Job summary
Our Clinical Services Division is seeking to appoint an Assistant Operations Manager to provide support to our Operations Manager and the Immunisation contracts across Cheshire and Lancashire and to drive further success for the organisation. You will work across offices with qualifying mileage paid, you will work closely with the Operations Manager to organise and co-ordinate our services and improve performance and productivity across our care contracts. You will need to be practical, flexible and have excellent proven people skills. Your support of the operations process will be crucial and have a profound impact on the overall success and smooth running of the regional offices.
This is a great opportunity for an ambitious person with energy and intellect to develop and progress with a growing team.
Ideal candidates will have knowledge and experience of the NHS. You will be a graduate or have equivalent experience with a demonstrable track record in project and people management. Applicants must have a full UK driving licence and be willing and able to travel between the offices and anywhere in the UK.
Main duties of the job
The purpose of the Assistant Operations Manager is to provide support to all Clinical Services personnel, key contracts and all personnel in the locality, acting as the first port of call for all queries and any issues which need resolving. With only unusual or complex issues being escalated to the Operations Manager.
The Operations Manager is responsible for overall performance of the locality Clinical Services team and contract delivery, analyzing performance and providing feedback, guidance and encouragement in order to impact results. The Assistant Operations Manager will support the Operations manager in doing this.
The Assistant Operations Manager will have delegated line management responsibility for Clinical Services support staff in the Locality, working closely with and supporting Locality Leads.
The Assistants Operations will have delegated responsibility for the service in the absence of the Operations manager, as appropriate and within the standing financial instructions for the organisation. With the support of the Clinical services Manager.

Job summary
St Helens North PCN is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic GP to join our Primary Care Network under the Additional Roles Reimbursement Scheme (ARRS), in line with the NHS Directed Enhanced Service (DES). This is an excellent opportunity for a GP to gain valuable experience working within an innovative, supportive, and multidisciplinary PCN environment working across the 6 practices in St Helens PCN North.

Main duties of the job
The successful applicant will join our friendly Urgent Care Hub team, working alongside one other GP and the Hub Manager. The purpose of the Urgent Care Hub (UCH) is to support the increasing demand in general practice for same day / urgent care and provide patients with increased and improved access to urgent care.
You will work in partnership with the six practices that make up the PCN, as well as with other ARRS staff and partner organisations, supporting the care of patients requiring urgent same-day appointments. You will play a key role in helping to redesign and refine how we deliver care to these patients, contributing to improved outcomes and service efficiency.
The Urgent Care Hub (UCH) which runs Monday to Friday, 10am to 6pm aims to help meet the growing demand for same-day and urgent care within general practice, offering patients of the PCN enhanced and timely access to urgent medical services.
In addition to carrying out urgent hub appointments which have seasonal demand, there is an opportunity to develop or bring specific areas of expertise in / to this role. The Urgent Care Hub (UCH) which runs Monday Friday, 10am 6pm aims to help meet the growing demand for same-day and urgent care within general practice, offering patients of the PCN enhanced and timely access to urgent medical services.

Job summary
We are delighted to be able to offer an opportunity for a highly motivated, ambitious individual to join our well integrated team.
The post is to commence as soon as possible for 12 months. 40 hours per week no on call.
The Fellowship will involve, in addition to the day-to-day PCI, a training in all CTO techniques and all aspect of complex PCI including rotational atherectomy, laser PCI, and intravascular imaging under the guidance of Professor Mohaned Egred. In addition, there will be the opportunity to be involved in structural cardiac interventions, namely mitral valve.
The fellow will be required and expected to undertake research activities and publications, teaching and being involved in academic activities. Papers and publications are an integral part of the post and the fellow is expected to produce multiple manuscripts. In addition, database entry (local, national and international) for cases will also be an essential and important part of activities. There will also be administration commitment and periodic out-patient clinic involvement.

