Job summary
The post holder will work within the trusts various wards, and departments to carry out a range of various duties associated within the provision of cleaning, food service and other patient support activities.
This will be over a seven day period, were available shifts will be uploaded to the Rosters app for staff to book.

Main duties of the job
- Cleaning duties within the allocated department of work and associated areas in accordance with the departmental cleaning schedule, National Cleaning Standards and including specialist cleaning as required by infection control.
- Checking equipment to be used and displaying warning signs to comply with the health and safety regulations.
- Ensuring correct waste segregation disposal procedures in accordance with the Trust policy.
- Regeneration and serving of food, beverage preparation and associated duties.
- Distribution and collection of linen to wards and departments and associated laundry duties.
- Completion of Trust departmental paperwork in accordance with standing instructions.
- Assistance with Health, Safety, Hygiene and monitoring checks/audits.
- To observe Food Hygiene Legislation, hospital and client policies and procedures at all times, reporting any faults, defects or operational issues to Supervisor/Manager/Client representative.
- Engagement with all training programmes/courses relevant to the role.
- Liaise with Colleagues and Ward Staff to ensure the highest quality of Service possible.

Job summary
Here at the Beeches Mother and Baby (MBU) Unit, we aim to create a positive and supportive community to promote the mother's recovery and baby's development.
The team provide specialist inpatient care for up to 6 women with moderate to serious mental illness, during the perinatal period. This is a crucial and vulnerable time for women.
As many as one in five women experience post or ante natal depression, anxiety or in some cases severe mental illness such as psychosis during pregnancy or in the first year after childbirth.
The purpose of the MBU is to keep the Mother & Baby together, whilst treating the mother's mental health and promoting or maintaining attachment and bonding.
We accept admission for women in late stages of pregnancy and up until the baby is 1 year old.
Please Note : This post is unfortunately NOT open to newly qualified nurses and preceptorship must have been completed.
Main duties of the job
You will be an NMC registered RMN/RN (Mental Health) with a keen interest in perinatal mental health.
You will form part of a multi-disciplinary team, working alongside professionals who strive to provide high quality care to mothers, alongside their babies and partners.

We are seeking an organised and proactive Administrative Assistant to join the antenatal administration team within Womens Services at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. Based primarily at St Jamess University Hospital, you will support the Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) vaccination pathway for pregnant patients. RSV is a common respiratory virus that can cause serious lung infections in babies; vaccination during pregnancy helps protect newborns in their first months of life. You will coordinate clinics, book appointments, promote vaccine awareness and help maximise clinic utilisation. You will maintain accurate records, provide clerical and data-entry support, respond professionally to enquiries, assist with meetings and present relevant information at the Obstetrics Access Meeting. You will communicate confidently, use initiative and place patients at the heart of your work while contributing flexibly to the wider antenatal team. The role includes cross-site working when required, so you must be able to travel between Trust sites independently or use the staff shuttle.
Main duties of the job
To provide a comprehensive administrative service to the Obstetrics department. The postholder will be able to work flexibly and be able to adapt to the changing demands within the team. The post holder must be able to communicate sensitively and effectively with a wide range of people including patients, families, medical staff and the wider multi-disciplinary team. The postholder will be required to understand the key features of the role and understand the imperative need for confidentiality and discretion at all times. We have a fabulous opportunity for a Band 6 Lead Nurse (RMN) to join The South and Dales Older Adult Community Mental Health Team (CMHT). We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated individual to join our supportive team.

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Homeless Health Inclusion Team to support people experiencing homelessness who attend the Accident & Emergency Departments across Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust.
This is a new 12-month fixed-term role, created to improve the experience and outcomes of patients experiencing homelessness. The post will focus on providing early support and intervention to help patients transition safely back into the community, while reducing the need for repeated hospital attendances.
The successful candidate will be part of the Homeless Health Inclusion Team and report directly to the team. However, they will work independently within the Accident & Emergency Department, acting as a key link between patients, clinical teams, community services, housing providers, and partner organisations to ensure timely support and safe discharge planning.
We are looking for a motivated and compassionate individual who can work calmly and professionally in a fast-paced environment. You will be confident working autonomously while remaining closely connected to the wider Homeless Health Inclusion Team. The role requires excellent communication and relationship-building skills, as you will work closely with patients, hospital staff, local authorities, housing teams, and voluntary sector partners.
Main duties of the job
- Work with ED colleagues, the hospital Homeless Health Team, local HIU ED Case Worker and Borough HIU Care Coordinators to implement referral and feedback mechanisms for homeless people and HIUs.
- Act as the central point of contact for referrals of people experiencing homelessness from ED and other hospital departments.
- Provide immediate support: o Provide direct support with housing, financial, and wellbeing needs, including access to primary and specialist health services on discharge.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with ED staff, HIU teams, GPs, ambulance services, police, mental health professionals, social services, community teams, and third sector partners.
- Proactively identify and act on safeguarding issues for vulnerable adults and children.
- Provide housing and homelessness advice to ED staff and contribute to teaching and awareness sessions.
- Actively identify and address own learning needs, keeping up to date with housing legislation, welfare reforms, and local service provision.

