Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled and motivated PET CT Radiographer/Technologist to join our Team at
The successful candidate will have either HCPC or an equivalent voluntary registration, you should have a background in Nuclear Medicine, preferably with experience of PET-CT, and be experienced in handling and dispensing radiopharmaceuticals. A high level of competency in cannulation is preferable.
A candidate with significant experience working as a Radiographer will also be considered as training in PET-CT can be provided.
You should have a patient-focused attitude to ensure patient care is delivered to the highest standards of quality and efficiency. We are looking for a flexible, adaptable team player who has excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Main duties of the job
You will undertake a competency programme in PET-CT to develop your knowledge and help you gain a full understanding of PET-CT. Training will be delivered "On the Job" and in collaboration with the Christie School of Oncology via the PET-CT training academy. You will also be required to IV cannulate patients as part of the role. Rest assured, should you not have any prior experience in IV cannulation, Alliance Medical will provide full training.

As a Speech and Language Therapy Assistant you will be joining The Dorset Community Adult Speech and Language Therapy service that is supportive and dynamic. You will be responsible for supporting patients and the service across Shelley Road and Alderney Hospital sites. We welcome ideas of change that could contribute to creating a better service for people living with acquired communication and swallowing difficulties.
You will be supported by Speech and Language Therapists including a team manager and clinical manager. You will have the opportunity to work with SLT assistant's and local adult acute SLT teams and the paediatric SLT community team is available to enable development. We offer CPD opportunities, regular supervision and peer supervision.
We could be flexible with how the hours are met over the working days, as long as the services needs are met. We embrace flexible working and we support a hybrid model of working from home as well as the office.

Main duties of the job
To work as part of the Speech and Language Therapy team in provision of high quality person centred rehabilitation & support to adults with acquired communication and swallowing difficulties.
Following direction from qualified clinicians work independently to implement planned treatment interventions and assist in the development of programmes of care.
To provide confidential administration, secretarial and IT support to the Community Speech and Language Therapy Service.
To take responsibility for the maintenance and preparation of the communication aids used within the service.
Employment in this post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Trust will cover the cost of.

The collection of quality blood samples from patients is vital in many medical investigations. The successful applicants must enjoy working with people and possess good communication skills.
We offer Phlebotomy services in a range of locations across North Midlands including Leighton and Macclesfield, ward based, community multi-cubicle locations and community appointment-based clinics. Attention to detail is important, along with basic keyboard skills and applicants should enjoy the challenge of working in a fast-paced patient environment.
Based at Leighton, the successful applicants would be expected to work at various Phlebotomy clinics. You should be able to work independently and as part of a team
It is a requirement of your role that you have access to a vehicle for work purposes, which must be suitable for travelling to community phlebotomy clinics and transporting samples back to the hospital premises. It is your responsibility to ensure that the vehicle is insured for class 1 business use and for the transportation of pathology samples. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic orthoptist to join our friendly and supportive team of 6 orthoptists as part of a wider multidisciplinary eye clinic. The MKUH ophthalmology department is in a new Community Diagnostic Centre 5 minutes away from the main hospital site within the city centre. It comprises of orthoptic rooms, consulting rooms, optometry rooms, treatment rooms and a theatre. Orthoptists with relevant previous clinical experience will be recruited to band 6, with the opportunity to undertake and develop skills in extended roles (depending on departmental requirements). These specialist areas may include SEN clinics, biometry, intravitreal injections, paediatric ECLO and stroke ward work.New graduate orthoptists are also welcome to apply and will be appointed at band 5 level and work through a clinical skills toolkit to help their career development. The department has supported and mentored new graduates who benefit from our preceptorship scheme which has enabled them to develop to a band 6 role. Clinical responsibilities
Work autonomously, within professional boundaries, taking sole responsibility for the orthoptic assessment, diagnosis and treatment of patients referred from ophthalmology including booked urgent service, vision screening, paediatrics, stroke, and maxillofacial services. This will include babies, children and adults with varied complexity of medical conditions and neurological disorders.
Assess and diagnose paediatric and adult new and follow up patients. Develop and manage a specialised programme of care appropriate to the needs of the individual patient. This involves using clinical reasoning and a wide range of treatment skills, communicating effectively with patients and parents / carers. Assess understanding and gaining informed consent to the recommended treatment plan. Adhere to any national and local guidelines
Duties include one or more of the following (depending on specific departmental requirements and training):
Carry out A-scan biometry and contact / immersion measurements using specialised equipment. Perform IOP and keratometry measurements and instil eye drops as required. Liaise with the ophthalmologist regarding accurate power selection of intra-ocular lens implant. Take personal responsibility for correct machine calibration and follow guidelines to minimise possible infection risks.
To assist the surgeon with specialised A-scan immersion biometry as part of the MDT team in theatre for patients under GA. This requires taking accurate measurements to assist the surgeon with complex patients with high-risk co-morbidities during cataract surgery.

