Job summary
East Anglia's Children's Hospices (EACH) is looking to recruit a trusts & foundations manager to join us for 30 hours per week, worked as 4 days across Monday - Friday. The role is hospice-based, with the opportunity for some home working. Please specify your preferred EACH hospice work-base location (Milton, Norwich or Ipswich) when applying.
At EACH, we support children and young people with life-threatening conditions, and their families. We are seeking an experienced trusts and foundations manager to lead the delivery of our trusts and foundations fundraising programme, securing income from charitable trusts, foundations and grant-making organisations to support hospice services, projects and developments.
Main duties of the job
- Lead the delivery of EACH's trusts and foundations fundraising strategy.
- Develop and manage a sustainable pipeline of funding opportunities.
- Build and maintain relationships with charitable trusts, foundations and grant-making organisations.
- Prepare high-quality funding applications, proposals and impact reports.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop projects, funding packages and capital appeal opportunities.

This role is responsible for achieving agreed income targets, developing a sustainable funding pipeline worth up to £2M and ensuring funding opportunities align with the needs of EACH's services and the priorities of funders. We are looking for a Philanthropy Fundraiser to help grow our network of major supporters and secure significant gifts that enable us to continue providing vital care and support
The Philanthropy Fundraiser will play a key role in delivering EACH's philanthropy fundraising strategy by securing support from major donors, high-net-worth individuals and emerging philanthropists across East Anglia
Working closely with the Philanthropy Manager and the wider philanthropy and corporate teams, the postholder will cultivate and steward a portfolio of supporters while proactively identifying and engaging new philanthropic prospects
A significant focus of the role will be growing EACH's network of major supporters and philanthropists in Cambridge and the surrounding area, building meaningful relationships that lead to long-term support and significant gifts

The successful candidate will be an effective relationship builder and networker, capable of engaging senior individuals and influencers, identifying new fundraising opportunities, and representing EACH within philanthropic, business and community networks.

- Work closely with the Philanthropy Manager and wider philanthropy team to maximise income across the region
- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of new prospects, with a particular focus on Cambridge and the surrounding area

Working closely with teams across the organisation to understand business needs, develop reporting solutions and turn complex data into accessible, actionable insights.
