Main duties of the job

To provide an efficient and effective typing and administration function to the team. The post requires fast and accurate audio typing skills, and a sound knowledge of medical terminology.

Good communication, organisational skills, and previous secretarial experience is essential as is experience of dealing with sensitive information. Knowledge of medical terminology and previous experience using hospital based IT systems such as Solventum, Meditech Expanse and Electronic Patient Records will be advantageous.

East Cheshire Podiatry service provides routine podiatry for high risk patients and specialist services including wound care, nail surgery, biomechanical assessment and orthotic provision, and a domiciliary service.

The service is offered in variety of settings across a large geographical area, including hospital inpatients, community clinics, health centres and GP surgeries providing a range of advanced clinicalfootservices to the local population.

You must hold a BSc (Hons) in Podiatry or a Diploma in Podiatric Medicine, together with a Certificate in Local Anaesthesia. Evidence of Continued Professional Development is also essential.

Experience of working in the community and NHS is beneficial.

The successful candidate will need to be a team player with excellent clinical, communication and organisational skills. The role of a Specialist Podiatrist in the Podiatry Service is to undertake triage, assessment and treatment of referred patients. To undertake work in specialist area of woundcare.

To support the Team Managers and Advanced Clinical Specialists in the day to day running of the clinics and to assist in service improvement initiatives in area of work.

The Acute and integrated community care directorate at Macclesfield District General Hospital is looking for 4 highly motivated and dynamic medical registrars to apply for a vacancy within our Acute Medicine team on a fixed term contract for 6 months.

We are excited to offer this opportunity at a pivotal time of development for the service. With secured funding for a brand new 8 bedded Acute Medical Receiving Unit scheduled to open in June 2026, this post will place the successful candidates at the heart of an ambitious andprogressive transformation in the hospitals acute care delivery.

The basic salary for this role is outlined above based on a 40 hour working week. In addition, there will be enhancements for additional rostered hours (over 40), night rate hours and weekend working allowance in line with the relevant Nodal Point under the new Resident Doctor Contract 2016 pay scales. The value of the enhancement for the role can be provided upon request, however, this is subject to any future rota changes in line with service need.

This post is available for a fixed term from February 2027 to August 2027.

Hours per week: 40 (inclusive on 1 in 16 on-call rota)

Main duties of the job

Duties include;

o Assessment and management of patients on MAU, AMRU and SDEC

o Input and attendance at consultant ward rounds

o Liaising with Multidisciplinary teams while formulating management plans

o Ensure all results are acted upon appropriately and in a timely manner

o Participation in Quality Improvement projects

o Participation in medical registrar on call rota (Must be able to operate effectively on-call

out of hours as sole medical registrar if required)

o Support and supervise junior colleagues

o Undertaking any necessary tasks identified and requested by senior staff

The successful candidate will participate in out of hours on call alongside ST3+ training doctors.

East Cheshire NHS Trust delivers a five-day, nurse-led Acute Oncology Service, supported by a daily virtual multidisciplinary team (MDT) led by Consultant Oncologists from The Christie NHS Foundation Trust, this is alongside a full day, weekly on-site consultant support .

Main duties of the job

This post is focused on the delivery of an acute oncology service (AOS). The post holder will play a key role in this service as well as monitoring its impact using a number of key metrics.

In addition to this the post holder will be a pivotal member of the Trusts Acute Oncology Team (AOT) and in the delivery of the service throughout the Trust. The post holder will provide early input of specialist care to oncology patients enabling.

The post holder will give advice and implement patient care in an area which requires specific clinical knowledge, skills and experience. The post holder will work alongside other clinical colleagues in oncology, palliative care, A&E, acute medicine, surgery, radiology and pathology to ensure quality of care to the patients is maximised. This will include the development of clinical guidelines & education programmes.

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified Mammographer to join our friendly and motivated multidisciplinary team at Cheshire and Stockport Breast Screening Programme (East Cheshire, Mid Cheshire and Stockport).

Screening and symptomatic services are offered at the Macclesfield Breast Screening Centre with 3 Siemens digital mammography sets, 2 with stereo/tomosynthesis capabilities.

Mobile screening in Stockport is provided on a mobile van with Siemens digital mammography.

Travel is essential to this role, so please demonstrate how you would meet these requirements. A genuine occupational qualification applies to these posts under section 6 of the Sex Discrimination Act of 1975 and therefore they are restricted to female applicants only.

This position is offered on a Bank basis which is 'as and when' required with no guaranteed hours, however it does offer you increased flexibility by selecting shifts to work around your lifestyle.

Job summary

East Cheshire NHS Trust is looking to appoint enthusiastic, self-motivated and compassionate people to join our team of Clinical Support Workers.

We are looking for Clinical Support Workers who are capable of working in a busy, challenging and rewarding environment who possess excellent communication skills, can maintain a high degree of confidentiality and are able to work to deadlines, provide excellent personal care to our patients and work as part of team.

Duties will include providing a high standard of care by attending to aspects of patient personal hygiene, maintaining patient tissue integrity and providing pressure area care, recording of observations, liaising with the patient's families and the general public and supporting your colleagues in providing a positive experience for the patient. Providing patients with food and drink and assisting where needed
