supporting the introduction and implementation of stabilisation skills. Both of which are part of our service priorities on reducing restrictive practice and trauma-informed care.
Facilitating reflective practice, providing de-briefs after serious incidents and other supportive interventions for staff wellbeing are an important and rewarding part of the role.

Job summary
DSFS are looking to appoint 4 Switchboard Control Operators on a bank working arrangement to join our team based at the Chesterfield Royal Hospital. As the post is often the first point of contact with the general public you must be aware of the importance of delivering a high quality, efficient service and to be able to demonstrate excellent verbal communication skills.
The hours can vary as this post is a zero hours contract (we provide 24 hour cover.) You will be required to cover for holidays ,sickness and other leave, sometimes at short notice, therefore flexibility is an essential requirement of the post as we provide this important service over 7 days a week 365 days a year.
Hours covered between 7.00am- 10.00pm variable shifts available
Main duties of the job
Unlike other Switchboard posts, this role also provides an essential response service for emergency calls, fire alarms and unplanned occurrences and therefore we are looking to recruit a person who is able to work in a calm and competent manner in a sometimes stressful and seemingly chaotic environment whilst continuing to provide a consistent Switchboard service.
You must be educated to GCSE standard (or equivalent) and be comfortable working autonomously and as part of a team.
A comprehensive training period (with weekly assessments) covering all aspects of the post and shift patterns will be undertaken to ensure full capability of the Switchboard and Trust Policy and Procedure before the successful candidate will be allowed to work alone out of hours .
