Job summary
An outstanding individual is sought to fulfil the role of Deputy Training Programme Director - Radiology (East)
The post will be available on the basis of a secondment arrangement to NHS England remunerated on the NHS Consultant Pay Scale - 0.5PA (2 hours per week).
All work undertaken is to be incorporated into the Consultant Job Plan. The role of Deputy Training Programme Director is to work and support the Head of School in leading the delivery of a wide range of functions, aligned to the NHS England mandate.
The Deputy Training Programme Director is professionally and managerially accountable to the Head of School. The Deputy Training Programme Director will focus on improvement of learner supervision, assessment and experience, engagement of faculty and ensuring effective educational outcomes, both now and in the future. The role is evolving and will also focus on whole workforce transformation and developing multi-professional links as well as innovative ways of curriculum delivery and workforce well-being strategies.
To support the Postgraduate Dean, Deputy Training Programme Directors work across the spectrum of health and where relevant, social care, within the context of a team, so that the provision of education reflects changing service models. This will deliver an integrated workforce comprising individuals from a spectrum if professional and other backgrounds.

We are looking for a permanent Band 6 Specialist Speech & Language Therapist to join our Community Childrens Therapy Team in West Essex, covering Uttlesford, Harlow and Epping Forest. This post is based predominantly in the Uttlesford area, however other locations can be considered if required. You will join our award winning Essex Child and Family Wellbeing Service, where we are trail blazing a new integrated partnership model with Barnardos; a model that drives efficiencies so we can put more people in our services, spending time with children and families to improve health outcomes in the local community. Job Introduction
We are looking for a permanent Band 6 Specialist Speech & Language Therapist to join our Community Childrens Therapy Team in West Essex, covering Uttlesford, Harlow and Epping Forest. This post is based predominantly in the Uttlesford area, however other locations can be considered if required.
You will join our award winning Essex Child and Family Wellbeing Service, where we are trail blazing a new integrated partnership model with Barnardos; a model that drives efficiencies so we can put more people in our services, spending time with children and families to improve health outcomes in the local community.
Working in a diverse multidisciplinary team with other dedicated staff, you will benefit from the support of friendly and inclusive colleagues, with access to regular supervision, training and team meetings.
Job Responsibilities
As a Band 6 within our Childrens Speech and Language Therapy Service, you will provide specialist assessment and management of school aged children and young people across community settings and in local specialist educational provisions. You will work closely within the wider Essex Child and Family Wellbeing Service including the Community Nursing Team, the Healthy Family Team, Paediatric Community Dietitian Service, Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy Services and Community Paediatricians as well as external colleagues and partners in Health, Education and Social Care.
The Ideal Candidate
You will have a degree qualification or equivalent in Speech and Language Therapy and post qualification training and experience. You will also be registered with the Health and Care Professionals Council and Royal College of Speech and Language Therapy.
You will have strong communication and organisational skills, and a flexible approach will ensureyou deliver positive experiences to service users at every stage of theirhealthcare journey.

Job summary
We are looking for motivated, enthusiastic and hardworking individuals to join the Pharmacy teams at University Hospital Lewisham and Queen Elizabeth Hospital as Pre-registration Trainee Pharmacy Technician Apprentices. This two-year fixed-term apprenticeship, commencing in February 2027, provides an excellent opportunity to begin a career as a registered Pharmacy Technician. Working alongside pharmacists and other healthcare professionals, you will support the safe and effective use of medicines while gaining experience across a range of pharmacy services. You will undertake a structured training programme leading to the BTEC Level 3 Diploma in the Principles and Practice for Pharmacy Technicians, combining full-time employment with academic study, workplace assessments and portfolio completion. One day each week is dedicated to study, although additional independent learning will be required. Throughout the programme, you will develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours needed to become a registered healthcare professional. On successful completion, you will be eligible to apply for registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council. Applicants must have a minimum of 4 GCSEs at Grade 4/C or above, including English, Maths and one Science subject, and meet apprenticeship funding eligibility requirements. We are unable to offer sponsorship for this post.
Main duties of the job

- Location: Base site will be either Queen Elizabeth Hospital Woolwich or University Hospital Lewisham
You will gain experience across a wide range of pharmacy services through a structured rotational training programme designed to develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours required of a registered pharmacy technician.
Rotations may include: Inpatient dispensary services: Outpatient pharmacy services: Community pharmacy placements: Clinical trials: Ward-based medicines management: Stores and procurement services.
Working as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team, you will support the safe and effective supply and management of medicines while developing your professional, technical and communication skills.

