Frenchay Brain Injury Rehabilitation Centre, part of the Active Care Group, is a modern independent hospital providing an inpatient Level 1 intensive brain injury rehabilitation service (29 NHS England funded beds) for the South West of England and a further 23 slower-stream neuro-rehabilitation beds (Level 2). Both services are managed in partnership with North Bristol NHS Trust.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic and supportive team and develop your skills in neurorehabilitation.
Main duties of the job
ou will be responsible for managing a caseload of patients with complex needs following an acute neurological event such as traumatic and acquired brain injury, or other neurological conditions. You will ideally have clinical experience in the assessment and management of patients experiencing cognitive and physical impairments and subsequent difficulties in function.
The team consists of a Consultant in Rehabilitation Medicine and a Consultant in Neuropsychiatry, Speech and Language Therapists, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, Nurses and Rehabilitation Technicians. Interdisciplinary working is optimised through shared goal setting and treatment opportunities. We pride ourselves on delivering patient-centred, holistic and innovative therapy to promote positive rehabilitation outcomes for our patients.

About us
We are a friendly, supportive team, based in Whalley with a branch site at Sabden, both situated in the beautiful Ribble Valley. We have 5 Partners, 5 Salaried GPs, ANP, a team of Practice Nurses and HCAs, and a large Reception and Admin team. We are a dispensing Practice and have an onsite dispensary at both sites - to give all of our patients a good quality experience at the surgery. We also have a Housebound Nursing Team of nursing professionals who work with our GPs to provide care to our care home and housebound patients.
We have a PCN team who work with our patients, including a Pharmacist, Pharmacy Techs, Care Co-ordinators, GP Assistants, and a Physio. We have a highly productive working relationship with the Practices within our PCN.
The team work well together, making the surgery a harmonious place to work. A healthy work/life balance is encouraged resulting in a content and productive team, and a positive atmosphere.

Job summary
The Abingdon Emergency Multidisciplinary Unit (Abingdon EMU) provides Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC) to patients in the community. This is a full time or part time role minimum of 28.5 hrs per week. working shifts including some weekend working.

- To work autonomously as an Occupational Therapist as part of an MDT to provide holistic SDEC care to unwell patients.
- To prioritise, assess, plan and implement patient specific programmes of care, analysing patient needs and making judgements about best practice contributing to the assessment and treatment of patient to prevent hospital admission.

Are you an experienced HCPC registered Psychologist seeking a new challenge in a brand new pathway?
We're looking for a Senior Clinical or Counselling Psychologistrole within our newly established Intensive Case Management (ICM) Pathway.
This innovative service will provide high-quality, person-centred care to individuals with complex mental health needs who may struggle to engage with traditional services. Operating across Oxford, the team will deliver proactive, flexible support, responding to needs in a timely and coordinated manner.
The Intensive Case Management Pathwayis founded on active engagement rather than office-based care. Staff will work flexibly across the county, supporting individuals in community settings, their homes or Trust premises. Interventions will be tailored, relationship-focused and recovery-oriented, promoting continuity, trust and consistent engagement. Shared caseload responsibility, alongside a key worker model and regular MDT reviews, will enable rapid responses to relapse, risk and disengagement.
We are seeking motivated and compassionate professionals who are committed to supporting some of the most vulnerable people in our communities. You will be confident in managing complexity and dynamic risk, while working within a recovery-focused, trauma-informed framework. Main duties of the job
The Psychologist for the Intensive Case Management (ICM) Pathway provides psychological expertise to support the delivery of high-quality, recovery-focused and evidence-based care for adults with psychosis and complex mental health needs who experience significant challenges in engaging with services.
You will:
- Provide specialist psychological assessments of referred clients based upon the appropriate use, interpretation and integration of complex data from a variety of sources.
- Plan and implement formal psychological treatment and/or management of a client's mental health problems, based upon an appropriate conceptual framework of the client's problems, and employing methods of proven efficacy.
- Implement a range of psychological interventions for individuals, carers, families, and groups, adjusting and refining psychological formulations drawing upon different explanatory models and maintaining a number of provisional hypotheses.
- Contribute to the triage of referrals to the ICM team and consider the appropriate level of treatment.

