We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Band 6 Occupational Therapist to work in the Acute Older Adult Inpatient Unit at the Harbour, Blackpool, delivering care to service users who are experiencing mental health problems. The successful candidate will be responsible for caseloads, assessing patients within the hospital and home environments and supporting with patient-centred care and timely discharges to home or the most appropriate placement.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will deliver a range of group and/or individual interventions drawn from relevant frames of reference, demonstrating sophisticated clinical reasoning skills. They will prioritise planning and delivering interventions for adults whose mental health problems have a marked impact on their occupational functioning and who have complex occupational needs. This senior position requires achieving an appropriate balance between the provision of specialist occupational therapy and taking on shared roles that contribute to the efficient functioning of the team.
As an emergent leader and skilful communicator, the post holder will liaise and negotiate across service boundaries and in varied settings. They are research aware, and use evidence to support and develop practice. The post holder will provide regular fieldwork opportunities for occupational therapy undergraduates, and contribute to the learning of other team members or students from other disciplines. They have responsibilities for mentoring and/or developing others and supervise more junior practitioners and support staff, delegating work to add to the effectiveness and efficiency of the team.

Job summary

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated Band 6 Physiotherapist to work with a diverse caseload of developmental, neurological, and physical needs. The post is advertised as 18.75 hours and is a permanent position within our team.
In this role, you will play a key part in helping children and young people maximise their physical potential and independence. The post may involve working across various settings, including the Child Development Centre at York Hospital, Selby Hospital, community settings, and both mainstream and special schools.
You will be joining a friendly, innovative, and supportive Integrated Children's Therapy Team with a strong commitment to personal and professional development. This post will allow you to develop your clinical, organisational and supervisory skills. We offer regular team meetings, an in-service training programme, provide access to regular clinical supervision and have a strong commitment to promoting CPD. You will receive support from the Clinical Lead and experienced Band 6 physiotherapists to help you grow within the role.
Main duties of the job
You will be responsible for providing Specialist Physiotherapy assessment, treatment, and diagnosis support for patients within the specialty of Children's Neurodevelopmental Physiotherapy.
- You will work as an autonomous practitioner, holding responsibility for your own caseload of patients with complex physical, psychological & cognitive problems.
- Take responsibility for delivery of evidence-based, or best practice physiotherapy care relevant to the Paediatric field.
- You will work closely with other members of the Multi-Disciplinary team and collaborate with colleagues in the management of patients.
- You will provide support, leadership, specialist advice and tailored training, supervision, and mentorship to less experienced members of staff, students, and apprentices.
- You will participate and engage in regular clinical and managerial supervision, and undertake education and training in order to develop oneself and others.
- Contribute to audit and service improvement to evaluate and improve clinical practice.
- Have an awareness of Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) and statutory duties in relation to this area.
Candidates must be able to communicate information clearly, concisely, and logically. You should demonstrate how your previous clinical experience meets the requirements of this role, using specific examples from your practice.

We are looking for Band 5 RMN to come and join The BANES Recovery Team. The team provides care, treatment and support to service users with secondary mental health needs and this role will primarily support the nursing tasks and duties within the team for individuals with severe and enduring mental illness.

You will support the duty function of the team on a rota system, including the clozapine clinic and depot duty.

Emergency Call Taker - Make a Difference When It Matters Most
A child is trapped beneath a fallen tree.Someone suddenly collapses and stops breathing.There's been a serious road traffic collision.A caller is standing on a bridge, overwhelmed and in crisis.
In moments like these, people dial 999.
As an Emergency Call Taker, you will often be the very first person a caller speaks to in some of the most difficult moments of their life. Your calmness, compassion, and ability to think clearly under pressure can make a real difference.
Can you stay focused when others are distressed?Can you ask the right questions, provide reassurance, and support callers through critical situations?
If so, this could be the role for you.
No two calls are ever the same. One moment you may be helping coordinate a life-saving emergency response, and the next you could be supporting a new parent through the safe arrival of their baby.
This is a fast-paced, challenging, and highly rewarding role where you will be part of a team dedicated to helping people when they need it most.
Main duties of the job
This role is based on-site and does not support remote working. You will need to work from our Emergency Operations Centre in Bicester, Oxfordshire.
- Based is Northern House HQ - Bicester
- Must be 18+

- Training courses available from October 2026 onwards

This is a fixed term contract to cover a 12 month secondment, within the adult Speech and Language Therapy service at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital.
Main duties of the job

We are excited to offer the fantastic opportunity for a well experienced, qualified Dietitian to join our friendly and supportive team of Paediatric Dietitians. We would love to hear from you if you have post registration neonatal dietetic experience or are well versed in general acute paediatric dietetics working with babies and children, and have a passion or ambition to work in a busy neonatal environment.
You will be working alongside a team of friendly, supportive and experienced Paediatric Dietitians across 2 hospitals within Mid and South Essex Foundation Trust (Basildon and Southend Hospitals) and covering our neonatal caseload. You will be required to provide clinical leadership on these sites to neonatal dietetics, and supported by colleagues who also have neonatal experience. You will be involved in upskilling and clinical supervision of Band 5/6 paediatric dietitians and.
The post is offered as a 0.6 wte part time permanent position across 2 sites. Jobshare would be considered, subject to meeting the needs of the service.
Main duties of the job
In this role you will work alongside other paediatric dietitians to cover the neonatal caseload. Close collaboration with the wider neonatal MDT, including fellow AHPs, medical and nursing staff to ensure family integrated care.
You will participate in patient handovers, and MDT ward rounds. You will also have firm opportunity to develop the MSEFT neonatal dietetic service, alongside another Band 7 neonatal dietitian colleague in Broomfield Hospital (also part of MSEFT).

Job summary
The Senior Health Care Assistant is a member of a multidisciplinary Ward/Departmental team who undertakes duties in relation to patient care and ward/department administration, to support the 5 principles of the Nursing and Midwifery Strategy which reflect the organisations commitment to quality and the expectations of high quality nursing care in the Acute Hospital setting.

Main duties of the job
To maintain the highest possible standards of compassionate and professional patient care with particular attention to privacy and dignity. Assist patients with personal care, hygiene and sanitary needs, ensuring privacy and dignity is maintained . Ensure that patient's bedding, nightwear and clothing is maintained in a clean and comfortable state. Assist in the meeting of patients' nutritional needs, including non-oral nutritional and fluid intake. Where identified in the plan of care ensure that food and fluid intake and elimination output are accurately documented on appropriate charts. Assist in skin and pressure area care to prevent pressure ulcers developing. Under the supervision of registered nurses, ensure patients are helped to move position to prevent discomfort and / or pressure ulcers and promote effective respiratory function . Assist patients with safe mobilisation according to their plan of care and where appropriate seek help from other members of the ward team. Utilise appropriate moving and handling aids to reduce the risk of injury to the patient and themselves. Assist registered staff in the taking and recording of vital signs as per the patient's plan of care. Communicate to the nurse in charge any changes observed in a patient's condition.
