Job description
Job responsibilities
At Care in Mind our homes are always a hub of activity and energy where the young people can feel safe, and our staff enjoy coming to work. Our young people can still be quite active at night so you will have lots of interaction and will be required to support them their wellbeing, education, household tasks and general life skills. There will also be more challenging aspects to the role such as incident management and de-escalation of challenging behaviours. You will be required to update online care records, complete medication administration and provide effective handovers to the day staff. In addition, you will be responsible for the general upkeep and tidiness of the home ensuring the young people live in homely environment. Even though you are working nights, you will have the support of another night worker or a sleep in and have access to an on-call manager for additional support.
At our home in Preston you will be working with young people who have a variety of mental health diagnoses including personality disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, those who have difficult relationships with food, and those who use self-harm as a strategy to cope with their emotions. This role requires patience, resilience, and compassion as you support our young people to navigate various challenges and develop new skills. When asked what qualities are the most important to them in a staff team, our young people have said they would like caring, honest, understanding, fun, and kind people to come and work with them. They love to learn new things and have a variety of hobbies and interests that they like to share with the team. Theyre also an adventurous bunch who engage in a variety of activities such as going to the zoo, museums, outdoor sports, theme parks, and escape rooms to name a few. Our young people are working towards moving on positively from the home into the community and are developing skills that support their independence and autonomy.
Florida House is a newly renovated 6-bed service located in Ashton-on-Ribble, the house is large and modern with spacious bedrooms and communal areas which includes a kitchen/dining area, two lounge areas, two bathrooms and one shower room. The house also has a fairly sized garden which is perfect for summer BBQs and outdoor games. It is a short drive or bus journey away from Preston Town Centre, there are also various local amenities such as Preston Railway Station; Preston Docklands including a cinema, shopping, food and beverage outlets; as well as local parks. The home is well cared for and staff and young people work together to make it homely and welcoming. Previous care experience is not essentialand full training will be provided. You will receive ongoing support and mentoring from our friendly residential and clinical team which includes Reflective Practice, 1:1 supervisions and Group Staff support.
The role will include some fewer fun aspects such as incident management, de-escalation of challenging behaviours, completing several online records, report writing, audits, and medication management.
Previous experience of working with young people who have mental health needs is essential and ideally you will have worked as a Support Worker in a similar environment. You will receive full training and ongoing support & mentoring from our friendly residential and clinical team. The job is highly rewarding and is an excellent development opportunity if you would like to gain supervisory experience and move into a future management role of which we will support the right candidates to do.

At our home in Stockport, you will be working with young people who have a variety of mental health diagnosis including personality disorder, those who have difficult relationships with food and those who use self-harm as a strategy to cope with their emotions. As such, you will be required to be patient and resilient as the support you will be providing to our young people will include supporting them to improve their relationship with food and managing incidents of self-harm. A number of our young people are preparing for moving on positively from the home into the community, therefore you will be supporting this transition through things such as: supporting them to self-administer their own medication, getting back into education, accessing public transport and appointments independently. Our young people are very adventurous and engage in a variety of activities including festivals, walking in the Peak District, visiting places like the cinema, Trafford Centre, indoor golf as well as having a stroll on a local park. There will never be a dull moment when you are on shift.
The home is a 4-bed service which is located between Stockport town centre and Marple giving the house the best of both worlds in the sense of being close to all amenities being near a town centre but also the opportunity to explore the countryside. The house is a large 4-bedroom detached property which is well maintained and homely, making it a lovely environment to work in. The garden is another area of activity and includes a trampoline, football nets, dining area as well as flower beds and vegetable patch.
Previous care experience is not essentialand full training will be provided. You will receive ongoing support and mentoring from our friendly residential and clinical team which includes Reflective Practice, 1:1 supervisions and Group Staff support.
The job is highly rewarding and a great start to developing your career working with young people or enhancing your previous experience of mental health with the opportunity for excellent career development.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive environment where pharmacists are valued as integral clinical decision makers. The role includes managing medicines queries, supporting repeat prescribing systems, improving prescribing quality through audit and education, and contributing to QOF and enhanced services. You will work closely with community, hospital, and specialist pharmacy teams to improve patient outcomes and access to care.
Clinical supervision, professional development, and integration within a wider pharmacy network are central to the role. You will support public health campaigns, uphold safeguarding responsibilities, maintain accurate clinical records, and contribute to continuous quality improvement across the organisation.

Job description
Job responsibilities
At Care in Mind our homes are always a hub of activity and energy where the young people can feel safe, and our staff enjoy coming to work. Your role will involve working with our young people to promote independence through support with education, household tasks and general life skills. You will also update online care records and complete medication administration. In addition, you will be responsible for the general upkeep and tidiness of the home ensuring the young people live in homely environment.
At our home in Liversedge, West Yorkshire you will be working with young people who have a variety of mental health diagnosis including personality disorder, those who have difficult relationships with food and those who use self-harm as a strategy to cope with their emotions. As such, you will be required to be patient and resilient as the support you will be providing to our young people will include supporting them to improve their relationship with food and managing incidents of self-harm. When our young people are preparing for moving on positively from the home into the community, you will be supporting this transition through things such as: supporting them to self-administer their own medication, re-engaging with education, accessing public transport and appointments independently. The young people enjoy in house activities such as arts/crafts, baking, cooking, board games and quiz/movie/theme nights. They also like going out in the community, on day trips to the beach or similar, shopping, eating out, bowling, walks, concerts and the cinema.
The home is a 5-bed service and is an Edwardian building with lovely spacious rooms including plenty of communal areas where young people and staff can work together. Alongside the house there is a fabulous back garden and large decking area, which are perfect for when the summer months bring the sunny weather to Yorkshire. You will be working with an established, experienced and diverse staff team who all have a passion for supporting the young people to achieve their goals and help them move on to full independence.
The job is highly rewarding and a great start to developing your career working with young people or enhancing your previous experience of mental health with the opportunity for excellent career development.

Your role will involve working with our young people to promote independence through support with education, household tasks and general life skills. You will also assist them with everyday life skills including shopping, building positive relationships, and going on holidays. We always encourage our young people and staff to bring their hobbies and knowledge into the home whether this be knitting, fitness, cooking or even singing so there is never a dull moment. Your role will include supporting them with their daily living - meal preparation, food shopping, prompting for self-care, medication administration, medical appointments, and general upkeep of their home. Our young people enjoy doing activities out of the home including clothes shopping, swimming, meals out, attending youth clubs and other groups, pamper sessions and cinema trips, which you will be able to support with.
The role will include some fewer fun aspects such as incident management, de-escalation of challenging behaviours, completing several online records, report writing, audits, and medication management. You must be a driver to be able to apply for this post.

At Stubble Bank, you will be working with young people who have a variety of mental health diagnosis including personality disorder, disordered eating, and complex post-traumatic stress disorder and those who use self-harm as a strategy to cope with their emotions. Several of our young people are preparing for moving on positively from the home into the community. Your role will include supporting them with their daily living meal preparation, food shopping, prompting for self-care, medication administration, medical appointments, and general upkeep of their home.
The home is a 6-bed service.