We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and dynamic B7 Speech and Language Therapist (SLT) to join our acute Speech and Language Therapy team working across both hospital sites. This is a time of change for our provision as our community service moves to another organisation and therefore a time of opportunity to establish this now solely acute service.
This is a development role progressing from a B7 to B8a. Clinical leadership skills are paramount, and support will be given to develop operational management skills. The Essex Integrated Care Board (ICB) is a new organisation formed through the consolidation of three ICB areas in response to the NHSs ambition to deliver a more streamlined, strategic and cost-effective model of health commissioning. The ICB will oversee the commissioning of care for the approximately 2 million people who live in Essex. Operating within a reduced running cost envelope and aligned to the new requirements of ICBs in England, the ICB will focus on improving population health outcomes, health equity and smarter resource allocation.
The Speech and Language Therapy (SLT) Advanced Practitioner is a strategic, population-level clinical leadership role working across education, health and care systems to improve outcomes for children and young people aged 0-25 with speech, language and communication needs (SLCN).
The role will provide advanced clinical leadership across the Essex SEND partnership, working collaboratively with local authorities, Integrated Care Boards, NHS providers, education settings, universities, parent carer forums and professional networks to strengthen the Speech and Language Therapy workforce and increase access to SLT expertise within mainstream education settings. ROLE PURPOSE / SUMMARY
The Essex Integrated Care Board (ICB) is a new organisation formed through the consolidation of three ICB areas in response to the NHSs ambition to deliver a more streamlined, strategic and cost-effective model of health commissioning. The ICB will oversee the commissioning of care for the approximately 2 million people who live in Essex. Operating within a reduced running cost envelope and aligned to the new requirements of ICBs in England, the ICB will focus on improving population health outcomes, health equity and smarter resource allocation.
The Speech and Language Therapy (SLT) Advanced Practitioner is a strategic, population-level clinical leadership role working across education, health and care systems to improve outcomes for children and young people aged 0-25 with speech, language and communication needs (SLCN).
The role will provide advanced clinical leadership across the Essex SEND partnership, working collaboratively with local authorities, Integrated Care Boards, NHS providers, education settings, universities, parent carer forums and professional networks to strengthen the Speech and Language Therapy workforce and increase access to SLT expertise within mainstream education settings. The post is aligned to the NHSE Multi-Professional Framework for Advanced Practice and operates across the four pillars of advanced practice: clinical practice, leadership and management, education, and research.
The post holder will:
- Provide strategic, population-level clinical SLT leadership to improve outcomes for children and young people (0-25) with speech, language and communication needs.
- Strengthen the SLT workforce pipeline across education settings through placements, apprenticeships and supervision capacity.
- Increase access to Speech and Language Therapy expertise within mainstream education settings.
- Support delivery of SEND reform and the Experts at Hand programme across the Essex system.

Job summary
As a Band 6 Bank Speech and Language Therapist, you will provide specialist assessment, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation for adults with communication and swallowing disorders arising from stroke, neurological conditions, neurosurgery, complex medical conditions and long-term health needs. Shifts may be in inpatient or outpatient settings where you will independently manage a specialist caseload while collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, person-centred care. You will use advanced clinical reasoning skills to assess and manage complex communication and dysphagia presentations. You may be involved in supporting videofluoroscopy and FEES assessments, and work with patients with tracheostomies and ventilator dependence depending on your experience and competency development but this is not essential to the role.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and adaptable Band 2 Healthcare Therapy Assistant to join the team at the Stamford Unit. The Stamford Unit Intermediate Centre comprises of 96 beds which are located on the Tameside Hospital site in Ashton-under-Lyne.
You will work unsupervised or distantly supervised by experienced Nurses and Therapists to provide care and support with activities of daily living whilst incorporating rehabilitation to optimise the independence of the patients.
The unit offers a multidisciplinary approach to the rehabilitation of patients who have a wide range of medical conditions and different levels of need. Main duties of the job

Main duties of the job

We are in search of a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join our Children's Community Occupational Therapy team.
As a Band 6 Children's Occupational Therapist you will be responsible for providing a specialist and comprehensive Occupational Therapy service for children 0-18 years and their families, who have a Herefordshire GP, with a focus upon Occupational Performance pathways.
Planning and management of your own caseload and interventions, providing specialist assessment and treatment and referring children to other specialist services as needed.
These interventions will take place in the most relevant environment for the child and their family - the home environment, therapy suite or schools.
We encourage applications from experienced Occupational Therapists from a range of clinical backgrounds. Transferable skills and experience gained in other areas of occupational therapy are highly valued.
Will consider developmental band 5 to band 6 position as appropriate.
Main duties of the job
Whilst working as an autonomous practitioner in the community, within the county of Herefordshire, plan and organise own caseload according to the needs of the children and the service.
To use evidence based standardised and non-standardised assessment tools with children, including observations in the most appropriate settings for the child/young person, in order to establish levels of functional ability and disability and to inform your practice and intervention.
To agree child focused aims, goals and objectives for all OT intervention.
To design individual therapeutic treatment plans, for children to be carried out either by you or delegated to Occupational Therapy support workers, families, carers or school staff.