Rugby Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to work across our 12 GP Practices in the Rugby area, under the supervision of the Practice-based Clinical Pharmacists. You'll join our growing Pharmacy team, to support and ensure the delivery of safe, effective, efficient systems for repeat prescribing and medicine optimisation to reduce medicine waste and maximise patient outcomes.
The successful candidate will be confident working independently, handling the technical administration related to the role, whilst working under appropriate clinical supervision to ensure safe, effective and efficient use of medicines. You will be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) and enrolled in, undertaking or qualified from, an approved training pathway i.e. CPPE Primary care Education Pathway training unless otherwise exempt.
The role is 100% practice-based,and the successful candidate will demonstrate innovative ideas, excellent communication skills, enthusiasm and motivation. You will be patient-facing, dealing with daily medication requests and queries, communicating with patients and Community Pharmacies and with responsibility for encouraging the development of better understanding of the principles of medicines optimisation throughout the practice teams, promoting good practice in line with therapeutic developments. You will assist the Practices in achieving national requirements, NICE implementation and utilisation of medicines optimisation initiatives.
Main duties of the job
This position is available on either a full-time or part-time basis. For part-time candidates, a minimum commitment of 3 days per week is required, with a fixed work pattern of Monday to Wednesday inclusive.
Duties include:
Undertake patient facing and patient supporting roles to ensure effective medicines use
Carry out medicines optimisation tasks including effective medicine administration (e.g. checking inhaler technique), supporting medication reviews, and medicines reconciliation. Where required, utilise consultation skills to work in partnership with patients to ensure they use their medicines effectively;
Support, as determined by the PCN, medication reviews and medicines reconciliation for new care home patients and synchronising medicines for patient transfers between care settings and linking with local community pharmacists.
Provide specialist expertise, where competent, to address both the public health and social care needs of patients, including lifestyle advice, service information, and help in tackling local health inequalities; e. take a central role in the clinical aspects of shared care protocols and liaising with specialist pharmacists for more complex patients;

Job summary
We are welcoming applications for the post of Advanced Psychological Practitioner, working in Mersey Care's Crisis Resolution Home Treatment Team (CRHT).
The post-holder will be an experienced psychological practitioner/psychological therapist with a recognised qualification in an area of psychological practice/therapy.
The postholder will work and be line managed within CRHT and will receive clinical supervision from the Mental Health Urgent Care Psychology Team, with whom they will work closely alongside. The focus of the role will be to provide psychological assessment, formulation, and intervention for patients in crisis, supporting the MHUC intervention pathways. There will also be opportunities to deliver training on psychological concepts, supervise others, and provide consultation for practitioners across MHUC.
Main duties of the job
The postholder will provide crisis-focused assessment, formulation, and brief intervention for patients currently under CRHT. They will also provide training, supervision, reflective practice, and consultation across MHUC to both non-psychology and psychology colleagues. They will be responsible for a clinical caseload and will receive regular clinical and management supervision.They will work alongside the CRHT multidisciplinary team, and will be required to work autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of the service's policies and procedures. There will be opportunities to contribute to audit, service development and research within MHUC.
Training and development is key in both CRHT and the MHUC Psychology Team, with recent training accessed by staff including, CFT, reflective practice skills, CAT, and DBT skills.

Main duties of the job
Vehicle Preparation Operatives process ambulances in a prescribed and controlled way that ensures each ambulance is ready to treat patients. The role is a key operational support function which ensures patient safety whilst supporting Operations in meeting its targets. Main duties include detailed cleaning and infection prevention & control activities, checking and inspecting medical devices, restocking consumables, refuelling and driving vehicles across various locations. We are seeking to further grow and develop our service and are looking for committed people to work at our Exeter Main Operating Base. We have a range of both full time (average 37.5 hours per week) and part time hours working a variety of shifts across a 24 hour, 7-day period including days, lates, nights, weekends and bank holidays. Unsocial hours payments will be applicable in addition to the basic salary for night and weekend working which are as follows:
£11.45 per hour base salary.
£16.14 per hour working nights and Saturdays.
£20.95 per hour working Sunday and bank holidays.
£17.83 per hour working any overtime.
The role requires post holders to hold a current full driving licence. C1 category is preferred.

