Job summary
Mental Health Nurse with experience in working with older adults. The post holder will manage a caseload and provide structured guidance, supervision, and support to the broader neighbourhood team, including other mental health professionals, GPs, and staff from the voluntary sector.
This role involves promoting awareness and best practices for older adults facing mild to moderate mental health challenges, as well as those with more severe conditions.
The post holder will actively encourage positive attitudes and a consistent approach to the assessment and treatment of this patient group.
Main duties of the job
The post-holder will be responsible for overseeing a segment of Neighborhood Services and Primary Care Networks, ensuring high-quality support for older individuals facing mental health challenges. This role will require close collaboration with current services as well as the development of connections with other pertinent community resources. Experience in an Older Adults Community Mental Health setting is essential, as the position includes guiding and supporting colleagues who work with this population.
Responsibilities will include contributing to neighborhood referral meetings and serving as a liaison between the neighborhood team and various older adult mental health teams, including CMHT, Integrated Care, and the Diagnostic Memory Clinic. The post-holder will conduct assessments and interventions, providing structured guidance and advice to other mental health professionals, GPs, and staff from the voluntary sector regarding their practices with this specific demographic.
The role also involves raising awareness and promoting best practices related to older adults experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties, as well as those with more severe conditions. The post-holder will actively encourage positive attitudes and a consistent approach towards the assessment and treatment of this patient group.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Patient Safety Investigator to join the Patient Safety & Learning Team on a 12-month fixed-term basis.
The post holder will undertake systems-based patient safety investigations and learning responses in accordance with the Patient Safety Incident Response Framework (PSIRF), applying recognised approaches including SEIPS and human factors principles. The HIUT exists to identify frequent attenders to the Emergency Department (ED) at the Royal London Hospital, Whitechapel. This new 10 PA post is based within the male low-secure part of the Forensic Directorate of the East London Foundation NHS Trust. It is suitable for doctors who have completed their Foundation training. Job summary
The post holder will be an expert in psychiatric therapeutics and provide a specialist referral point for all health and social care professionals working within the crisis and liaison pathways.

The Coborn Centre is located in well resourced, purpose built premises at Newham University Hospital. We currently work with 12-18 year old young people and their families. The Centre which opened in 2006 comprises of 12 acute beds, 16 intensive care beds and up to 9 day patient places. The service has led the way in the design of adolescent mental health facilities nationally.
The client group is varied and challenging. We have an eclectic and dynamic staff group and are seeking a candidate who has an interest in developing our current service, and delivering our clinical care in new ways. From the assessment, time limited interventions are offered both directly and through consultation with members of the wider multi-disciplinary team. A range of therapeutic orientations is represented in the wider team including psychodynamic, systemic and cognitive behavioural perspectives. Psychological input begins at admission and is focussed on enabling young people to return to their Community as soon as possible.
Main duties of the job
1. Ensure that clients receive a high standard of clinical care, while also mentoring junior staff to provide a comprehensive and suitable psychology service for clients, families, and caregivers.
2. Take a leading role in the advanced assessment and treatment of clients presenting with acute, chronic, or complex issues, co-producing formulations, interventions and challenging inequalities.

Ocean is offering a 0.8 WTE fixed term 12 month maternity cover for a band 7 psychologist or psychotherapist. OCEAN is a psychology-led maternal mental health service combining psychology and specialist midwifery to support women and birthing people who are experiencing moderate-severe mental health difficulties relating to baby loss, birth trauma and parent-infant separation. Occupational Therapy Assistant
The Forensic Community Learning Disability and Autism Service is part of the ELFT Forensic Service, with an overarching aim of reducing the risk of offending or reoffending of adults with a diagnosis of Learning Disability and/ or Autism.

- Under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, to implement agreed occupational therapy treatment plans by carrying out practical individual and group activities with service users.

