The Children's and Young Peoples Mental Health Core Stafford team is recruiting maternity leave backfill for 10 months.
In the role you will deliver a high quality, comprehensive mental health service for children and young people with serious and enduring mental health difficulties. The role involves managing a defined caseload with a focus on working with children and young people and their families who experience a complex range of needs and difficulties.
Acting as a key member of the multi-disciplinary team, you will provide assessment, psychosocial, evidence-based interventions using a collaborative approach and will be skilled at-risk assessment and management. You will complement the multi-disciplinary working of the team, providing supervision for other team members, as agreed with the Team Lead.
You will participate in team and service development and evaluation. Liaison, advice and consultation with a wide range of agencies is central to the role.
If you are an RMN / Social Worker / AHP with current registration or educated to degree level in mental health/social care / equivalent experience within the mental health field of working we would love to hear from you!
Main duties of the job
- Take responsibility for the management of a complex caseload, which includes, specialist assessment (within service specification), and care planning in conjunction with service user and carer, evaluation of individual treatment plans for CYP with mental health needs.
- Responsible for participating in the setting of quality standards, including the auditing, monitoring and reviewing of practice in line with current clinical guidance practice and
- Assess patient's individual care needs, develop, implement and evaluate programmes of care.
- Deliver a range of interventions in accordance with the agreed plan of care and Pathway guidance.
- Complete and contribute, where appropriate to robust risk assessments and risk management Deliver and promote positive risk taking, where appropriate, to improve quality of life and maximise occupational performance/independence.
- Maintain an effective reporting system by observing and reporting verbally and in writing on patient conditions.
- To encourage and support service user and carer involvement and
- Attend and contribute to CAMHS Multi-disciplinary team, business and development forums
- Utilise agreed outcome measures to review the effectiveness of interventions, as part of the care planning and evaluation process. Assist in ensuring that the aims and objectives of the service are fulfilled and to identify factors which may inhibit these from being achieved.

Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and enthusiastic Clinical Psychologist to take on an important part-time role within our multidisciplinary inherited bleeding disorders team. You will work with physiotherapy, nurse and medical colleagues in a pan-BCU service to enhance the health and psychological wellbeing of people affected by inherited bleeding disorders. There are strong connections to parallel services in South Wales, the Haemophilia Psychology Association, Haemophilia Wales, and the North Wales Doctoral Clinical Psychology Training Course.
Main duties of the job
In addition to providing psychological assessment and interventions, the post holder will work collaboratively with service colleagues to foster service access and engagement, and thereby optimise the health care experience of service users. Leadership opportunities exist for service development, and consultation, teaching and support of colleagues. There are also opportunities to collaborate cross-speciality for the benefit of the population the service supports e.g. with colleagues working in gynaecology and obstetrics. Continuing professional development, research and the trainee support will also be encouraged.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

The Therapies Team at UHNM are looking for a Senior Physiotherapist to work within respiratory rotations. This is a rotational experience in Critical Care, Surgical Wards & SSCU, Medicine including NIV, Emergency Therapy Team which includes Accident & Emergency and Acute Assessment Unit, Frail Elderly, Palliative and Cystic Fibrosis.
Applicants will need to have on-call competencies and be experienced in working in a variety of respiratory areas within an NHS setting.
Main duties of the job
The post offers the opportunity to work in an exciting University Hospital. The hospital is a regional centre for Cystic Fibrosis, Non-Invasive Ventilation, Neurosurgery and Cardiothoracic Surgery. The University Hospital of North Midlands has a large Critical Care Unit and is a regional trauma centre.
This experience will give the post holder an excellent opportunity to develop their leadership and management skills as well as building clinical expertise that will enhance and broaden their clinical skills. Supervision will be provided by the Band 7 Therapists and Principal Therapists and continuous development is supported through appraisal, internal training and external learning.
The University Hospital of North Midlands is located on 2 hospital sites and the post works within a 7 day shift system which will include weekend, late shift, Bank Holiday and on call working.

You will be a key member of a multidisciplinary team, working closely with our residents to support all aspects of daily living, including personal care, while promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing.

Main duties of the job
Key Responsibilities
- To assist patients with all aspects of their personal hygiene care which will include; washing, bathing, dressing, continence and mouth care whilst enabling them to be as independent with these tasks as possible.
- To assist with mobility including; hoisting, positioning and assisting with mobility aids.
- To support patients with eating and drinking tasks, which may include the use of adapted feeding equipment, recording of food and fluid intake and feeding patients with an impaired swallow function.
- Responsible for providing proficient communication with patients and others in challenging situations, which may include supporting patients with complex communication needs and patients who present with behavioural/emotional challenges as a result of their brain injury.
- To participate fully in a 24 hour, 7 day week staff roster, including working Bank Holidays, as required by the needs of the service. Shift patterns may vary and include split days off. A high degree of flexibility is required.
- If working in a ventilation unit assisting patients requiring complex invasive mechanical ventilation support via a tracheostomy tube.

