An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Mental Health Practitioner to join our Neighbourhood Mental Health Team working within the Primary Care Networks (PCNs) in west Birmingham.
Within BSMHFT our community mental health services are well-established and as part of the BSOL community transformation programme, we are looking to increase our primary care teams with primary care practitioner roles. This is an exciting opportunity to be at the heart of national change and developments in the delivery of community mental health care. The development of our Neighbourhood mental health team is an essential service which we are in the process of evolving in line with the NHS Long Term Plan.
We are looking for enthusiastic and dynamic individuals who are able to work within a multi- disciplinary team, working alongside GP's and other primary care professionals who strive to achieve the best outcomes for individuals within the local community.
Main duties of the job
You will be responsible for providing mental health triage, assessment and outcomes-based intervention to meet service user's needs within the Neighbourhood Mental Health Team.
You will be responsible for identifying need and best course of advice, support or intervention, promoting psychosocial wellbeing by identifying and then supporting pathways for service users and carers.
Crucial to this role will be your ability toensure robust communication across mental health providers, VCSE organisations and primary care in accordance with each individual service users needs by provide support and advice to all colleagues with the PCN as required including participation within the local neighbourhood MDT's.

Job summary

The main tasks may include conducting service evaluation and/or QI projects; developing cultural appropriate and sensitive information booklets; engaging with diverse communities; and liaising with other services to share experiences, etc. Alongside the focus on diversity work, the postholder will also involve in clinical work, providing manual-based cognitive behavioural interventions such as CBT-T, guided self-help and e-learning packages according to levels of skills and experience, and taking part in the facilitation of the group programme including planning and running of therapeutic groups. There will also be opportunities to participate in research and audit activities and to support teaching and training programmes within the service. Being allied to the multi-disciplinary team in the Eating Disorders Service, the post holder will act as a member of the team, attend meetings and contribute to informing patients' psychological care within the team.

Main duties of the job
Under the supervision of a qualified and suitably experienced psychologist:
- To implement initiatives in the diversity workstream recently developed in the service to improve inclusion and reduce health inequalities.
- To participate in working group(s) associated with diversity and inclusion.
- To work alongside Experts by Experience in co-produced initiatives.
- To take part in the facilitation of the group programme, including planning and running of therapeutic groups
- To provide manual-based cognitive behavioural interventions such as guided self-help and e-learning packages
- To involve in short-term and discrete individual work with client as appropriate, according to levels of skills and experience.
- To attend clinical reviews and other multi-disciplinary meetings
- To attend regular individual clinical supervision
- To undertake specific duties as appointed pertaining to service governance objectives including planning, data collection and analysis, report writing and presentation. This will necessitate the substantive use of IT equipment and software.
- To undertake/contribute to teaching, training, health promotion research and related activities of the service.

Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a second healthcare assistant to join our expanding county-wide service in Cornwall. The role would sit within a supportive and innovative team, delivering care in community clinic settings across the county.
The post holder will carry out physical monitoring for children & young people with eating disorders, who are under the care of CYPEDS. Regularly working without direct supervision involving direct care to patients and carers to support the registered clinicians, and with the support of consultant paediatricians as needed.
A clear escalation process is in place to provide safety and containment for the staff member, should patients need escalating to a clinician for additional support, or a hospital admission need arranging.
The healthcare assistant would receive regular supervision and training.

Main duties of the job

The Coventry Community Neuro and Stroke Rehab Services (CINSS) are looking for a highly motivated Speech and Language Therapist to join their interdisciplinary team.
The service is a community based interdisciplinary therapy team, who support the timely discharge of patients from hospital. These patients have ongoing rehabilitation or neuro management needs following a new or worsening presentation of a neurological condition, both stroke, and non-stroke.

This Assistant Psychologist post is a paid work experience opportunity funded by NHS England's Aspiring Clinical Psychologist Scheme aiming to increase access to careers in the psychological professions for underrepresented groups.
To be eligible for this funded opportunity applicants must meet the following criteria and clearly demonstrate in the supporting information how they:

Main duties of the job

This post will be hosted within our Staff Psychological Wellbeing Services and will involve working alongside a team of psychological professionals. Ward 35 is a 23-bedded Care of the Elderly ward caring for patients aged 65 years and over, including those living with dementia, delirium and Parkinson's disease.