Clinical:
The successful appointee will work as part of the PCI team. Typical duties per week will include PCI lab sessions, clinic, administration, and time allocated for audit and research. There will be responsibility for the management of patients undergoing interventional PCI procedures.
Administrative:
Responsibility for recording data from lab patients in local and European databases, writing discharge summaries and communicating with General Practitioners.
Other:

Emergency and On-call Responsibilities:
There is no out-of-hours commitment attached to this post. It is not expected that the appointee will take part in the General Cardiology specialty registrar on-call rota but it may be possible to accommodate this if the appointee expressly wishes to do so and has suitable experience. This would involve covering CCU including direct admissions to the PPCI service and other cardiac emergencies. This is a 1:10 rota and is resident. It presently attracts a 2B (50%) supplement.
Education and Training:
The named educational supervisor will discuss the needs of the appointee at the start of the job and review them regularly. The appointee will also receive positive support from the Trust with regard to taking exams or additional qualifications, and will have access to a minimum of 10 days of study leave per year, plus additional days for Trust and (if applicable) MTI induction.
Audit and research activities of the department will be an essential part of this post in addition to teaching opportunities at the University of Central Lancashire. The appointee will be involved as a sub-investigator for on-going research studies in interventional cardiology in the department.
Accountability:

Clinical:
The successful appointee will work as part of the PCI team. Typical duties per week will include PCI lab sessions, clinic, administration, and time allocated for audit and research. There will be responsibility for the management of patients undergoing interventional PCI procedures.
Administrative:
Responsibility for recording data from lab patients in local and European databases, writing discharge summaries and communicating with General Practitioners.
Other:
Attendance and participation at the weekly revascularisation MDT meeting, other educational meetings and the relevant quality assurance programme. In addition to research and publications.
Emergency and On-call Responsibilities:
There is no out-of-hours commitment attached to this post. It is not expected that the appointee will take part in the General Cardiology specialty registrar on-call rota but it may be possible to accommodate this if the appointee expressly wishes to do so and has suitable experience. This would involve covering CCU including direct admissions to the PPCI service and other cardiac emergencies. This is a 1:10 rota and is resident. It presently attracts a 2B (50%) supplement.
Education and Training:
The named educational supervisor will discuss the needs of the appointee at the start of the job and review them regularly. The appointee will also receive positive support from the Trust with regard to taking exams or additional qualifications, and will have access to a minimum of 10 days of study leave per year, plus additional days for Trust and (if applicable) MTI induction.
Audit and research activities of the department will be an essential part of this post in addition to teaching opportunities at the University of Central Lancashire. The appointee will be involved as a sub-investigator for on-going research studies in interventional cardiology in the department.
Accountability:
The appointee will be accountable in their clinical duties to the consultants whose patients they are managing in the first instance, to the clinical director of cardiothoracic services and ultimately to the medical director of the trust.

The overview:
The post holder will be required to carry out general cleaning duties to the recognised standards across the Atlas portfolio, to suit the needs of the business, covering for holidays, sickness and other periods as and when required on an ad-hoc basis.

Job summary
We require a nurse with (A&E / ITU) experience to undertake the role of a research nurse within the Acute Medicine Cluster. Experience in research would be advantageous but not essential.
The Research Nurse will work collaboratively within a team working on both commercial and non-commercial research studies within a flexible research workforce covering a 7 day 24 hour service.
The post holder holds responsibility for supporting the research delivery team in the co-ordination, recruitment, care and monitoring of research subjects at the Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The post holder will work closely with the senior research nurses and clinical lead in the completion of comprehensive documentation required by the Ethics Committees - local and national, for ethical review and approval of the research study.

1. The Research Nurse will support programmes for recruitment, enrolment, screening and retention of research subjects in accordance with protocol and International Conference on Harmonisation (ICH) Good Clinical Practice standards. 2. The Research Nurse will support the team in the planning and implementation of protocols in accordance with research parameters as set out by the Chief and Principal Investigators.3. The Research Nurse will contribute to appropriate data collection systems for patient data and monitoring data, in accordance with the research protocol.4. Main Tasks & Responsibilities