This is a 12 month, fixed term post, with a 15 hour work week, which can be worked flexibly, based at OSL House, LE19 1XU. The post sits within our award-winning Homeless Mental Health Service (HMHS) supporting a Public Health initiative to reach those who are rough sleeping with substance use difficulties within the City.
This role is expected to include some street outreach work and clinical work in venues where those experiencing homelessness feel comfortable (e.g. frequently from city centre hostels and day centres). The health and wellbeing of our team members is very important to us and we offer a robust induction period, as well as regular supervision and support.

Main duties of the job
You will work alongside two established 8b Clinical Psychologists who will offer regular clinical supervision, line management and ad-hoc support. You will offer specialist assessment, formulation and intervention to service-users. Indirect work will include reflective practice and psychologically-informed training and supervising others.
You will play a key role in service development, including in further nurturing a psychologically-informed service culture.
The post offers the opportunity to develop leadership qualities and a substantial part of the indirect work will be multi-agency partnership working. Crucially, these services view the difficulties faced by service-users within the socio-political context of their lives and you will be able to develop this aspect of your psychology praxis.
We have strong links to the University of Leicester DClinPsy course; offering teaching sessions, trainee placements and input to the development of the curriculum. Our service is also part of a network of LPT clinical psychologists representing adult mental health, child, learning disability, neuropsychology, health psychology and forensic mental health, and you will be encouraged to be a part of this forum. We have brand new opportunities for Healthcare Assistants to join our mobile team at multiple sites nationwide.

It is an exciting time for The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre, having recently expanded our regional haemato-oncology footprint to our Clatterbridge-Aintree site. We are expanding our ATIMP profile and are commissioned to delivery CAR-T therapy. These developments has provided an exciting opportunity for an Advanced Pharmacist in Haemato-oncology and is an important position within our large, diverse and friendly pharmacy team. The haemato-oncology clinical service includes inpatient and outpatient chemotherapy for patients with a variety of haemto-oncology conditions including bone marrow transplant, as well as pharmacist-led prescribing clinics for patients with myeloproliferative disorders, lymphoma and myeloma.
You will liaise with aseptic services, medicines safety and medicines optimisation leads regarding haemato-oncology matters and train junior and rotational pharmacists when required.
Prior haematology experience is desired but not essential.
Main duties of the job
In this role, you will work with other Advanced Haematology Pharmacists and Medicines Management Technicians as the pharmaceutical experts in haematological malignancies and be responsible for introducing new cancer medicines into practice for this area.
- Provide clinical, professional and technical expertise to support the delivery, development and monitoring of high quality patient focused pharmacy services to haemato-oncology patients
- Provide a highly specialised clinical pharmacy service to cancer services.

Our unique rotational programme covers a depth and breadth of Physiotherapy Experience including opportunities to work with the musculoskeletal team, Hospital in-patients, community and Mental Health Services.
The post holder will gain a balance of clinic, community and hospital-based caseloads. You will be required to work on a 6-month rotating basis.
You will work as part of a wider integrated team and will receive regular appraisal, training and clinical supervision as part of the preceptorship programme.
Main duties of the job
A physiotherapist participates as a member of the Physiotherapy Team managing a clinical caseload with the support and guidance of Senior Physiotherapists. The post holder will have no budgetary responsibility but may be expected to supervise physiotherapy assistants on a day to day basis.
This role offers physiotherapy assessments and interventions to Service Users in a rotation programme through various clinical specialities, including Musculoskeletal outpatients, stroke, neurology, medical services, rehabilitation and mental health, which are designed to consolidate their undergraduate clinical education and develop their independent clinical practice.

Nuffield Health Exeter Hospital The Exeter Nuffield hospital is based next to the NHS RD&E hospital in Wonford, Exeter. Exeter is a vibrant cathedral city in the heart of the beautiful county of Devon, situated on the river exe and only 10 miles from the coast.
