This is a pivotal time to become part of our dynamic service within the new Women and Children's Building featuring a purpose built neonatal unitwithin the Women and Children's Building, designed to support Family Integrated Care.
Our unit is committed to delivering holistic, family-centred care, empowering parents to become active and confident partners in their baby's journey through structured, competency-based education and support.
Main duties of the job
As a Senior Neonatal Nurse, you will:

Are you looking to join Team Countess as a Healthcare Support Worker? We are seeking dedicated, motivated and hardworking individuals to join our Healthcare Support Worker workforce. There are two pathways into a Band 3 role, depending on qualifications and experience:
1. Qualified or Experienced Healthcare Support WorkerSalary: Agenda for Change Band 3
2. Trainee Healthcare Support WorkerSalary: National Living Wage (up to 6 months)
Eligibility - Qualified or Experienced Route

Are you looking to join Team Countessas a Healthcare Support Worker?
We are pleased to offer a training pathway for individuals wishing to develop their career as a Healthcare Support Worker. Following a recent change to the role, an NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent experience is now required to work substantively at Band 3. This training role has been introduced to support individuals who do not yet meet these requirements.
Successful applicants will be appointed to thepost for a period of up to 6 months. During this training period, salary will be aligned to the National Living Wage.
Throughout this period, you will be expected to:
- Complete and be signed off on the required clinical skills.
- Achieve the Care Certificate(if not already held) or complete the Trust's Practical Assessment Documentation
- Complete all Mandatory trainingrequirements
Once all elements of the training programme have been successfully completed and signed off, your pay will progress to Agenda for Change Band 3.
In addition, the Trust will support you to complete the NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Carein partnership with Cheshire College. This is a 21-month programme, delivered on site, and you will be enrolled at the earliest available opportunity.

Job summary
Working Part time: 22.5 hours per week
The Manual handling Trainer role helps to support with all staff training on Welcome Events, Mandatory training for all specialities and any bespoke training. To provide information, practical demonstrations and involvement and supervision within the Training room.
The Manual Handling Trainer will also support The Manual Handling Lead to comply with Manual Handling Policy, Legislation and audit compliance.
Main duties of the job
Plan, develope, deliver and implement training sessions autonomously and constantley evaluating each staff group, sessions and practical elements.
Monitoring all Manual Handling equipment in use around the Trust COCH and EPH, and updating database of equipment.
Assist and support the Manual Handling Lead to promote, and maintain safe practice throughout the Trust.

We are looking for a Senior Community Support Worker to work within the Ellesmere Port and Neston Community Response Hub, providing an early supported discharge service to patients from the Countess of Chester Hospital & Ellesmere Port Hospital. The post involves assisting patients with their activities of daily living, providing resettlement, rehabilitation & care to patients in their own home, delivered in accordance with the patient's Care Plan.
The post holder will support therapists and nurses with their patient caseload and have general administrative and housekeeping tasks as required to facilitate the smooth running of the service.
Main duties of the job
This person will also support the Band 3 Community Support Workers to manage their caseload and have some basic line management responsibilities. They will need to use their organisational and clinical skills to allocate work and react to service demands.
This person will use their clinical knowledge and excellent communication skills to reduce care as indicated and to refer patients on to relevant community pathways.

12 hours per week required to work every Saturday and Sunday 08:00 am to 2.00pm.
16.25 hours per week working 5 out of 7 days including working 2 out of 3 weekends.

Main duties of the job
Service areas include all kitchen and dish wash sections, hospitality and retail sections including functions, restaurants , Hospital shop, vending, and any other related areas including Ellesmere Port Hospital.
You will provide an excellent customer service to patients, staff and all visitors to the Trust remaining professional, polite and helpful at all times.
Duties include the cleaning of premises and equipment, food preparation and packaging, food service, vending and ward trolley service.
The role will include undertaking duties in a chilled and/or frozen working and storage environment, as appropriate.
You will take part in the preparation of raw food materials as part of the process to make our patients nutritional meals throughout their healthcare pathway during their time at CoCH. In addition, you will take part in meal(s) preparation for our staff and Trust visitors throughout the seven day week.
You will help maintain a clean and hygienic food prep & meal cooking environment in line with the National Standards of Cleanliness.
