Our Employee Health team provides a comprehensive occupational health service to one of the largest community NHS trusts in London, supporting the health,wellbeingand safety of our workforce. You will be a Registered Nurse with a Diploma, Degree or Postgraduate Diploma/MSc in Occupational Health and have experience working within an occupational health environment.
You will have up-to-date knowledge of occupational health legislation, professionalguidanceand best practice, with the ability to apply this knowledge to deliver a high-quality, responsive service.
The successful candidate willdemonstratestrong clinical and leadership skills, together with excellent interpersonal and organisational abilities. You will be an effective communicator, confident using IT systems, and able to manage a varied workload with a flexible, proactive approach while working with minimal supervision.
Main duties of the job
Based atSt Charles Centre for Health & Care (W10 6DZ), you will play a key role in delivering a high-quality occupational health service across the Trust, supporting the health and wellbeing of our workforce.
In this role, you will:

Deliver occupational health services across multiple Trust locations as part of a peripatetic role.

Travel to other Trust sites to ensure employees haveequitableaccess to Employee Health services.

Manage a varied workload with minimal supervision whilemaintaininghigh professional standards.

Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide an effective,responsiveand person-centred occupational health service.

Job summary
Withybush General Hospital is looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to undertake the role of an Administration & Clerical Receptionist within the Same Day Emergency Care Unit (SDEC) .
The post holder staffs the Reception Desk and facilitates the smooth running of SDEC in conjunction with the SDEC multidisciplinary Team.
Main duties of the job
Duties will include registering all new SDEC patients, ensuring accurate filing/ collection and onward transmission of all patient records and taking and relaying information related to patient care, answer telephone queries in a courteous and efficient manner, referring to a Registered Nurse those telephone queries requiring patient care/ advice.
You will also inform the Nurse-in-charge of any patient presenting in distress, or who appear acutely unwell at any time, report any concerns about patients' well being, complaints or queries regarding a patient's condition to the relevant clinician.
The post covers 7 days a week.

You will be required to complete a dialysis training competency package which, when competent will enable you to support the patient by being involved in initiating, monitoring and completing dialysis treatment. We will support all successful candidates to complete the Haemodialysis Foundation Competencies whilst being paid as a Band 2 Trainee Dialysis Assistant and once these are achieved (which may take up to 6 months) you will then be paid as a Band 3 Dialysis Assistant.
Main duties of the job
Set up and maintain a safe area for dialysis.
Preparation of a haemodialysis machine including lining and priming.
Correct use of Personal Protective Equipment and Aseptic Non Touch Technique.
Commencing/ discontinuing haemodialysis treatment via vascular access i.e. central venous catheter, AVF or graft.
Correct decontamination of equipment.
Safe discharge from dialysis area

An opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic person to join our award-winning housekeeping team. Ash Villa is a 24-hour, 365-day-a-year unit with service users that have a variety of mental health issues.