Job Summary

You will also participate and lead in quality improvement and service development projects to ensure best practice care, as well as to grow your service and generate revenue.
There is a lymphoedema service at Cromwell Hospital so lymphoedema experience would be beneficial. We are responsible for providing expert clinical assessment, treatment and diagnosis to patients with symptoms of lymphoedema, making timely decisions regarding their management. This can also extend to lipidoema and vascular conditions.

To have experience in managing an inpatient caseload including patients having breast surgery, general oncology and haematology patients. You should be comfortable seeing patients in an ITU setting. You will oversee palliative care and end-of-life patients and work closely with the Specialist Palliative Care Team. Participating in Palliative and End of Life care can be hugely rewarding but equally requires advanced communication skills and emotional resilience
Your role will be supporting our inpatients and outpatients to live well, with and beyond cancer. You will provide appropriate information, education and support for your client group and their carers

Job Summary
You will be a highly skilled physiotherapist who will be responsible for providing an advanced standard of physiotherapy care to oncology and palliative care patients, carrying out your clinical duties as an autonomous practitioner.
You will triage and manage patient referrals from both inpatients and outpatients which encompasses an extensive variety of conditions, some of whom may have complex or chronic presentations or multiple comorbidities. Referrals may also include pre-admission and pre-operative assessment, post-operative intervention and appropriate recovery programmes. You will receive referrals from the wards, chemotherapy day unit, outpatient consultants and GP clinics as well as via external routes.
You will assist the multi-disciplinary team by contributing to planning, coordinating, delivering and evaluating the physiotherapy input to the oncology service at Cromwell Hospital. You will be a resource for specialist advice to the physiotherapy team and other professionals in this specialist service. You will also participate and lead in quality improvement and service development projects to ensure best practice care, as well as to grow your service and generate revenue.
There is a lymphoedema service at Cromwell Hospital so lymphoedema experience would be beneficial. We are responsible for providing expert clinical assessment, treatment and diagnosis to patients with symptoms of lymphoedema, making timely decisions regarding their management. This can also extend to lipidoema and vascular conditions.
You will establish and maintain efficient communication within the multi-disciplinary team (both internal and external) to ensure a holistic and complete duty of care. This includes verbal, non-verbal or written communication, both in expression and active listening, to facilitate accurate comprehension of information.
You may be required to participate in the respiratory on-call service. You will have the opportunity to cover the weekend service as additional bank shifts.

Job summary
Havant and Petersfield CAMHS has an exciting opportunity for a 12-month secondment for a BABCP-accredited CBT therapist.
This would be a full-time role within the Havant and Petersfield community CAMHS team, focused on delivering high-quality, specialist CBT interventions to children and young people with significant mental health difficulties (including anxiety, depression, OCD and PTSD).

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Physiotherapist to join the Long Covid and Multiple Symptoms Multidisciplinary Service. This role involves assessing and treating patients with complex symptoms such as fatigue, breathlessness, brain fog, pain, anxiety and sleep difficulties across clinic, community, home and virtual settings.
This is a unique therapy-led, medically supported service consisting of occupational therapists, physiotherapist, clinical psychologists, care coordinators and clinical support staffThe service includes two pathways; digital education programme and a Lambeth and Southwark face-to-face assessment, and interventions including 1:1 intervention or a face-to-face group programme. Interventions are provided in a variety of locations including home, clinic, community and virtually.
The post holder will contribute to all aspects of the patient pathway, including assessment, supported self-management and rehabilitation, participate in multidisciplinary discussions, and play an active role in ongoing service development.

Main duties of the job
- To perform specialised and advanced assessments and treatments as part of the Post Covid and Multiple Symptoms Service, providing home, outpatient and community-based assessments and intervention to patients across the pathway.

Job summary
An exciting opportunity to join the B6 Rotational Physiotherapy Scheme across The Royal Brompton Hospital and Paediatric Respiratory services at The Evalina, St Thomas Hospital, gaining respiratory experience from a variety of rotations.
Each rotation is 9 months and includes Cystic Fibrosis, Chronic Respiratory, Paediatrics and Critical Care and Cardiothoracics. There is a comprehensive training program on each rotation and an emphasis on quality improvement and research across the trust with 10 days of study leave a year allocated to each staff member.
Main duties of the job
To participate in the Band 6 rotational scheme which involves working across the Trust on different hospital sites in a range of critical care, ward settings and out-patient clinics.
To provide a specialist physiotherapy service in respiratory medicine, cardiothoracic surgery/cardiology services, paediatric respiratory and surgical services.
To independently perform advanced physiotherapeutic assessment of patients with diverse presentations and complex physical and psychological conditions to provide a diagnosis and deliver an individualised and specialised treatment programme of care.
To manage own patient caseload and be responsible for a defined area of service or a particular patient type, working without direct supervision.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Band 6 Acute Services Rotation within the Adult Speech and Language Therapy Service at Cardiff and Vale University Health Board.