Job summary

A fantastic opportunity has become available in the Calderdale CAMHS Learning Disability Team for a Learning Disability Nurse. The opportunity has arisen due to career progression.
The Learning Disability Team in Calderdale is a small, welcoming, friendly team who have strong relationships with partner agencies which supports collaborative working and transition to adult services. The team are visible within community settings and participate in panels and meetings to ensure that children and young peoples needs are understood.
The team have won a SWYPT Excellence Award in 2025 due to the Behaviour in Bitesize group they offer to parents and carers. This group is held in high regard and receives positive feedback. The team are now extending this group offer to specialist schools to support the work they deliver.
The successful applicant will provide community-based nursing care for children and young people (aged 0-18) with learning disabilities and associated complex health needs. Due to this the role is varied as the team offer assessment, formulation, 1.1. work, group work, care co-ordination and support to partner agencies and professionals through consultation. The team also support a local university with teaching and student nurse placements.
The team is closely aligned to other professionals within the other CAMHS pathways and as such, advice and support are provided to CAMHS colleagues as required.
Main duties of the job
To act as a specialist practitioner in childrens learning disability nursing within a community setting.
To undertake holistic assessments and formulate the information to understand the needs of a children or young person and their parent/carer.
To be able to collaborate with partner agencies such as the disabled children team and specialist schools.
To be able to advocate for children, young people and their parents and carers to support their needs being understood and met.
To undertake and review care plans/risk assessments.
To attend multi agency meetings and panels to contribute information in a professional manner.

Job summary
Reporting to the Financial Controller, the post holder will have responsibilities for the group accounting, cash management and other key areas across the Financial Accounts function. This post requires a combination of financial accounting skills and managerial experience within the context of a large acute provider Trust.
Main duties of the job
This role is key in delivering the financial reporting agenda for NUH, providing dedicated support to the Financial Controller in the production of ad-hoc reports, monthly and annual statutory consolidated accounts and the submission of NHS statutory financial accounts and returns. They will manage the collation of the Statement of Financial Position (SoFP) control accounts, including those of the subsidiary, Hospital Pharmacy Services Nottingham (HPSN).

