Job summary
The Urgent Care CSU have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, highly motivated and organised individual who enjoys the challenge of working in an environment where no two days are the same, to join the Emergency Department Administration Management Team.
The successful candidate will act as the first-line manager for a team of clerical staff, providing effective day-to-day supervision and ensuring a professional, efficient and welcoming service across the Emergency Department Reception and Ward Clerk teams.
Main duties of the job
Key responsibilities will include monitoring staffing and stock levels to ensure service demands are met, supervising and supporting clerical staff, and providing training in all aspects of patient administration and customer service.
The post holder will work closely with medical, nursing and administrative colleagues across the Urgent Care service to ensure the smooth and effective delivery of front-of-house and administrative services. The Emergency Department Reception and Ward Clerk service operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The successful applicant will therefore be required to work across both Emergency Departments at Leeds General Infirmary (LGI) and St Jamess University Hospital (SJUH), covering all aspects of the adults and paediatric Emergency Departments.
The role will involve working Monday to Sunday as part of a shift-based rota.The ability and willingness to work across both sites is essential.
Flexibility is an important requirement of the role. Where necessary, the post holder will be expected to provide additional cover to meet the needs of the service, including working weekends and Bank Holidays and responding to short-notice staffing requirements arising from sickness or emergency annual leave.

Main duties of the job

We are seeking an enthusiastic Radiographer to join our friendly team. You will be required to work at Preston Hospital & at the new Community Diagnostic Centre and may occasionally be required to work at Chorley Hospital.
Ideally, you will have prior CT experience, but training will be provided to suitable & motivated candidates.
Within the trust we have 4 static scanners and a mobile scanner. We also have a PMCT scanner. If desired, there is the possibility of gaining experience in the PMCT department.
We undertake a variety of scans including major trauma, neurosurgical, oncology, vascular, cardiac and colonography.
We actively promote role development and CPD by encouraging staff to undertake post graduate courses and further training.
The department operates 24/7 & we require candidates to be flexible to meet the needs of the department. Current working patterns include long days, weekends and night shifts.

As a Biomedical Scientist, you are an integral part of the team; responsible for identifying pathogens which cause disease.
We provide the information that medical staff use to determine appropriate treatment options to help our patients quickly and effectively. As well as this, you would be involved with the maintenance and troubleshooting of various automated systems including Virtuo, UF5000, MALDI-TOF, and Genetic Signatures analyser.

Shifts from 4.30pm to 8pm, Monday to Friday. There will be a requirement to work across Royal Preston Hospital, Chorley Hospital and Preston Healthport.
Our booking services Clerical officers are the first friendly faces our patients will see on reception when attending the imaging department and your friendly and approachable manner will be key to providing a professional and courteous service to all visitors and staff. So what does a day in the life of a clerical officer look like? You will be performing an ambassadorial role, representing the department and the Trust as a 'front of house' reception service. Paediatric Dietician, Band 7 (17 hours per week)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and self motivated Advanced Paediatric Dietician to join our Diabetes team at Ormskirk Hospital. Part of Mersey and West Lancashire NHS Trust. A number of hours will be allocated to support children with Eating Disorders on the Children's Ward.
If you are a motivated,flexible and forward-thinking experienced Paediatric Dietician who is ready to advance their professional and clinical development in a more senior role we would love to hear from you.
The team is based at the hospital and provides a comprehensive service to children with Diabetes on the Paediatric Ward, Out patient Department and at home.
UK driving licence and access to a car are required for this post.
Main duties of the job
- To lead the dietetic service and provide a high quality, evidence based up to date nutrition and dietetic service to highly specialised clinical areas of paediatrics including diabetes requiring an advanced level of knowledge, skills and experience at a range of locations in Southport and Ormskirk NHS Hospitals including in-patients, dietetic out-patients, dietetic community clinics as well as MDT clinics.
- To lead policy development, education and training of other health professionals on matters of child nutrition
- To work as a member of the paediatric diabetes multidisciplinary team to develop and enhance the dietetic service for paediatric patients with diabetes in line with tariff arrangements

Job summary
The Pharmacy Department at Barts Health is one of the largest in the country and covers a population of 2.5 million. We provide clinical pharmacy and medicines optimisation services from our five hospital sites across the City of London, East and Northeast London.
An opportunity has arisen to join our team in the Medicines Procurement and Distribution Department as a Senior Pharmacy Assistant (SATO)
Main duties of the job
The post holder will assist in the supply of medicinal items in the Medicines Distribution Unit (MDU) to all wards and departments across Barts Health. The role will also include supporting procurement activities, receipt of stock from suppliers, and maintaining stock control systems including the Pharmacy Robot. In addition, the post holder will supervise the ATOs and rotational staff working in MDU.
Candidates must possess a minimum functional skills qualification in English and maths and a Level 2 in Pharmacy services. Experience of supervising a team and of working in a healthcare environment would be desirable but not essential as training would be provided. The successful candidate will be a good communicator, flexible, adaptable, and organised.

We are seeking an exceptional individual to join us as an Associate Non-Executive Member for Audit and Governance, working in a joint role across two statutory Boards.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the Board-level leadership and governance of two Integrated Care Boards (ICBs), working together to commission healthcare services for the populations of Coventry, Herefordshire, Warwickshire and Worcestershire with a view to improving health outcomes, reducing inequalities and ensuring the effective stewardship of public resources. The Associate Non-Executive Member will support robust governance and assurance through membership of the two Audit Committees working in common and attendance at Board meetings and development sessions.

The Associate NEM acts as a member of the ICBs Audit Committees which meet in common and may undertake roles on other committees or sub-committees of the ICBs. They are expected to attend meetings of the Boards and Board development sessions.
The Associate NEM will:

The Associate NEM acts as a member of the ICBs Audit Committees which meet in common and may undertake roles on other committees or sub-committees of the ICBs. They are expected to attend meetings of the Boards and Board development sessions.
The Associate NEM will:
Work collaboratively to shape the long-term, viable plan for the delivery of the functions, duties and objectives of the ICBs and the ICB cluster and for the stewardship of public money.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone interested in working in both a training and digital healthcare role to support our Electronic Health Record (Epic) system which went live in April 2019.
We are looking for a skilled, experienced and enthusiastic Deputy Training Manager to join our innovative Epic Training & Adoption team. This position is to cover maternity leave of the existing post holder.