You will play a key role in the clinical provision of services to a varied patient caseload. Therapies are considered an integral part of the Multi-disciplinary team at Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust and as such enjoy MDT working. Respiratory experience will be gained in the following areas
- Critical care
- Respiratory and cardiology wards
- Surgical wards including delivering an ERAS program
- Cystic Fibrosis patients
- Paediatrics
- NIV and optiflow provision on the wards
- Pulmonary Rehabilitation
Main duties of the job
The post offers the opportunity to build on existing clinical knowledge and to grow service development skills in a supportive environment. There will be opportunity to develop your clinical skills via simulation training and sessions with a practice development respiratory physiotherapist.
Candidates should have good clinical reasoning, time management and communication skills. You will be involved in the supervision and teaching of Band 5 physiotherapists, Therapy Assistants and students. The successful candidate would also be expected to contribute to service development within the acute respiratory team which may involve cross site service development.
Continued professional development is encouraged and viewed as integral to providing a quality service for patients. We offer regular supervision, in-service training and actively promote the personal development of all our therapists.7-day working for Therapies is under development within the Trust.

The Brain Injury Clinical Specialist (OT) will work in partnership with team members, service users, DCHS staff, D&D ICB, GP and other agencies to provide effective evidenced based rehabilitation and care to people with Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). Achieved through effective clinical management of own caseload, provision of specialist therapeutic advice to colleagues outside the specialist team, effective delegation, case load management.
Community Caseload: To identify the advanced therapy needs and provide treatment to individuals within the North Derbyshire area. To work flexibly across the area in different care settings providing a patient led service. Co-ordinate referrals to other agencies and to support other therapy staff in neighbouring localities with complex cases as and when required.

To formulate and deliver personal care plans and individual treatment programmes based on sound knowledge of evidence-based practice and treatment options, using clinical assessment, reasoning skills and treatment skills e.g exercise therapy, patient education, cognition assessment, identification and prescribing of specialist equipment, and other techniques as appropriate.
Complex Case Management

We are looking to recruit Clinical Pharmacists who will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team in a patient-facing role in Doncaster North Primary Care Network (PCN). The role will be working within a great team including a senior pharmacist who will provide clinical supervision, four other pharmacists and three pharmacy technicians. The role involves all aspects of pharmacist support including liaison with community pharmacy.

Main duties of the job
We are seeking pharmacists educated to degree level, registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC), possessing a Masters Degree (MPharm) or equivalent.
You will need to be flexible in your approach to work as the role will be working across the three practices in our Primary Care Network, providing pharmacy services, including;
- Optimise the use of medicines
- Support the PCNs with regards to prescription and medication queries
- Improve the safety and quality of prescribing
- Providing support and education to patients on self-management and ensure referral to appropriate healthcare professionals if required
- Implement and manage the repeat prescribing process for practice and patient request

We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Psychologist to join our integrated Mental Healthcare team HMP Wealstun, a category C prison located in Thorpe Arche, that houses around 900 patients ages 21+.
This role would suit an experienced Psychologist familiar with adult mental health presentations, neurodiversity and complex trauma. The applicant must be familiar with trauma informed approaches and working with patients who have a broad range of complex presentations. Main duties of the job
As a qualified, HCPC registered Psychologist, your responsibilities will vary. You will