Our Early Intervention Service provides a three year service which offers assessment, treatment and support to people (and their families) who are experiencing a first episode of psychosis. We also provide a year long service for people who are at high risk of developing a first episode of psychosis. We are seeking one full-time Assistant Psychologist to support the work of our Psychologists, psychological therapists, other Assistant Psychologists and our multidisciplinary team in the service they provide.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will work closely with the Psychologists in the team to provide structured assessments, file reviews and manualised treatments under supervision to individuals and carers who use our service. They will also support the Psychologists to manage the psychology pathway within the service with the collation and analysis and presentation of data.
The successful applicant will ideally have experience of supporting and facilitating CBT-informed brief interventions under supervision. They will also have a strong academic record with excellent written and verbal communication skills, excellent IT literacy skills and excellent skills in data collection and evaluation. They will also be able to engage positively and sensitively with people with mental health difficulties, their carers and their support networks, and be able to demonstrate an awareness of experiences and challenges that may face someone living with psychosis. The ability to work collaboratively with other professions is a central part of the post in order to provide holistic care within a biopsychosocial model.
The position requires the post holder to hold a driving licence and have use of a car due to need to be able travel across sites throughout Bedfordshire and Luton.

Job summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and creative Clinical Psychologist with considerable Neurodevelopmental CAMHS experience, to come and work in the socially and ethnically diverse borough of Tower Hamlets. Tower Hamlets CAMHS is a friendly, thriving and innovative service; ELFT has a strong ethos of Quality Improvement, and we are keen to continually develop our service.The service includes professionals from various disciplines including psychiatry, nursing, social workers, psychology, occupational therapy, psychotherapy and family therapy, who come together to provide high-quality holistic care for young people and their families.
This is a community-based post, across the Neurodevelopmental Team and the ADHD pathway within Tower Hamlets CAMHS. The post holder will directly contribute to the positive working environment within the service. The post holder will require a high degree of professional autonomy and self-management and will be required to account for their professional practice through appraisal and audit.
Main duties of the job
Within the Neurodevelopmental Team, the post holder will provide evidence-based episodes of care, assessments and treatment to young people with moderate to severe Learning Disability. The post holder will bring clinical psychology knowledge and skills to this team. NDT provide a broad range of evidence-based interventions including an established group programme (supporting behaviour, sleep, and a neuroaffirmative group for YP who have received recent diagnosis of ASC), Positive Behaviour Support, ASC assessment clinic, consultation to CAMHS colleagues and schools, and direct work with children and their families, which the post holder will contribute towards. The post holder will join committed and enthusiastic colleagues.
Within the ADHD pathway, the post holder will contribute to the assessment and treatment of young people and families in this pathway, as well as leading on service development/quality improvement projects in the service. The post holder will provide assessments and evidence-based interventions for children and young people with suspected neurodevelopmental disorders.

Job summary
he Tower Hamlets Community Psychology team work in partnership with local voluntary, community, and faith-based organisations. We aim to build on and strengthen community resources and are committed to providing accessible, client-centred, culturally and faith sensitive services.
The role of Senior Peer Support Worker within the team has been developed specifically for people who have lived experience of mental distress and of using mental health services, know and understand the value of working with communities, as well as significant previous experience as a Peer Support Worker (PSW). Through sharing their own experiences and helping to identify the strengths in others, Peer Support Workers will inspire hope and belief that recovery is possible in others.
Main duties of the job
The role will provide formalised peer support and practical assistance to local communities and service users in order for them to regain control over their lives and their own unique recovery process. Within a relationship of mutuality and information sharing, they will promote choice, self-determination and opportunities for the fulfilment of personally valued roles and connection to local communities. The Senior Peer Support Worker will lead and develop the Peer Support Services, coproduce training and consultation with other team members, and help establish service links within the local community.
The Senior PSW will act as an ambassador of Recovery and will work closely with team members, partner organisations and local communities to co-develop, through co-production,recovery-focused interventions that address the needs of those served including resilience and recovery, shared support, social connections and community engagement.
The post holder will work in partnership with stakeholders across the health and care system, such as GPs, mental health services, service user and carer experts-by-experience, and third sector/Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) organisations.