Main duties of the job
As a Band 2 Health Care Assistant on Ward 35, you will work as part of the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, person-centred care to older adults with a range of physical, cognitive and complex health needs, including dementia, delirium and Parkinson's disease.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting patients with personal care needs, including washing, dressing, toileting and maintaining dignity at all times.
- Supporting patients with eating and drinking, encouraging independence where possible and monitoring nutritional intake.
- Assisting with the safe mobilisation and transfer of patients using appropriate equipment and techniques.
- Supporting patients who may be confused, distressed or living with dementia by providing reassurance, effective communication and compassionate care.
- Assisting with pressure area care and supporting measures to prevent falls and maintain patient safety.
- Working in partnership with patients, families and carers, treating everyone with kindness, respect and dignity.
- Accurately documenting care provided and communicating effectively with members of the multidisciplinary team.

Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 7 Speech and Language Therapy Team Leader to work within the Expert at Hand model. The role is for 22.5 hours per week, and support will be provided by a team of colleagues who are committed to delivering timely, high-quality and innovative care.
The successful post holder will provide day-to-day operational management of a team of qualified and unqualified staff within Speech and Language Therapy. They will have the opportunity to undertake clinical work in a range of settings and will liaise with key partners across health and education.

Main duties of the job

- To provide day-to-day operational management of clinical staff working within the Experts at Hand pathway, including supervision and support, ensuring staff wellbeing and professional development.

We are looking for experienced HCA's with an NVQ Level 3 or extensive experience to join our nursing team.

Job summary
To work as part of a multi-disciplinary team providing specialist radiotherapy treatment & patient support, in line with Trust and departmental policies and procedures.Working as a specialist with proven skills and experience in using a variety of radiotherapy equipment and treatment techniques, organizing the unit activity and staff on a daily basis.
The post holder is responsible for performing with the highest standard of patient care and technical practice in their clinical area while treating patients
Main duties of the job
Specialist practitioners are usually required to rotate through all areas within the radiotherapy service (unless the service requirement is for a static placement), and deputise for the relevant team leader as required. The post-holder is expected to use their experience in supporting and training other qualified professionals, trainees and visitors.
Specialist practitioners may be required to make clinical judgments which fall outside of protocol. They will be required to use their experience, specialist knowledge & initiative in order to achieve the expected results within professional codes of practice, referring to their team leader or appropriate advanced practitioners as appropriate.
The post holder is expected to use specialist knowledge to take action on technical and patient related issues on a daily basis in their allocated area (including amendments to treatments). They must be competent in a variety of situations, referring issues outside their scope of practice to their relevant advanced practitioners.

We could be flexible with how the hours are met over the working days, as long as the services needs are met. We embrace flexible working and we support a hybrid model of working from home as well as the office.

We offer Phlebotomy services in a range of locations across North Midlands including Leighton and Macclesfield, ward based, community multi-cubicle locations and community appointment-based clinics. Attention to detail is important, along with basic keyboard skills and applicants should enjoy the challenge of working in a fast-paced patient environment.
Based at Leighton, the successful applicants would be expected to work at various Phlebotomy clinics. You should be able to work independently and as part of a team
It is a requirement of your role that you have access to a vehicle for work purposes, which must be suitable for travelling to community phlebotomy clinics and transporting samples back to the hospital premises. It is your responsibility to ensure that the vehicle is insured for class 1 business use and for the transportation of pathology samples. Expenses will be paid in accordance with Trust policy when you use your vehicle for work purposes.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will be required to collect blood samples from patients using venepuncture and capillary techniques.

