Job summary
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a Specialist Team of Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists providing wheelchair assessment and prescription, and postural management advice to children, young people and adults in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.This post will suit both Occupational Therapist and Physiotherapist looking to enhance their skills in postural management in a community setting.
Due to the nature of the role, it is essential you are able to travel independently on a daily basis to and from the base, patient's homes and other venues around the geographical area, which may not be accessible by public transport.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will be required to participate in the delivery of the countywide Wheelchair Service providing standard and specialist assessments and advice to clients including those who often present with complex needs. Assessment clinics are situated in Hayle, Truro and Liskeard with travel to place of residence required in some circumstances.To contribute to clinical governance and service development within the Wheelchair Service in partnership with professional specialists, the Clinical Lead and Wheelchair Service Team Lead.

Job summary
Working as a champion for the allied health professions (AHP) support workforce, the post holder will develop and deliver a range of activities to enable learning, development, and progression for the AHP support workforce.
It is a collaborative role between the AHP Leadership team and organisational development. The post holder will lead on a programme of work to develop the support worker role across the AHP professions in both Trusts.
The role will involve research, networking (internal and external) to deliver key workstreams around: competency development, enhancing the scope of practice, education, and development opportunities. Supporting the continued implementation of the AHP support worker framework.
The post holder will establish and maintain strong and effective partnerships and stakeholder relationships across local, regional, and national networks.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will further develop the AHP support worker networks, building engagement and inform the development of AHP support worker careers.

Job summary
The post holder will provide strategic leadership and operational management for designated services, ensuring delivery against Trust objectives, performance targets, quality standards, and financial requirements. Working closely with a range of stakeholders, they will support Team Managers and Team Leaders to achieve operational, safety, quality, and performance goals.
The role carries operational responsibility for multidisciplinary teams across North & East Cornwall, Central Cornwall, West Cornwall, and the Isles of Scilly, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based care, support, advice, and interventions for service users and carers with health and social care needs.
The post holder will lead service development and continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring effective practice and high standards of care. Working in partnership with the Director of Adult Community Services, they will support financial sustainability while maintaining quality and safety requirements.
In collaboration with Team Managers, Service Leads, and Professional Leads, the post holder will oversee multiple complex teams, ensuring appropriate skill mix, workforce effectiveness, and achievement of quality and performance standards. They will also deputise for the Director of Adult Community Services, Learning Disability & Autism Intensive Support, when required.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will provide strategic, operational and clinical leadership across Adult Community Services, ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, high-quality, patient-centred care that meets national standards, regulatory requirements and Trust objectives. They will be responsible for leading multidisciplinary teams, driving service improvement and transformation, managing performance, quality, governance and risk, and ensuring effective workforce planning, supervision and professional development. The role includes responsibility for budget management, patient flow, safeguarding, information governance and compliance with Trust policies and procedures. Working closely with internal and external partners, the post holder will represent the service at senior meetings, contribute to organisational and system-wide developments, present reports to Trust committees and boards, and support the implementation of strategic priorities. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and experienced Therapy Support Worker to join the North Cornwall Community Rehabilitation Therapy Team based at Carew House in Bodmin.This post will be a generic post working across Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy so we are looking for a candidate who has experience at a Band 4 level in both of these areas, however this a supportive learning environment and we will help you to develop in both areas with competencies, our monthly in service training, and working jointly with our experienced therapists and support workers. Main duties of the job
Under the guidance of the Occupational Therapists/Physiotherapists you will be responsible for the assessment, treatment and discharge planning of patients within your care. You will need to assist in the interpretation of information relevant to the patient's condition/progress, identify problems and patient needs, setting realistic goals.You will need to have excellent organisational skills combined with experience of working in older person's services. You will need a valid UK driving licence and the ability to travel to different locations to facilitate hospital discharges.We are a supportive team, including OTs / PTs and support workers with excellent MDT working with other disciplines. We offer a friendly , supportive working environment where you can develop your clinical and interpersonal skills. CPD is actively encouraged and supported through regular supervision/appraisal and training.

Main duties of the job

Main duties of the job
Mechanical engineering bias with an element of electrical engineering.

To manufacture, assemble, erect and install new work