Job responsibilities
Provide operational support to the Financial Controller in the delivery of all statutory / NHS accounts and monthly returns (including Provider Financial Returns (PFRs), Statutory Accounts and detailed working papers) which should represent a true and fair view of the Trust position and meet financial timescales and legal requirements.
Input into the annual national Financial Planning Returns (FPRs) reflecting the current Trust plan in terms of the planned SOFP, projected Statement of Cash Flow (SOCF) and technical calculations, including the PDC dividend for the year.
Review all working papers for the monthly / annual accounts ensuring compliance with appropriate IFRS guidance, standards and timescales.
Review the integrity of the trial balance (TB), the Statement of Comprehensive Income (SOCI) and SOFP of both the Trust and the subsidiary Pharmacy Company and provide Group accounts with the appropriate elimination of inter-company transactions.
Operate an appropriate control environment relating to Trust control accounts and suspense accounts, ensuring that all procedures are followed in a timely manner.
Review the Trust / HPSN SOFP control accounts, ensuring reconciliations are completed, and reviewed, on time by responsible officers, in the prescribed Trust format. Working with the Senior Financial Accountant (Technical Accounts), the post holder will provide monthly performance reports to the Financial Controller to indicate the rate of completion and to ensure all reconciliations are completed on time and to the required standard.
Review SOFP control account reconciliations (including cash, receivables and payables) and obtain assurance over audit risk areas such as accruals by conducting an analytical review with counterparts (eg. Management Accountants) and challenging preparers / making recommendations as appropriate.
Undertake periodical reports to the Finance Performance Committee, including movements and trends in the key components of the SOFP and SOCF and seek / validate appropriate explanations for movements.
Assess overall emerging trends and recommend actions to the Financial Controller in addressing adverse movements in working capital, engaging with peers across the finance function as necessary.
Prepare for the annual accounts and audit by designing and maintaining a monthly set of working papers to audit standard, ensuring working papers are reviewed and signed off and professionally prepared.
Develop and maintain a close and productive working relationship with the Trusts external auditor in matters relating to the production of the annual statutory accounts and subsequent audit. Prepare audit evidence in advance of deadlines and be prepared for audit challenge as appropriate.
Convert audit recommendations (internal and external) into actions and provide assurance internally and externally that these have been implemented and tested within the stated timeframes as agreed with between the Financial Controller and the auditor.
Advise on, and co-ordinate the Agreement of Balances process (AoB), within the context of the overall accounts timetable, ensuring all AoB submissions are completed including the resolution of any mismatches.
Act on advice from the Senior Financial Accountant - Technical Accounts to correctly interpret and apply new or updated accounting standards as adopted by the NHS.
Source information to resolve complex financial problems or queries, and identify, report and resolve emerging problems before becoming a more significant issue for the Trust.
Review and sign-off draft PFR returns to provide assurance to the Financial Controller that there are no errors, challenging as necessary. Ensure all narratives, particularly relating to variances against plan, have been completed by all relevant parties.
Develop and maintain working relationships with internal colleagues (finance and non-finance) and external contacts (e.g. NHS SBS) ensuring an effective two-way flow of information and a common understanding of stakeholder requirements / offerings. Formalise such arrangements where it would be beneficial to the Trust.
Supervise internal cash flow forecasting, ensuring alignment with the SBS cashflow model and ensure a feedback loop to SBS covers known future cash flow items / changes.
Oversee the preparation of monthly cash forecasts for review by the Financial Controller and maintain and develop the rolling 12-month cash forecast to support monthly financial reporting (working capital, liquidity etc) and any new, or progress against ongoing, requests for cash support.
Prepare documentation / analysis for review by the Financial Controller relating to standing items reported to the Cash Committee.
Provide sign-off for the payment runs generated by SBS for the Trust and HPSN, ensuring the Trust has cash coverage. Adhering to policies authorised by the Cash Committee, prioritise payments as necessary to ensure the Trust can meet its statutory payables and payroll commitments, clearly understanding and reporting the consequences of any actions proposed.

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and enthusiastic Band 7 Heart Failure Nurse Specialist with a broad range of clinical experience to join our team. The role requires a flexible approach to work with commitment and the ability to prioritise workload in the fast-paced environment.
The role of the Band 7 Heart Failure Clinical Nurse Specialist is to provide specialist advice and guidance to clinical teams, patients and carers in the inpatient and community settings. Their role includes; direct clinical assessment, medication prescription and detailed specialist guidance for the MDT caring for a patient with confirmed heart failure. Essential to the role is excellent written and communication skills and the ability to work both autonomously and within the broader heart failure MDT.
The ideal candidates will be Independent Prescribers who are experienced in Cardiology. However, candidates who do not meet the full personal specification would be considered for a Band 6 developmental position (moving to Band 7 on completion of specialist competencies) if they have other relevant experience that may be advantageous to this role.
You will have access to study and training opportunities to further enhance your skills and knowledge and will be able to share your expertise through teaching colleagues and providing patient/carer education.
Main duties of the job
The aim of the post is to facilitate the early identification of patients admitted to hospital with heart failure by the detection and gathering of patients already known to have heart failure or patients who are admitted with heart failure.
To provide clinical leadership, advice, support and information to staff in respect of all aspects of heart failure care to all staff groups. The role will include the development of care pathways, improved discharge planning and improvements of discharge information. The post holder will contribute and maintain links across primary and secondary care.
The post holder will be a key member of the Heart Failure Team, providing specialist-nursing care to all patients referred to the Heart Failure service, utilising advanced nursing practice skills and knowledge to enable streamlining of the care pathway.
The post holder will act as a source of expertise and knowledge for patients, relatives and health professionals.
They will be expected to liaise with the MDT to provide assessment and follow-up of patients with a confirmed diagnosis of heart failure - ensuring optimal therapy and promotion of education towards self-management. They will be expected to liaise with GPs, community services and social services to develop a multi-disciplinary approach towards improving the care and management of patients with a diagnosis of Heart Failure.
