Job summary
An opportunity has arisen for an Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team to support patients admitted to hospital for Orthopaedic procedures. This role includes a combination of elective and trauma work.
This post will entail some cross-site working between King George Hospital in Ilford and Queens Hospital in Romford. It is currently a part-time role however there may be scope for these hours to increase in the future.
This post would suit someone with acute healthcare experience, strong communication and time management skills. The focus within BHRUT is on early intervention and discharge planning therefore rapid and confident decision-making skills is essential. Experience of working with early discharge services such as HomeFirst would be an advantage.
In line with the Government agenda for the NHS and in order to provide high quality care we provide a 7-day service and are looking for a person who will enjoy the benefits of this pattern.

Main duties of the job
To provide skilled routine, and non-routine, clinical and non-clinical support to the Occupational Therapy team and any other professional such as Physiotherapists and clerical staff associated with the team
To accept patients allocated by the Occupational Therapist, assess and treat according to protocols and guidelines. To monitor patient progression, and make alternations to intervention as required
To work independently, with access to direct supervision as required. To maintain close communication with the Occupational Therapist/team to facilitate patient care
To organise and participate in the Occupational Therapy Assistant and team/departmental induction and in-service training programmes. To contribute to in-service training to Occupational Therapy team colleagues.
To carry out other duties deemed necessary by the Clinical Lead/Clinical Specialist in discussion with the post holder to ensure adequate provision of service.
The qualified therapists within the team will remain responsible for:o Allocation of patients for assessment/interventiono Overseeing the clinical quality and ensuring appropriateness of the intervention practised with the patient

An exciting opportunity has arose for a band 3 rehabilitation assistant to join Workington ICC. The successful candidate will be based with Workington Community Rehabilitation team.

Main duties of the job
A rehabilitation assistant in a multi-disciplinary team is expected to work with other health and social care professionals to develop the ethos of multi-disciplinary, integrated care and seamless services ensuring that patient care is delivered to the highest possible standard.As a rehabilitation assistant reporting to a registered health professional, the post holder will implement rehabilitation plans for patients in the community and other settings, observe the patient's condition, providing direct care with a rehabilitation and therapy focus. This may include supporting patients with personal hygiene and activities of daily living.
Flexible working will be required to meet the needs of the patient group.
The ability to work over 7 days is a requirement of the post. The hours of work will be on a rota covering a shift pattern between the hours of 8.00 a.m. and 6:30 p.m.

The Senior Specialist Engineer - Networks, is a senior technical role responsible for delivering and maintaining excellence across the network infrastructure estate. Florence Nightingale Hospice is a 10 bedded unit located in the grounds of Stoke Mandeville Hospital.
The post holder will display a compassionate, empathic approach to the delivery of care to patients admitted for symptom control, review and reassessment and end of life care, providing emotional support to families and carers. Active listening skills and good communication skills are an important aspect of this role, along with the ability to remain calm and resilient under emotional pressure.
Main duties of the job
To provide nursing care to patients receiving Palliative Care under the delegation and supervision of a registered nurse.
We provide a 24/7 service at Florence Nightingale Hospice, and the post holder will be rostered to cover long-days, nights, weekend and bank holiday shifts.

Job summary
We are seeking to appoint an Assistant Psychologist (0.4 WTE) in Brighter Futures (BF) Clinical Psychology Service. BF Clinical Psychology Service is a team of clinical psychologists embedded across statutory children's services including children looked after, leaving care, adoption and safeguarding/child protection.
The Assistant Psychologist role is primarily focused on enabling and supporting the team to deliver psychological services to children, young people and families who are supported by Children's Social Care Services in Ealing. This involves mainly indirect and supportive work, such as service development, evaluation, resource creation and gathering feedback, rather than direct clinical activity.
The post holder will receive regular clinical supervision from a clinical psychologist and have the opportunity to develop skills in both indirect and direct work in a supportive and specialist setting. They will also have access to training to support them in their role.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will support the team with service development, evaluation, quality improvement and routine outcome monitoring. This may include helping to develop and refine resources and training materials, supporting the collection and organisation of feedback and data from social care colleagues and foster carers, contributing to simple audits and service-user involvement and co-production activities. There is some limited opportunity for direct clinical work under supervision, such as co-delivering groups and assisting with assessments.
We are looking for someone organised and reliable, clear in their written communication, comfortable gathering and summarising feedback, interested in evaluation and service improvement and able to work collaboratively. An interest in the needs of children and families involve with Children's Social Care would be an advantage.

