Job summary
The purpose of the role is to assist the clinical team in the service and delivery of the care management of the practice population. The post holder works under indirect supervision of the clinical team and undertakes task and duties delegated by the clinical team or a suitably qualified regulated professional. They will work collaboratively with the general practice team to meet the needs of patients, following policy and procedures.

About us
We are a large practice with a patient list size of circa 15,400. We are a Partnership of 5, with 11 Salaried GPs, a nursing team of 5, an experienced managerial team of 6 (Practice Manager, Business and Finance Manager, Deputy Practice Manager, Patient Services Managers, Medicines Managers) and a friendly group of administrative and reception staff. We are a training as well as a learning practice and regularly have 6 Specialist Trainees, a Foundation Year 2 doctor and undergraduate students based here. We also offer learning opportunities to other grades and have a large apprenticeship programme operating for clinical, managerial and administrative staff. We are active in our local, supportive, Primary Care Network and have excellent relationships with external stakeholders.

Job summary
The Practice Manager is a key member of the team and expected to demonstrate senior management and leadership qualities. The successful candidate will have the ability to identify and implement the practices objectives using a combination of personal involvement, motivation of other staff and delegation when appropriate.

About us
This large 5 partner, GMS (General Medical Services) training and research practice has a steadily growing list size of c. 15,400 and is one of five practices which forms the Sale Central PCN (Primary Care Network) offering patient services to a combined list of c.63,500.
Whilst being clinically driven, the Practice also performs well financially and presents as a strongly democratic, happy and balanced team with good communication between the clinical team, partners and administration teams.

Finance
Working with the Partners; responsible for the finances of the practice,
Ensuring the organisational requirements of the practice contracts with NHSE are fully met and complied with
Supporting the partners to develop and implement processes to achieve clinical targets of QOF and enhanced services
Directly contributing to profit improvement by exploring areas for increasing income and reducing costs.
Analysing data relating to clinical commissioning as appropriate and contributing to planning and organisation, both at the practice and clinical commissioning level
Development and control practice budgets and financial systems
Preparation of financial budgets and cash-flow forecasts

We are a large practice with a patient list size of circa 15,400. We are a Partnership of 5, with 12 Salaried GPs, a nursing team of 6, an experienced managerial team of 6 (Practice Manager, Business and Finance Manager, Deputy Practice Manager, Patient Services Manager, Medicines Manager, Administration Manager) and a friendly group of administrative and reception staff. We are a training as well as a learning practice and regularly have 7 Specialist Trainees, a Foundation Year 2 doctor and undergraduate students based here. We also offer learning opportunities to other grades and have a large apprenticeship programme operating for clinical, managerial and administrative staff. We are active in our local, supportive, Primary Care Network and have excellent relationships with external stakeholders.
