Job summary
Join our Information Governance (IG) team as an Information Governance and Records Manager and play an important role in supporting the Trust to manage information safely, lawfully and effectively.
Working closely with the Head and Deputy Head of Information Governance, you will contribute to the delivery of IG strategies, policies and compliance across Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust.
This is a varied role with the opportunity to:

Support data protection audits and the annual Data Security and Protection Toolkit requirements.

Provide advice on information governance matters, including information sharing, contracts and Data Protection Impact Assessments.
-
Promote good records management and support staff through training and guidance.
-
Coordinate agendas, reports and minutes for key Information Governance and Information Asset Group meetings.
-
Help ensure the Trust meets relevant legislation, national guidance and best practice.
-
Lead the Trust-wide archiving service, ensuring records are appropriately retained, archived or securely destroyed.
You will work collaboratively with colleagues across the Trust and help strengthen a culture of good information governance and records management.

Main duties of the job
As Information Governance and Records Manager, you will support the effective management of information and records across the Trust.
Key responsibilities include:

Supporting the Head of Information Governance and Data Protection Officer with IG strategies, policies, compliance and assurance.

Advising on relevant requirements, including UK GDPR, Data Protection Act 2018, Access to Health Records Act 1990, Freedom of Information Act 2000, Environmental Information Regulations, confidentiality, Caldicott principles and records management guidance.

Supporting data protection audits and the Data Security and Protection Toolkit.
-
Providing timely advice on information governance queries, including contracts, information sharing and transfer agreements, service mobilisations and demobilisations, and Data Protection Impact Assessments.
-
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date Data Protection Impact Assessments and the FOI Publication Scheme.
-
Supporting records management training and raising awareness of good practice.

Coordinating information governance meetings, including agendas, reports and minutes.
-
Managing the Trust-wide archiving service, including identifying and appraising records, preparing records for archiving and ensuring appropriate destruction in line with national guidance.

Being a Band 6 Sister/ Charge Nurse on AAU involves taking charge of the shift and being able to effectively co-ordinate the team of RN's, CSW's, TNA's etc. to maintain a safe working environment for both staff and patients whilst for filling your duties and responsibilities as a Sister/ Charge Nurse (details in Detailed job description and main responsibilities)
Patient safety and quality of care is our top priority and this will need to be in the forefront of the successful applicants working mind. Examples of this would look like: continuous risk assessments of the patients and overall view of the ward and problem solve where issues arise. This could be for our patients with Mental health issues, cognitive impairment/ dementia or our vulnerable patients. Mitigating risks and having full oversite of the ward is imperative to the safety and high standard of care that we deliver for our patients.
In addition, the Sister/ Charge Nurse is also to deputise for the manager in their absence. This will involve communicating to different departments such as: Site team, Matron, Deputy Head of Nursing, Medical team, PLS and much more.
Further more, Brainstorming, service improvement and regular team meetings with the manager to continually develop, improve and excel our service is something that will be encouraged and desired!

The Assistant Practitioner will work as an integral member of the Musculoskeletal (MSK) Physiotherapy Team in Rotherham, supporting Physiotherapists in the assessment, treatment and rehabilitation of patients presenting with a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions.

Support Physiotherapists in the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred MSK rehabilitation.
Undertake delegated assessments and interventions appropriate to the individual's competence and scope of practice.
Deliver and progress therapeutic exercise programmes, both individually and within group settings where appropriate.
Provide patients with education and advice regarding exercise, activity, self-management and appropriate management of their condition.
Monitor patient progress and provide feedback to the supervising Physiotherapist.
Recognise when a patient's presentation or progress falls outside the Assistant Practitioner's scope of practice and seek appropriate clinical support.
Maintain accurate, timely and confidential clinical documentation in accordance with local policies and professional standards.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Practitioner Psychologist (Clinical, Counselling or Health) to join our Clinical Health Psychology Service, working within our specialist Chronic Pain Service.

The Role
As a Practitioner Psychologist within the Chronic Pain Service, you will provide specialist psychological assessment, formulation and intervention for people living with chronic pain and its associated psychological, emotional and functional impact.

An exciting opportunity exists for an individual with experience in rehabilitation to take on the role of senior therapy assistant within the Medical / Frailty therapy team.

Main duties of the job

The role of an Admissions Officer is to arrange and manage the admission dates for patient having an elective procedure. This covers the end-to-end process from the point that a clinician decides to add a patient to a surgical waiting list, through to the patient being admitted to hospital.