The postholder will support the Team Leader to provide clinical leadership and first line management for The Specialist Perinatal Community Mental Health Team, working within East Lancashire and Blackburn with Darwen.
The SPCMHT aspires to provide an excellent comprehensive Perinatal Mental Health Service for the women of Lancashire and South Cumbria. We deliver a sustainable and resilient solution for women suffering from a mental illness in the perinatal period by focusing on improving outcomes for them, their infant and their families. We do this by effective multidisciplinary integrated team working and ensuring effective prevention that responds to local need by:
o Intervening earlier to at preconception, during pregnancy and up to 2 years following deliveryo On-going training of professionals from multiple disciplineso Improving pathways and processes for mothers, their families and professionalso Delivering a multi-disciplinary specialist perinatal mental health service to woman who present with severe/complex mental health needs, in accordance with CR197 staffing recommendations and delivery of NICE recommended intervention.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will work with the Team Leader and other senior clinicians, supporting the delivery of a high quality and high performing team to a defined population.

To ensure that staff in the team have opportunities for continuing professional development, in order to provide best practice and meet the requirements of registering bodies, and to drive improvements in standards of clinical practice and patient care in line with the NHS modernisation and Public Health agendas
To provide direct clinical care to patients

We are delighted to be able to offer a full-time role as a Senior Clinical Clinician - Band 6, within the Harrogate Adult Crisis Resolution and Intensive Home Treatment Team.
This is a permanent position based in Ripon, supporting the adult populations of Harrogate, Ripon, Knaresborough, Wetherby and surrounding areas. The team operates over 24 hours, 7 days a week, with a 12-hr shift pattern.
The post holder will be part of a resilient, welcoming and professional team that works collaboratively with internal and external partners to meet the needs of those who are experiencing a crisis in their mental health needs. The team takes a recovery orientated, formulation driven approach, which values shared decision making.
The post is open to Registered Nurses, Occupational Therapists and Social Workers with current relevant registration with the NMC, HCPC or SWE.
Nursing candidates must have 18 months post qualifying experience including sign off of appropriate preceptorship or competency framework at the time of applying.

Main duties of the job
The role will involve co-ordination of the shift, triage and assessment of referrals, risk management, safety planning, formulation and liaison with internal and external agencies as required .
The team are part of an All Age 24hr Crisis Response Line / NHS 111 Option 2 service operated by all Crisis teams within the North Yorkshire and York Adult Mental Health Locality. We also manage gatekeeping admissions to the acute admission wards as well as supporting bed management when required.
The post holder will be responsible for the clinical leadership of more junior members/students within the team, prioritising workload and utilising resources appropriately to ensure that service user and carers needs are met. Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust are seeking to appoint an exceptional clinical pharmacist and independent prescriber to support our Early Intervention in Psychosis Services (EIPS) across Sussex. Effective early treatment can reduce the probability of the emergence of longer term 'treatment resistant' symptoms and contributes to the avoidance of the 'revolving door' syndrome of repeated relapse and as suicide is highest in the first few years of First Episode Psychosis (FEP), can reduce the risk of suicide.
The main area of work is the delivery of care and treatment to young people and adults ages 14-65 experiencing a first episode of psychosis. Help will be offered to reduce distress, maintain independence and integrity of care networks, shorten illness, prevent relapse, promote recovery/social inclusion, and minimise the impact of disabilities. Work with friends and family is seen as an integral element of the way care is delivered.
The EIPS service is an integral part of the Specialist division. The service is made up of 6 EIPS teams across Sussex, managed by a Trust-wide Early Intervention General Manager and supported by a dedicated EIPS Clinical Lead. Teams are located in Horsham, Worthing, Bognor, Brighton, Hailsham and Hastings.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Property Manager to join the Estates and Facilities Directorate at Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.
Reporting directly to the Deputy Director - Estate Management and Assurance, you will be responsible for providing expert technical support and advice on all aspects of property management services to ensure the Trust estate is managed efficiently and effectively. The Postholder will have proven knowledge, qualifications and experience in managing a large and complex property portfolio and be skilled in the analysis and interpretation of highly complex information.
This is a newly created, senior management role. Educated to degree level (or have equivalent experience in a property-related discipline), you will hold Membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. You will have an in-depth knowledge and experience of negotiating and delivering complex planning and development, landlord and tenant, and other property-related contracts and be able to consult effectively with Legal Advisors and other professional consultants.
Main duties of the job
You will be responsible for providing specialist expertise in the development of the Trust Estate Strategy and its implementation and delivery. This will include promoting new initiatives for the effective management of technical property services and being responsible for the development and delivery of the Trust's property related strategic objectives, operational policies, and procedures.
This will include leading on a broad range of property development, transactionsand asset management, including acquisition and disposal of freehold and leasehold interests, landlord and tenant matters, Private Finance Initiative (PFI) contract management, service charge and other financial management.
The post holder will be required to provide assurance that the Trust is fulfilling its statutory and regulatory requirements with regards to property transactions and property occupations and adherence to landlord and tenant lease obligations and freehold title matters.
