This shift pattern requires five shifts to be worked per week and may include weekend working
The post is based at Hillingdon Hospital.
- Carry out all routine cleaning duties at the prescribed times and compliance with the specific ward/department policies and procedures at all times including any changes to methods or frequencies of work scheduling.
- Liaise with ward hostess in any regard concerning services to the patients, for instance maintenance issues, requests etc.
- Use and care of approved cleaning materials and equipment at all times in accordance with the operator instructions.
Main duties of the job
Our domestic team take pride in ensuring all areas of the hospital meet high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in all patient, visitor and staff areas. For these positions it is desirable to have previous cleaning experience but not essential, we can provide full training. You will however need to have:
- Good communication skills both written and verbal
- Be able to demonstrate good customer service skill
Job summary
To provide a domestic cleaning service to remove dust, dirt, debris, liquid to prevent the spread of infection, preserve the life of the building, fabric and furnishings whilst providing a clinical and/or socially acceptable hospital environment which includes wards, departments and public areas.

This is an exciting role for a Clinical Trials Assistant (CTA) to be part of a new network of NIHR Primary Care Clinical Research Delivery Centres (CRDC) (Primary Care) to deliver clinical trials based in Dorset. The NIHR Dorset CRDC (Primary Care) is an established collaboration consisting of 5 practices who have committed to work together delivering commercial research to our local population. We have a 2-year track record of successful trial delivery. The vision of the NIHR CRDC Dorset (PC) is to enable practices across Dorset, who wish to be research active at whatever level, achieve this through the support of the NIHR CRDC Dorset (PC). The Adam Practice (TAP) hosts the NIHR CRDC Dorset (PC) and will support study set up, delivery & close down of clinical trials. All the practices in the NIHR CRDC Dorset (PC) are partners and work together delivering clinical trials for patient benefit. The CTA role is very similar to a healthcare assistant (HCA) role. You will be integral to supporting research nurses for clinic visits completing activities as stated below.
Main duties of the job
- Assist and support nurses with completion of trial paperwork.
- Support patient visits.
- Provide general administrative support including filing, typing, fielding telephone calls, retrieving patient test results via hospital IT systems and arrange meeting dates, times and venues as directed by management.
- Update databases under the guidance of nurses and administrative staff.
- Assist research nurses in the day to day running of clinical trials, including completing lab work, full training will be given for this.
- With assistance, make arrangements for pathological samples, radiological films and
electronic data to be sent for central review.
- Support the team in preparing documentation for monitoring visits including ensuring all study documentation is available to the monitors during their visit, arranging suitable meeting rooms and act as a liaison when monitors are on-site.
- To have an understanding, but training will be given, that all research must be conducted according to ICH-GCP, the EU Directive on Good Clinical Practice and the Research Governance Guidelines and assist the team in upholding these.

We are looking for an experienced patient access coordinator to join our busy Emergency Department Admin team. This role will include being the first point of contact for patients which will including registration of patients that attend by foot and my ambulance. Main duties of the job
The Patient Access Coordinator works in the Emergency Department (ED) and has an essential role within the ED Team. This is a combined role which includes but is not limited to:
- Reception duties: being the first point of contact for patients
- Registration of patients into the department both on foot and by ambulance
- Completion of breach data for both 4- and 12-hour national targets
- Monitoring of Decision to Admit for senior reviewed patients (DTAs)
- Handling phone calls from internal departments and external stakeholders
- Have an overview at all times of the position in the emergency Department
- Ensure that all patients are being actively managed with an appropriate plan
- Utilise escalation triggers and liaise with the Flow Nurse/ Nurse in Charge
- Provide regular SITREP updates to the Clinical Site Team
- Provide administration support and advice as required to clinical colleagues in the Emergency Department
- Manual handling of patients to assist with internal transfers

At Band 7, the post holder will work as a developing specialist pain management psychologist, providing high-quality psychological assessment and intervention for individuals with persistent pain as part of a multidisciplinary team. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time band 6 rotational post across stroke and neurology. Main duties of the job
The post-holder is responsible for the provision of a quality OT service, under the direction of the Team Leader, ensuring high standards of clinical practice are provided.

1.Ensure the patients, relatives and those the therapist comes into contact with are aware of the role of the Occupational Therapist and components of the Occupational Therapy treatment programme.

Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 4 Assistant Practitioner to join the Cardiac Arrest Prevention (CAP) Team. The cardiac arrest prevention team provides a comprehensive service for the organisation including a significant training program for all clinical staff from basic through to advanced courses.
The teams main focus is to eliminate avoidable cardiac arrest through extensive audit programmes, rapid case reviews of any unexpected death or potential failure to rescue, teaching and providing professional support to clinical areas and individuals.
In addition to this the team provides professional advice in relation to cardiac arrest prevention and resuscitation, coordinates the procurement of equipment and organization of the hospital emergency teams.

Main duties of the job
The team plays a significant role in patient safety and is involved in proactively managing risk in relation to cardiac arrest prevention & resuscitation. Main duties of the job

CLEANERS OPPORTUNITIES AT SEACROFT & CHAPEL ALLERTON HOSPITALS
Do you want to make a difference to your local community? The Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is looking for flexible and reliable individuals to work as facilities technicians at Seacroft Hospital & Chapel Allerton Hospital. You'll play a vital part in helping to keep our patients, visitors, and staff safe, by ensuring the highest levels of cleanliness, ensure our patients are well-fed by providing meal services and you'll work closely with all teams on site by supporting the delivery of excellent patient care.
Main duties of the job
We currently have permanent vacancies, to work on Wards & department areas.
Post 1: M-F 1530-2130 (30 hrs) - Seacroft
Post 2: M-F 1300-1930 (30 hrs) - Seacroft
Post 3: M-F 1600-1900 (15hrs) Seacroft
Post 4: M-F 0730-1100 (17.5hrs) - Chapel Allerton
Post 5: M-F 1200-1830 (30 hrs) - Chapel Allerton
Post 6: M-F 1445-1930 (23.75hrs) - Chapel Allerton
Post 7: S&S 1545-1930 (7.5hrs) Chapel Allerton
Successful applicants will be invited to an interview assessment centre held on Friday 23rd October. The assessment centre will consist of an interview with set questions for the candidates around activities such as cleaning, ward food service, task prioritisation, infection prevention. Details of which may be taken from the attached job description. There will also be a short interactive test where the candidate is asked to take part in a mock patient interaction relating to something likely to be within the role expectation such as asking for directions, or having to complete the meal food order.
A full enhanced DBS check will be required for all roles.

Able to record all information required as part of the completion of duties
Attend training sessions required to allow the completion of allocated duties
What you will bring to the roleThe roles will provide cleaning duties (dusting, mopping, cleaning toilets, sinks, patient beds etc) within either wards, departments or public areas, dependant on which role the successful candidates are appointed into. Within ward areas the role is also required to complete full catering services to Patients (after training has been given).
- Ensuring the environment is cleaned to the highest standards.
- Catering duties involve a caring, Patient centred approach to meal & beverage services.
- There will be an expectation to complete ad-hoc duties when required.
Portering role will provide site support in moving stock, stores and equipment as well as patients. Post, medical gas & linen delivery. Waste handling and removal. The ideal candidates will be enthusiastic, good team players and able to work on their own initiative and be able to demonstrate the Leeds Way Values
Full Training and a uniform will be provided.
