We are delighted to offer an exciting 12-month maternity cover opportunity within our growing CAMHS service at Dorset Healthcare. This is a pivotal role supporting the Head of Children's Services and the Senior CAMHS Management Team, placing you at the heart of a dynamic and evolving service dedicated to improving outcomes for children and young people.
As a Personal Assistant, you will provide comprehensive, high-level support to senior leaders, helping to manage competing priorities, coordinate key activities, and ensure the smooth running of day-to-day operations. This is a role where your organisational skills, initiative, and attention to detail will truly make a difference.
You will be part of a supportive and forward-thinking team, working in an environment where innovation and continuous improvement are encouraged.
Based at Trust Headquarters, this role also offers flexibility for home working where appropriate, helping you maintain a healthy work-life balance. The PA post is a full time role. We would welcome part time applicants with a minimum of 30 hours.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will provide a comprehensive, high-quality and confidential Personal Assistant service to the Head of Children's Services and the Senior CAMHS Management Team, supporting the effective running of a busy and dynamic service.
Key responsibilities include managing complex diaries, coordinating meetings, and ensuring the effective prioritisation of senior managers' time in a fast-paced environment. The role acts as a key point of contact, handling communications, responding to correspondence and liaising with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
The post holder will prepare agendas, reports and presentations, and take accurate minutes, ensuring actions are tracked and delivered within agreed timescales. They will support the organisation of meetings and events, maintain electronic filing systems, and ensure all information is managed in line with governance requirements.
Additional duties include supporting workforce processes such as leave and roster management, assisting with financial administration including invoices and ordering, and maintaining effective working relationships across services.
The role requires excellent organisational skills, discretion and professionalism, with the ability to work flexibly and use initiative to manage competing priorities.

Job summary
Are you enthusiastic and motivated? Pebble Lodge are looking for a Mental Health Support Worker to join their team.
Pebble Lodge is a purpose built 10 bed general adolescent unit for young people aged between 13 and 18 years, who are experiencing acute and severe mental health problems. They also provide an education and day programme service for these young people.
As a Mental Health Support Worker you will carry out assigned tasks which have been identified by the trained nursing staff in relation to young people's needs, assist in organised activities for young and help to create a safe atmosphere and provide emotional support as and when necessary for the young people in the unit and to report any relevant information. This involves being a part of the Multi-disciplinary team meetings and risk management meetings.
This is a full time however part time hours with a minimum of 25 hours would be welcomed. You will be required to work a range of flexible shifts across the week. Weekends/nights at enhanced pay.

Employment in this post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Trust will cover the cost of. Applicants who subscribe to the DBS update service are able to present a valid DBS certificate instead of requiring a new check.
Main duties of the job
You will have the opportunity to attend training courses and participate in personal development training as identified by the line manager.
You will report any complaints by young people, families and carers to the trained staff on duty.Make accurate records of patient observations, including data entry to the RiO patient records computer system.
Other duties appropriate to the role which may be requested from time to time by the nurse in charge.
This role requires you to be a driver, the ward have a unit car which is used to transport young people to their homes/placements and to activities or medical appointments. You will be given a driving course on this to ensure you are familiar with the car.
You will be required to undertake a Prevention and Management of Violence and Aggression course, and it is a condition of your employment that you successfully complete all aspects of this course; if this is not achieved you will not be able to commence working in the post.

The post holder will be based at Queen's Medical Centre (QMC) with the ability to work across all Trust and external sites as needed.
The postholder will be required to work flexibly, including out-of-hours working as required to the role and part of the on-call rota, for which there is an additional payment.

Leeds Gender Identity Service is looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Speech and Language therapist to work in the field of voice and communication.
This post is an exciting opportunity to assess and provide intervention to trans and gender diverse service users who wish to find their authentic voice which is congruent with their gender.
You will have experience of working in the field of voice. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and as the caseload may also include people with autism and learning difficulties, you will need to be flexible in your therapeutic approach to work alongside different needs.
You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team which includes doctors, psychologists, endocrinology team and nursing colleagues. You will have access to management supervision and 1:1 clinical and peer supervision as required in addition to support from Band 7 Speech and Language Therapists within the team.
Although the base for the post is Leeds, the service does currently offer the majority of therapy sessions on-line. We welcome any queries that you may have about applying for this role.
Main duties of the job
You will be independently managing a caseload of service users experiencing gender dysphoria, providing complex information in relation to Speech and Language Therapy interventions in a clear and empathetic manner.
You will be accepting internal referrals for Transgender Voice and Communication Therapy from all gender service clinicians and will manage a caseload of people who have been diagnosed with gender incongruence through assessment, individual and group therapy sessions towards discharge, and liaise with GPs or other healthcare professionals as required.
You will provide specialist assessment (perceptual and objective) and intervention in pitch, resonance, intonation, voice quality in both individual and group therapy sessions, underpinned by a developed knowledge of a range of counselling skills approaches and intervention plans to colleagues and service users.
You will input into planning and delivering the voice group therapy programmes in liaison with the gender team and take a lead role in creating, developing and updating care pathways for specific clinical issues, within the area of SLT.

Prepare ward/clinical area for receiving patients by ensuring area is generally clean and tidy - assist in maintaining the standards in the clinical area and report any untidiness/clutter to the appropriate person.
Assist in the admission of new patients into the department by preparing bed/trolley area, welcoming patient, directing to bed/other area, showing patient around the ward.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Main duties of the job
Complete holistic assessments of service users.

Job summary
The Emergency Planning Manager will be a key member of the Trust's specialist Emergency Preparedness, Resilience and Response (EPRR) team, supporting services across the organisation to strengthen resilience and maintain the continuity of patient care. Main duties of the job
The post holder will support the Head of Emergency Planning in maintaining the trust's EPRR responsibilities and manage the day- to-day implementation and development of EPRR including business continuity plans, training, communication and exercising for the trust ensuring delivery of performance outcomes. Other projects may be assigned within the remit of the Head of Emergency Planning to ensure delivery of key aims and objectives.
Responsible for risk assessing, planning the development and implementation of all arrangements relating to integration and delivery of Business Continuity Plans, training and exercising programmes and communication compliance across all 5 hospital sites in support of the Head of Emergency Planning contributing to the trust'spreparedness, resilience and ability to respond to and recover from incidents and emergencies as defined in the Civil Contingencies Act 2004. Job summary
Macarthur Ward Team have got vacancy for the post of Senior Staff Nurse (Band 6).
The successful candidate would be able to pursue a more clinical pathway in their career.
Reporting to the Ward Manager, you would be working in a multi-faceted role encompassing training and development, clinical governance and quality and continuous improvement as well as a heavy focus on developing and implementing comprehensive care plans, not to mention research and being an active participant in shaping the future of in-patients' services.
Main duties of the job

- To maintain and develop own and the teams clinical skills, knowledge and professional practice via a local training template in line with professional, NICE, SCIE (social care institute for excellence) and KSF guidelines and service need, ensuring the maintenance of effective evidence based practice.
To support and contribute towards the organisation's clinical governance systems, supporting quality standards and work towards the continuous improvement in clinical and service quality.
Clinical Responsibilities
- To act as a clinically focussed Senior Staff Nurse within Inpatient Wards providing support/advice; linking with Matrons and community specialist nurses and pathways.
- To act in a consultative role for junior staff, supporting the upskilling of staff knowledge and skills.