An opportunity has arisen to join Secure Services Guild Lodge as a Forensic Discharge Pathway Facilitator (Inpatient Social Worker). The post holder is required to be a qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration.
The Discharge Pathway Facilitator (Inpatient Social Worker) is an integral member of the Multi-Disciplinary Team. The Post Holder will work in close partnership with a range of agencies and organisations internal and external to LSCFT to offer social care input. They will take a lead role from pre-admission by completing a holistic social work assessment, identifying any social work needs, undertake family work, and support with discharge planning. This includes early identification of barriers to discharge, taking action to prevent any unnecessary delay to discharges.
Secure Mental Health inpatient care for Lancashire and South Cumbria is provided at Guild Lodge, Whittingham. The service has steadily expanded from it's inception in 1999 and currently has a range of inpatient and community services.
Guild Lodge has 144 beds and is made up of 3 Care Pathways:
Men's Care Pathway - Men's Medium secure, Low secure and step down wards
Women's Care Pathway - Women's Medium and Low secure wards
Forensic Brain Injury Service - Men's Medium and Low secure wards
Guild Lodge hospital site is situated in a beautiful rural area, yet close to motorway links from all directions of travel
Main duties of the job
This post will be suited to a Social Work England registered Social Worker with an interest and knowledge of Secure Mental Health and Offender Health.
The Post Holder will work in close partnership with a range of professionals, agencies and organisations both internal and external to LSCFT to ensure effective social care provision and discharge processes within Guild Lodge.
The Post Holder will take a lead role in providing a social care service to patient at Guild Lodge and facilitating discharge planning. This will include:
Demonstrates specialist skills to ensure all necessary assessments for a complex patient group for example Health and Social Needs assessments are completed in a timely fashion.
Demonstrates knowledge of complex mental, physical health, and Learning Disability and Autism needs.
Support with identifying the need for capacity assessments and liaise with the Local Authorities or the Decision Maker about this.
Attend Multi-Disciplinary meetings for example, Care Team Meetings, Care Programme Approach and Best Interest's meetings, and MAPPA meetings.
In-depth knowledge of individual patient's needs, requirements and wishes which will be used to formulate in depth assessments to facilitate funding applications and discharge into the community.

Job summary
We are looking for suitably qualified nurses to join our proactive team. Equally if you are a newly qualified nurse who would like a career in acute nursing, but are worried that it may be too early in your career we are also happy to ensure you can work on the unit and support would be provided to ensure you flourish.
We have 1 dedicated Education Facilitators who ensure that all are staff are trained and equipped to work within the ever changing ward environment. Newly qualified nurses will have a 12 month preceptorship with one of our experience staff.
We require excellent nurses who want exciting, challenging roles, to deliver first class high quality patient care. We are a unique unit that has an Enhanced Care Area (ECA) where we provide care to Level 1 patients. Each Staff Nurse will get an opportunity of a rotation to our ECA. These patients come directly from A & E. The ECA beds will take patients who require respiratory support, as well as cardiac monitoring in the acute phase of their illness, as well as other patients requiring a High Dependency Setting. Our staff have the opportunity to undertake blood gases; ECG's and undertake the Advanced Life Skills Course in order to maintain our highest standards of acute medical care.
An Enhanced DBS Certificate with the checking of the Children's and Adults' Barred Lists is required for this post.

An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Digital Services Department for an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual for the post of Clinical Systems Configuration Team Leader to join our Digital Directorate at Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust.

Job summary
The Adult Audiology service in East Lancashire is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our busy team. Our work covers sites across East Lancashire in both hospital and community based clinics, and we are committed to providing the highest standard of care to patients in our Area,
The highly specialised practitioner is a practicing healthcare professional who contributes towards and develops the provision of a comprehensive Audiology Service. The post holder will undertake clinical work at a highly specialist level daily, while working with the department lead.
They willdeliver expertise in the highly complex specialist assessment and diagnosis of hearing and balance problems. They will be responsible for some areas of development for the Audiology service.
Main duties of the job
Your role will include the below duties, with further information available within the Person Specification and Job Description:
1.The post holder will lead teams in Adult Hearing Aid Services This will involve specialistknowledge over several disciplines, that has been acquired over time.
2.Provide a high level of audiological rehabilitation and counselling. This will include complex adult hearing clinics, and adult side lead for paediatric transition clinics.
3.Be responsible for monitoring activity, capacity and demand for complex cases including potential waiting lists and raising any concerns with service lead.
4.Will undertake prioritising and triaging referrals to appropriate staff, ensuring necessary resources are available using the IT based booking and waiting list patient management system in keeping with both the 6 and 18 week pathways. They will be responsible for highlighting and addressing any referrals that may need to be expedited such as sudden hearing losses which can result in permanent hearing loss.
