An opportunity has arisen for a qualified physiotherapist to join our well respected physiotherapy outpatient team in the North Cornwall Locality, working at Bodmin hospital.
Our service provides out-patient physiotherapy to the local community accepting referrals from GPs, Consultants and Allied Health Professionals, as well as Patient Self-referrals. We have a strong commitment to professional development, regular supervision and in-service training at a local and countywide level.
We are looking for a capable, motivated and flexible colleague to join our team on a full time basis.
Interviews will be held face to face at Bodmin hospital and will include a practical element. We are therefore unable to offer a virtual option.
Main duties of the job
To provide a high standard physiotherapy service to the Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy service.
1. Performs musculoskeletal assessment of patients and from this formulates a diagnosis and treatment plan and carries out this plan as an autonomous practitioner.
2. Work in a range of settings within outpatient physiotherapy.

Main duties of the job
In your role as Assistant Night Recovery Navigator you will work collaboratively with people with long-term mental health and complex needs. Using a client-centred approach, and working collaboratively with a multi-professional team, delivering social and clinical interventions tailored to individuals cultural and social needs. Part of your role is to support service users to have a healthy sleep hygiene, creating a calm, safe environment in the house, offering emotional support to service users and managing risks. Were looking for a permanent Night Assistant Recovery Navigator to work 3 waking nights per week. This can be either as part of the rota or working regular nights to be confirmed on appointment. The Service has 10 rooms and is open 24/7 Monday to Sunday. The waking night shift is 21:00 to 09:30 with an hours break. Main duties of the job
As a Health Care Assistant, you will work under direct or indirect supervision of a Registered Nurse/Nursing Associate. You will be primarily assisting the nursing team with care of the patients and will facilitate the smooth running of the department.

To provide admin support to the pharmacy team including 7 day service provision on a rolling rota and when required.

Main duties of the job
- To assist in the delivery of clinical care, planned and assessed by the Registered Nurses

Job summary
We have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and proactive Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic therapy team within medicine. You should have a degree/diploma in Occupational Therapy, be registered with HCPC and experience of working in the NHS in the UK. The successful applicant will join our experienced integrated therapy team, working alongside occupational therapists, physiotherapists and the wider multidisciplinary team. We are looking for an individual who is motivated, enthusiastic and flexible in their approach to work. The ability to work well with all members of the multi- disciplinary team is essential. You will need to have excellent communication skills, be able to work as part of a team and be able to motivate patients.
You work will be based at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital and you will be required to contribute to the therapy weekend working rota. Being able to drive to support with access and Home visits is desirable.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will have no budget or managerial responsibilities. They will be expected to progress to supervise and appraise less experienced therapists, support workers and undergraduates, with the support of the team leader.
There will also be progression to taking on increasing responsibility for the day to day management of the clinical area, in the absence of more senior staff.
The post holder is supervised by a named therapist, although they may not be present at all times.
Clinical and professional supervision is in the form of regular clinical reasoning sessions, observed practice, peer review and formal training. Access to advice and support from specialist therapists isavailable as required

Job summary
We are pleased to offer two trainee opportunities for motivated and suitably qualified healthcare professionals to undertake formal Ultrasound training across Radiology and Women & Children's services at New Cross and Cannock Hospitals. Following the success of our training programme, trainees will complete the Obstetrics module and the Fundamentals of Ultrasound (Physics) module in their first year. Academic study will be undertaken through Salford University, with the programme commencing in January 2027.
Subject to funding, there may be further opportunity to complete the General Abdominal module.
Applicants must meet Salford University's entry requirements, including holding a relevant first- or second-class honours degree, or providing evidence of suitability for postgraduate study if applying with non-standard qualifications. Candidates whose first language is not English must meet the required IELTS standard.
Progression to a Band 7 Sonographer role is dependent on successful completion of training and professional qualification. Sponsorship for this post is conditional under the RWHT training policy and may require repayment under certain circumstances.
Main duties of the job

Following an internal promotion, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Physiotherapist with an interest in specialist medicine to join our integrated therapy team at Charing Cross Hospital.
The post holder will predominately be based on one of our 8th floor wards where they will help lead the team seeing a range of patients requiring therapy intervention prior to returning home or transfer to community rehab units. There will be a range of ages, conditions, co-morbidities and complex social situations to manage and the post holder will form an integral part of the multidisciplinary team, helping plan timely and safe discharges from the wards.