This rotational post spans two hospital sites: University Hospital of Wales and University Hospital Llandough. Main duties of the job
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Speech and Language Therapist with the appropriate professional qualifications and relevant clinical experience to join our Acute Speech and Language Therapy team.
The successful candidate will have experience working with adults presenting with a wide range of communication and swallowing difficulties. You will be an effective team player with excellent organisational and time management skills, able to prioritise a varied caseload and work confidently in a busy acute environment. You will be adaptable, resilient, and committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care.
You will work collaboratively as part of multidisciplinary teams, building strong relationships with colleagues across the acute setting to support the assessment, planning and delivery of specialist interventions, as well as contributing to education and training within your clinical areas.
The Adult Speech and Language Therapy Service at Cardiff and Vale University Health Board is an innovative, supportive and friendly team. You will receive regular clinical supervision and support from experienced Clinical Lead Speech and Language Therapists, with opportunities to contribute to service development, quality improvement initiatives, audit and service evaluation.

We have a permanent post at Band 4 full time for a dynamic and creative assistant clinical psychologist. You would be working with the Bromley Community Learning Disability Team (CLDT) based at Queen Mary's Hospital in Sidcup. Main duties of the job

Are you a newly qualified or an experienced Physiotherapist looking to work within a supportive, friendly, and dynamic therapy teams delivering Physiotherapy across a wide variety of rotations?
North Cheshire & Mersey NHS Foundation Trust is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Physiotherapist to join the Band 5 rotations on a 6-month fixed term contract. The successful candidate will join the therapy teams that work across a variety of inpatient, outpatient, intermediate care, and community settings and rotate every 6 months across a wide range of areas including:
- Acute medical including our award-winning dementia unit,
- Neuro rehabilitation inpatients,
- Trauma & Orthopaedics (including Paediatrics) inpatients,
- Respiratory (including critical care unit) inpatients,
- General Surgery rehabilitation inpatients,
- Neuro rehabilitation Outpatients,
- Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Outpatients
- Intermediate Care & Frailty Service
- Halton Community Therapy team

Main duties of the job
Within this role you will be expected to work as an autonomous Physiotherapistto provide assessment, diagnosis and treatment of patients presenting with a range of conditions. This may be in a range of settings within the Hospital or Community.
Some of our teams offer a weekend working rota which you will be expected to contribute to in-line with delivering seven-day services.

Workforce Transformation Clinical Lead - Audiology

This is an exciting opportunity to join HEIW on a secondment basis to support transformation in audiology across NHS Wales.
The post is a 0.5 whole-time equivalent role (18.75 hours per week) offered on a part time, flexible basis to be agreed. The post is open to registered professionals working in NHS Wales currently; those working within healthcare science, AHP, nursing, midwifery or other professions are equally welcome to apply.
The postholder will work alongside audiology service leads and the HEIW Associate Director for Workforce Transformation (Healthcare Science). Leading a 11 month project, the postholder will support developments towards transformation in audiology. The postholder will be responsible for supporting the ambitions of A Healthier Wales, the Healthcare Science in NHS Wales: Looking Forward Framework and the Future Approach for Audiology Services.

Main duties of the job
This role within the HEIW Nursing and Health Professions Transformation and Quality Directorate is funded to support the Welsh Government Future Approach for Audiology Services. The role encompasses leadership, strategic planning, and management of key aspects of audiology transformation. As such the postholder will be required to work in a matrix style management arrangement with the HEIW Associate Director of Healthcare Science Workforce Transformation as well as working closely with audiology, medical physics and clinical engineering service leads and colleagues from health boards and trusts of NHS Wales.
This is an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Registered Professional to work at a national level to develop and lead a strategic programme of work to lead the delivery of the priority actions across workforce transformation.
The focus for the 2026/27 secondment is on optimising acoustic standards in audiology services. The secondee will work with services across Wales to address variability in acoustic conditions through initial benchmarking, developing and implementing a standardised, sustainable protocol of ambient noise monitoring in the clinical settings, creating an associated skills framework for the audiology workforce, and developing a national plan for improvement.
This post is secondment until 31/08/2027 due to funding.

The Hospital is located in Abergavenny, South Wales and is within easy reach of the M4, M5 and national rail networks. The service support referrals from across the country and our experienced multi-disciplinary team has an excellent record in delivering positive outcomes to service users with a wide range of mental health diagnosis.
