Wombat Ward is a 16-bed paediatric level 3 inpatient unit providing care for general, surgical, orthopaedic and mental health paediatric patients aged 0–17 years. The ward delivers excellence in healthcare through a strong multidisciplinary approach, ensuring improved outcomes for patients and the Tasmanian community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care across a range of patient presentations.
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Support patients and their families through their healthcare journey.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Mentor junior nurses and students to foster professional growth.

We have a long term locum post available for an experienced Senior Registrar in Paediatrics.
Our client is a prestigious private hospital group based in the Harley Street region of London, opening a new Paediatric Unit.
Start/End
This post will run from the end of March or beginning of April with no set end date, this is an ongoing locum post and therefore require a doctor who can commit long term, or, 2 to 3 months at a time.
Shifts are Monday to Friday, 0800 – 2000 (12 hour days) with no weekends.
The role will involve:
• Clerking
• Daily care of Paediatric patients (aged 3 to 18) in the surgical day unit
• Assist with outpatients
• Be able to lead and administer appropriate care for medical emergencies on site
You will be working with a Consultant and nursing team.

Main duties of the job
The post covers the geographic sector area of Ashton under Lyne, which is part of the North Community Mental Health Team (CMHT) catchment area. The post holder will be responsible for all psychiatric patients in their sector, providing their community care. They will no longer be responsible for their care on the wards, this work will be done by dedicated inpatient consultants. The post holder will negotiate a timetable with the Line Manager.
The post holder will share access to all facilities within the service and work closely with members of the Multi-Disciplinary Team in the CMHT. The post-holder will have a lead role in the Multi-Disciplinary Team, both with respect to individual cases and with respect to the overall functioning and clinical targeting of the team. This will include Clinical leadership of the team, management of complex cases including care plan and treatment formulation plus guidance on evidence-based treatment and effectiveness.
In the community the post holder will attend weekly referrals meetings with the CMHT management, the number of referrals varies, on average three per week. You will take a lead role in decision making regarding the referrals for your own sector and work closely with community teams.

Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Outpatient Reception Clerk to work in the Radiology Department at the Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals Trust, which deals with over 280,000 patient appointments per year.
We are looking for a flexible and enthusiastic candidate who is an excellent team player, well-motivated and capable of working in a busy and challenging environment to join our Outpatient Department. Main duties of the job
As an Outpatient Reception Clerk within Radiology, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of a high-quality patient service across multiple hospital sites. Working as part of a busy administrative team, you will greet and check in patients, respond to patient and staff enquiries, book appointments, register radiology requests on the Radiology Information System, and provide a range of general administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the service.
You will be expected to use your own initiative, manage competing priorities, and seek advice when required. Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential, as you will regularly interact with patients, relatives and healthcare professionals, ensuring enquiries are handled promptly, professionally and with compassion. The role involves frequent use of IT systems and requires good keyboard and organisational skills. Previous reception or administrative experience is desirable, although full training will be provided for the right candidate.

Main duties of the job
We are looking for HCPC Registered Podiatrists with post graduate experience with a high degree of motivation and clinical skills, you will need a flexible approach to service provision with the ability to work as part of a team as well as individually. The successful candidate will be required to have excellent diagnostic and clinical skills to deliver a range of podiatry treatments including wound care, at risk and biomechanical interventions for patients in Bromley.Although predominantly based in a clinical setting, the role is across the Bromley Healthcare area with a small domiciliary caseload. As our new Consultant Acute Physician, you will join our well-established team in the delivery of acute medical care across the Medical Assessment, Short Stay and Ambulatory Care Units. You will be experienced in Acute Internal Medicine or General Internal Medicine recognised by the EEC.
Your main base will be at Peterborough City Hospital, however, cross-site working will be required.
You will become an essential part of a great multidisciplinary team working collaboratively across a co-located ED, AAU/MAU and Ambulatory Care Unit. We are experienced in making rapid clinical decisions while maintaining high standards of patient care.
We have created well-established pathways and policies that we frequently see replicated at conferences as 'ground-breaking'. An integrated Same Day Emergency Care services is in development providing rapid assessment of patients and streaming them to appropriate treatment pathways.