Job summary
The post holder will provide support to the Directorate Accountant in the delivery of financial and statutoryobligations of the Trusts Financial Management function. Responsibility for producing financial informationand providing support to a group of clinical and departmental budget holders. We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, forward-thinking Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist to join our Adult Speech and Language Therapy Team at Broadgreen Hospital. You will manage a caseload across the reablement hub and stroke transitional unit. There is opportunity to work with a broad range of complex conditions alongside a range of other specialities. You will be supported to develop skills in dysphagia and communication as well as caseload management, prioritisation, and leadership.
The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic and friendly multidisciplinary team who are passionate about patient care and service delivery. The role embraces driving rehab and reablement with older people, and you will have the opportunity to work with elderly care and stroke patients in the sub-acute environment.
We are a progressive department who are well-respected by our medical, nursing and AHP colleagues. We are the drivers of a number of local policies and projects, and to ensure best practice, we work collaboratively as a department, attending CENs, SIGs and working parties regionally and beyond.
Main duties of the job
You will provide evidence-based Speech and Language Therapy assessment and intervention for patients with eating, drinking or communication difficulties as part of a seven day service.
There is opportunity for MDT work in a welcoming team. You will work within the MDT as a valued team member. There is opportunity to contribute to daily ward-based board-round and weekly MDT meetings. There will be opportunities for developing the SALT service provision within this setting including dysphagia / communication training.
There is access to expert practitioner Speech and Language Therapists in advanced dysphagia, Stroke, critical care, respiratory and voice. Videofluoroscopy clinics run weekly. We have a well-established FEES training programme for senior clinicians. All Band 6 staff have the opportunity to become Videofluoroscopy practitioners.
We have regular team meetings and are committed to continuing professional development. We have a clear supervision structure and advice is available from our highly skilled Clinical Specialists within the department.
Band 6 therapists are required to supervise Band 5 / assistant staff and deputise for clinical team leads. You will be encouraged to support service development through inclusion in internal and external projects.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Freedom to Speak Up (FTSU) Guardian to join the Speaking Up team at DBTH. This exciting opportunity comes at a time-of-organisational and service development and will allow the ideal candidate to participate in and contribute towards the developing journey of Speaking Up and the wider Culture work across the trust.
Delivering on the Speaking Up Strategy for 2024-2028 will provide the Guardian with exposure to engagement across all teams, from all disciplines and personal characteristics and this work will help to identify groups where specific support is required to address or remove barriers that prevent some people from Speaking Up.
Having a healthy speaking up culture is one of the key priorities in the refreshed Speaking Up Strategy and is recognised as being essential to maintaining high levels of patient and colleague safety and improved quality and experience across all services. Enabling this culture requires Guardians to role model ethical behaviours in line with FTSU Guardian Values, the DBTH We Care Values and the DBTH Way.
The FTSU Guardian will work alongside the Trust Executive and Senior Leadership teams to support the Trust as an open and transparent place to work, where all staff are actively encouraged and enabled to speak up safely. They will help to protect patient safety and quality of care.
Main duties of the job
Working across all sites and teams - clinical and corporate - the FTSU Guardian will lead and support a team of FTSU Champions across the Trust, ensuring all staff are able to report concerns and have a good experience when they choose to do so.
The FTSU Guardians operates in an independent, impartial and objective capacity with complete autonomy to support the Trust's aim to improve openness and transparency when encouraging staff to speak up safely as well as encouraging a listening and learning culture.
The appointed FTSU Guardian will report to the Lead Freedom to Speak Up Guardian and the Chief People Officer (as Executive Lead for Speaking Up). They will also meet regularly with the Non-Executive Lead for FTSU to ensure the whole Trust Board is involved in the FTSU strategy, annual action for improvement and generally kept up to date with challenges and outcomes across the Trust.

Our Psychology and Psychological Therapies Team places a strong emphasis on staff wellbeing and supporting personal and professional development.

The role of the Therapy Support Worker is to support the delivery of Rehabilitation to service users within the Critical Care unit.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a split post between our Special schools and Secondary schools therapy teams. Both teams are part of the wider Children's therapies team, a supportive and dynamic team with many professional development opportunities.

The role will encompass supervision and and support of junior speech and language therapists as well as speech and language therapy assistants. The post holder will also support the development and evaluation of service delivery.
Main duties of the job
- To undertake specialist paediatric assessment of children/students on own caseload, who may have complex presentations and from this assessment to formulate a treatment plan and carry out this treatment as an autonomous practitioner.
- To work closely with teaching staff, parents/carers and other MDT members to support each pupil.
- To supervise and support undergraduate students, and be involved in teaching MDT staff as well as those from other agencies.
- To support the implementation of evidence-based projects, including making recommendations for change in practice and participating in departmental research and audit as appropriate.

Main duties of the job
As a Mental Health Nurse, your responsibilities will vary. You will
