Job summary
1 part-time position working 13 hours per week at Basingstoke hospital.
To be a member of the phlebotomy team providing a patient friendly service as required over a 7-day week between the hours of 07:00 and 17:00. Phlebotomists will be expected to provide a helpful and professional service to patients and healthcare staff within the Trust and primary care.
Applications are invited from experienced Phlebotomists to join our team providing a high quality, compassionate care to our patients. We also welcome applications from people with minimal or no Phlebotomy experience providing they have other required attributes. All applicants if successful, unless they are at a standard where they can work in all areas needed, will start on a Band 2 progressing to Band 3 when they are working competently in all areas.
We are looking for individuals with the skill and flexibility to support our services in Outpatients, Trust wards and GP clinics. The successful candidates should be willing to participate in the weekend rota and may be asked cover other sites (Andover and Winchester hospitals) on occasions of unexpected leave/staff shortages.
The individual will be responsible for ensuring that the blood specimens are taken in a manner that does not cause undue anxiety to the patient and that laboratories are provided with timely, high quality blood specimens taken in tubes that are appropriate for the tests requested.
Main duties of the job
Caring for and collecting blood samples from patients who require test as part of their diagnosis and treatment

Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and dynamic B7 Speech and Language Therapist (SLT) to join our acute Speech and Language Therapy team working across both hospital sites. This is a time of change for our provision as our community service moves to another organisation and therefore a time of opportunity to establish this now solely acute service.
This is a development role progressing from a B7 to B8a. Clinical leadership skills are paramount, and support will be given to develop operational management skills. You will be the clinical lead for SLT working at HHFT and part of the progression will be to join the Therapies Leadership Team. You will be offered support and an individualised plan by the one of the Therapies Leadership team to enable you to develop from a B7 to an 8a role.
This role is based at Basingstoke and north Hampshire Hospital, where you will be a clinical team member, but will have cross site working to Royal Hampshire County Hospital in Winchester. Instrumental assessments (both FEES and VFSS) are provided on both sites, for inpatients and community outpatients, and you will be leading on the governance and overall provision of these services.
Main duties of the job

To manage the defined clinical service providing oversight, decision making and accountability and responsibility for delivery of those services.
Demonstrate effective performance management so that impact on/ completion of department, divisional and trust objectives can be shown
Be instrumental as part of the Therapy Senior Management Team in developing the service annual plans (e.g. Operational, capacity and activity) that achieve access and quality targets.
To be responsible for Datix - incidents, PALS concerns or complaints and risks relating to the defined clinical service / services
Line management, including supervision and appraisal of band 7s within the service as well as supporting team members to develop these skills
Provision of clinical leadership in the acute setting at HHFT for people with communication and EDS needs
To work as a clinical specialist in dysphagia, providing highly specialist assessment and advice across the Trust and have responsibility for auditing and maintaining the safe governance of swallow screening and assessment across the Trust
To conduct Videofluroscopy and Fibreoptic endoscopic Examinations of Swallow (FEES) and ensure safe running of these clinics including competency development/ management and service review for governance
To have skills in management of patients with tracheostomy

We are recruiting to two specialist Band 6 roles based at St Thomas' Hospital:
Post 1: Adult Acute Medicine and Surgery: providing assessment and management of adults with acquired communication and swallowing disorders across inpatient medical and surgical wards.
Post 2: Adult Acute Stroke: working within the multidisciplinary stroke team to assess and manage communication and swallowing disorders on the Stroke Unit.
Suitable applicants will have post-graduate experience managing adults with acquired communication and swallowing disorders and be confident working independently within a multidisciplinary environment. Teaching and service development form an important part of both roles.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and adaptable Band 2 Healthcare Therapy Assistant to join the team at the Stamford Unit. The Stamford Unit Intermediate Centre comprises of 96 beds which are located on the Tameside Hospital site in Ashton-under-Lyne.
You will work unsupervised or distantly supervised by experienced Nurses and Therapists to provide care and support with activities of daily living whilst incorporating rehabilitation to optimise the independence of the patients.
The unit offers a multidisciplinary approach to the rehabilitation of patients who have a wide range of medical conditions and different levels of need. Main duties of the job
To aid the care and rehabilitation of patients by undertaking assigned tasks according to set protocols and patient centred care and therapy plans as identified by nursing and/or therapy staff.

The successful candidate will be required to work flexibly as thepost includes shift patterns and 7 day working including bank holidays.

Clinical Lead

We are in search of a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join our Children's Community Occupational Therapy team.

The Care Navigator role is a varied and rewarding role, working for the Waterside PCN which incorporates The Red and Green Practice, Forestside Medical Practice and Waterfront and Solent Surgery. We are seeking a Pharmacy Dispensing Assistant to join our friendly Pharmacy team at Watford General Hospital.

Job summary
Working within Surrey and Sussex Integrated Care Board Primary Care Training Hub (primarily for Sussex), the post-holder will act as the point of contact for specific activities and will be responsible for ensuring operational delivery of NHS England Workforce Training and Education requirements and associated primary care workforce programmes and projects across the health and care system.
This role will also work within a wider matrix to enable workstream leads to connect across Kent Surrey and Sussex, the South East and nationally to reduce variation and duplication as well as learn from other areas as and where required. The Training Hub Locality Workforce Development Lead will cover workstreams covering Surrey and Sussex and/or at a level depending on the needs of the Training Hub.

They will make use of workforce and project data available to understand the needs of the workforce now and in the future to embed recruitment, development and retention strategies that relates to the respective integrated care system (ICS) and Training Hub population health needs.
Main duties of the job
The post-holder will work closely with a range of local stakeholders to support developing the Training Hub agenda within their governance arrangements, enabling existing, and new, workstreams as required by the Surrey & Sussex PCTH programme and activities specific to individual workforce roles.
This will include ICS level programmes of work as agreed with through the respective Primary Care Workforce Implementation Group linked to educational projects, placements and educational support for learners of the current and future workforce.

Main duties of the job
The post is locality team based in Amersham and the Chiltern South Bucks area. Job summary
An opportunity has arisen for a Senor Mental Health Nurse to join our multi disciplinary team.
The Crisis Response Team provide interventions to young people at the point of mental health crisis.
The team provide a 24/7 service which allows for flexibility from a 9-5 working pattern as a Senior Mental Health Practitioner, the post holder will provide high standards of evidence based client centred care to children and young people with mental health [CYPMH] problems within the THRIVE Framework for service delivery.
The post holder will be expected to provide interventions, advice, consultation and supervision to both colleagues and colleagues within external partner agencies in line with THRIVE and clinical competency.
As the post is identified within the CYPMH strategy, it is expected the role will continue to develop in line with national and local initiatives.

Main duties of the job
As our Bank Health Care Assistant within Theatre & Endoscopy, you'll support registered nurses and theatre practitioners in delivering exceptional patient care. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with patient transfers, positioning and comfort
- Supporting theatre teams during procedures as a circulator
- Preparing, cleaning and maintaining theatre and endoscopy areas
- Ensuring equipment and stock levels are maintained
- Supporting infection prevention and control practices
- Assisting with the care and maintenance of endoscopy equipment
- Completing accurate documentation and communicating effectively with colleagues
- Contributing to a positive patient experience while maintaining dignity, respect and confidentiality at all times.