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Senior OT post based on Sycamore ICU ward within Tamarind Centre.
Tamarind Centre is a 89 bedded male medium secure service in Bordesley Green, Birmingham. The centre provides assessment, treatment and rehabilitation for men who have been assessed as needing care in a medium secure environment and aims to serve the population in central and north Birmingham, as well as offering specialist services for complex, challenging and long term care. Tamarind Centrehas good transport links and is close to rail and motorway networks.
The post holder will work within the established Occupational Therapy team at Tamarind Centre and Sycamore ICU team, supporting service users on admission and during their progression on the unit, delivering comprehensive occupational therapy assessments, formulation and interventions, whilst using evidence-based practise to assist in developing individualised care plans, promoting independence and enhancing functional abilities whilst developing innovative ways to engage service users with complex needs.

Job summary
An opportunity has arisen for a full time Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) position at Newbridge House, female acute impatient ward.
The individual will need to facilitate group activities, 1:1 session and assist and support the qualified Occupational Therapy staff, Nursing Staff and Ward Manager as required. Hours would be varied, working flexibly which meets the needs of the service users.
You will be working as a key member of that team where you will use meaningful activity to promote the health, wellbeing and functional abilities of patients on the ward, as part of their overall multidisciplinary care plan. Main duties of the job
The post holder will be responsible for the delivery and development of clinical pharmacy services within Acute and Emergency Care in liaison with the Pharmacy Team Lead for Integrated Medicine, promoting the safe, effective, and efficient use of medicines. They will:
- Liaise with the relevant senior pharmacy, medical and nursing staff, other allied health professionals (AHPs) and managers to promote safe, evidence-based and cost-effective use of medication.
- Liaise with external health professionals (i.e., community / primary care network pharmacists) and stakeholders across the Integrated Care System (ICS) in streamlining processes and encouraging best practice.
- Provide a clinical pharmacy service to acute wards including specialist advice and participation on ward rounds and multidisciplinary team (MDT) reviews.
- Practice as an independent prescriber within agreed therapeutic areas, in accordance with the BHT Non-Medical Prescribing policy.
- Provide pharmacy leadership to the Integrated Medicine directorate, deputising for the Pharmacy Team Lead for Integrated Medicine as necessary.
- Demonstrate strong digital literacy and effectively utilise electronic prescribing and medicines administration (ePMA) and other digital clinical systems to support safe prescribing, medicines optimisation and service improvements.

Job summary
The Band 7 Mental Health Liaison Team (MHLT) Bank Practitioner provides specialist mental health assessment, risk management and intervention for patients presenting to the Emergency Department (ED) and Acute Medical Unit (AMU). Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, the post holder will deliver high-quality, patient-centered mental health care to individuals experiencing acute mental illness, self-harm, suicidal ideation, behavioural disturbance, substance misuse, dementia, delirium and complex psychosocial crises.
As a senior clinician within the Mental Health Liaison Team, the post holder will provide expert mental health assessment, formulation and care planning for patients with complex presentations. They will work collaboratively with acute hospital colleagues and external partners to ensure patients receive timely assessment, appropriate treatment and onward referral to the most suitable services.
The post holder will support the day-to-day operational delivery of the liaison service during bank shifts, providing clinical leadership, advice and guidance to colleagues where required, whilst maintaining high standards of clinical practice, documentation and risk management.
The role requires a practitioner who can work autonomously within a fast-paced acute hospital environment, demonstrate sound clinical judgement and effectively manage competing priorities.
Main duties of the job
- Undertake comprehensive mental health and psychosocial assessments for patients presenting to ED and AMU.
- Assess, formulate and manage risk relating to self-harm, suicide, mental illness, behavioural disturbance and vulnerability.
- Develop and implement appropriate care and risk management plans.
- Provide specialist advice and consultation to acute hospital staff regarding the assessment and management of patients with mental health needs.
- Support decision-making regarding admission, discharge and appropriate onward referral pathways.
- Liaise effectively with community mental health teams, crisis services, primary care, social care, safeguarding teams and other partner agencies.
- Facilitate safe and effective patient flow through the acute hospital by supporting timely assessment and discharge planning.