Would you like to join our friendly, multi-disciplinary Breast team at North Cheshire and Mersey NHS Foundation Trust?
We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic radiographer who either holds a UK regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF) level 7 postgraduate qualification in Mammography, or has a willingness to complete the Post- Graduate Award in Breast Imaging, for which you will be fully supported.
Our clinical breast service is based at The Breast Care Centre within the Captain Sir Tom Moore Building at Halton Hospital in Runcorn. This role is primarily clinically based where you will undertake a range of mammographic procedures as part of the NHS Breast Screening Programme and our Symptomatic Breast Service.
Part-time hours will be considered.

Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will work as part of our highly skilled team and be actively involved in producing high quality, diagnostic mammography examinations for the NHS Breast Screening Programme and our Symptomatic Breast Service.
You will contribute to our family history, breast cancer follow-up and screening assessment clinics. You will perform additional imaging including, magnification views and digital breast tomosynthesis, also assisting our Advanced Practitioners and Radiologists with stereotactic interventional breast procedures.
Rotation between our 3 static screening/symptomatic sites to include The Breast Care Centre at Halton Hospital, St Helen's Hospital (Burney Breast Unit) and Bath Street Health and wellbeing Centre. We also have a state of the art mobile breast screening unit which visits 5 sites within the 4 boroughs that our screening service covers.

As a department we are committed to working as a team to provide high quality patient centred care. We currently have a vacancy for a band 6 MSK physiotherapist with strong team working ethic who shares this vision. Our service receives referrals from our Hospital Consultants in T&O, Rheumatology and Pain. We also treat staff members and receive a small number of referrals from other Trusts.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will provide sound clinical expertise to more junior staff and coordinate and deliver high quality care. They will be a role model for expert clinical care, and lead on specific projects / service developments and management functions as delegated by the Band 7 therapist, Clinical Lead Therapist or APP Team. They will role model the identified Trust values at all times.
The post holder will work as an autonomous practitioner in providing physiotherapy assessment, treatment and management to their own designated caseload of patients and to maintain up to date physiotherapy records. They will use evidence based principles and current best practise to assess, plan, implement and evaluate physiotherapy interventions.
The post holder will provide supervision, teaching and support to more junior staff, therapy assistants and students on placement. They will participate in CPD and other developmental activities.

A fantastic and exciting opportunity has arisen for a part-time (30 hours) Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic stroke therapy team for a fixed term until 26th April 2027. You will be joining a supportive integrated stroke therapy team consisting of Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and Therapy Support Workers. We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and motivated Speech & Language Therapist (SLT) with expertise in Head & Neck Oncology to join our Speech and Language Therapy team at Charing Cross Hospital and a team of over 40 Trust-wide Adult SLTs.
As a valued member of the multidisciplinary team, you will provide a highly specialist service to inpatients and outpatients at any stage of their oncology treatment pathway. Surgery, radiotherapy, chemotherapy and immunotherapy are provided on site and we participate in weekly multidisciplinary clinics including Joint Head & Neck clinic, Radiotherapy clinic and a CNS/AHP-led Pre-treatment clinic.
The service is focused on driving forward evidence based practice and service improvements across head and neck cancer specialities, and team members are actively encouraged and supported to participate in CPD activities, audit and research.
Main duties of the job
- To independently manage a complex and highly specialist caseload of inpatients and outpatients within the speciality of Head & Neck Oncology/ENT presenting with communication and swallowing impairments.
- To provide a highly specialist evaluation, differential diagnosis and advice for adults with communication and swallowing impairment in the field of Head & Neck Oncology/ENT.
- To devise, develop and deliver highly specialist training and teaching in area of ENT/Head & Neck Oncology to speech and language therapists and multidisciplinary colleagues at local and regional level.
- To use evidenced based knowledge to target training appropriately to the needs of the multidisciplinary team and speech and language therapy colleagues.
- To demonstrate empathy with patients, carers, families and colleagues, ensuring that effective communication is achieved, particularly when ability to communicate is compromised by disabilities relating to Head & Neck Oncology/ENT.
- To participate in and develop innovations in areas of risk management, quality standards setting and clinical effectiveness.