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic orthoptist to join our friendly and supportive team of 6 orthoptists as part of a wider multidisciplinary eye clinic. The MKUH ophthalmology department is in a new Community Diagnostic Centre 5 minutes away from the main hospital site within the city centre. It comprises of orthoptic rooms, consulting rooms, optometry rooms, treatment rooms and a theatre. Orthoptists with relevant previous clinical experience will be recruited to band 6, with the opportunity to undertake and develop skills in extended roles (depending on departmental requirements). These specialist areas may include SEN clinics, biometry, intravitreal injections, paediatric ECLO and stroke ward work.New graduate orthoptists are also welcome to apply and will be appointed at band 5 level and work through a clinical skills toolkit to help their career development. Clinical responsibilities
Work autonomously, within professional boundaries, taking sole responsibility for the orthoptic assessment, diagnosis and treatment of patients referred from ophthalmology including booked urgent service, vision screening, paediatrics, stroke, and maxillofacial services. This will include babies, children and adults with varied complexity of medical conditions and neurological disorders.
Assess and diagnose paediatric and adult new and follow up patients. Develop and manage a specialised programme of care appropriate to the needs of the individual patient. This involves using clinical reasoning and a wide range of treatment skills, communicating effectively with patients and parents / carers. Assess understanding and gaining informed consent to the recommended treatment plan. Adhere to any national and local guidelines
Duties include one or more of the following (depending on specific departmental requirements and training):
Carry out A-scan biometry and contact / immersion measurements using specialised equipment. Perform IOP and keratometry measurements and instil eye drops as required. Liaise with the ophthalmologist regarding accurate power selection of intra-ocular lens implant. Take personal responsibility for correct machine calibration and follow guidelines to minimise possible infection risks.
To assist the surgeon with specialised A-scan immersion biometry as part of the MDT team in theatre for patients under GA. This requires taking accurate measurements to assist the surgeon with complex patients with high-risk co-morbidities during cataract surgery.

Rugby Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to work across our 12 GP Practices in the Rugby area, under the supervision of the Practice-based Clinical Pharmacists. You'll join our growing Pharmacy team, to support and ensure the delivery of safe, effective, efficient systems for repeat prescribing and medicine optimisation to reduce medicine waste and maximise patient outcomes.
The successful candidate will be confident working independently, handling the technical administration related to the role, whilst working under appropriate clinical supervision to ensure safe, effective and efficient use of medicines. Job summary
We are welcoming applications for the post of Advanced Psychological Practitioner, working in Mersey Care's Crisis Resolution Home Treatment Team (CRHT).
The post-holder will be an experienced psychological practitioner/psychological therapist with a recognised qualification in an area of psychological practice/therapy.
The postholder will work and be line managed within CRHT and will receive clinical supervision from the Mental Health Urgent Care Psychology Team, with whom they will work closely alongside. Main duties of the job

They will also provide training, supervision, reflective practice, and consultation across MHUC to both non-psychology and psychology colleagues. They will be responsible for a clinical caseload and will receive regular clinical and management supervision.They will work alongside the CRHT multidisciplinary team, and will be required to work autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of the service's policies and procedures. There will be opportunities to contribute to audit, service development and research within MHUC.

Job responsibilities
Following your training as a theatre practitioner you will: Establish a compassionate environment by providing support to patients, families, and friends. Assist surgeons in the delivery of ophthalmic care. Provide scrub support within the theatre, ensuring AfPP good practice guidelines are followed. Prepare clinical areas for daily activities. Manage the admission and discharge of patients on theatre days. Participate in departmental audits. Be proactive, eager to learn, and passionate about delivering high-quality care. Demonstrate effective listening, communication, and interpersonal skills. Thrive in a team-oriented environment.

- To be successful in this role you will need:
- To be a registered practitioner with the NMC or HCPC.
- Ideally previous experience in a clinical or theatre setting, specifically with high-volume procedures.
- A desire to develop and expand your clinical skills through ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
- Ideally prior exposure to patient discharge processes, ensuring effective care transition.
- A passion for delivering excellent patient care and contributing to a positive working environment
- A proactive, flexible approach to teamwork and an eagerness to support service improvement initiatives.
- The ability to remain calm, focused, and responsive in a fast-paced, patient-centred environment.
- Experience in infection prevention and control protocols.
- Knowledge of relevant clinical governance frameworks and CQC standards.
