Job summary
The Mental Health Act is complex and interesting. Understanding those complexities and maintaining an interest is essential to the success of the role. This is a Band 4 role as it holds with it the delegated responsibility from the Trust Board for compliance with those complexities. The Trust expects to receive a service that delivers and is responsive not only to service demands but also to changes in legislation.
The Mental Health Act Office undertakes to deliver that service, the work itself is relentless but ensures the Trusts compliance with the legalities of both the Act itself and the associated Code of Practice. Under the direction of the Senior Mental Health Act Administrator and direct management of the Deputy to the above, the Mental Health Act Administrator is expected to provide a professional, efficient and seamless service to the Trust in accordance with the provisions of the Act.

Main duties of the job
- Deliver Mental Health Act (MHA) services in line with legislative, procedural and Trust Delegation (2026) requirements with minimal supervision.
- Receive, scrutinise and arrange rectification of statutory forms in accordance with legislation.
- Provide or obtain advice on MHA legislation and ensure legal and organisational reporting requirements are met.
- Support the Tribunal Service and MHA Managers Panel with the administration of patient hearings.
- Maintain monitoring systems and electronic patient records, ensuring information is accurate, current and accessible.
- Work collaboratively with clinical and non-clinical staff to meet local and national requirements.
- Complete incident reporting and support the sharing of lessons learned where appropriate.
- Liaise with external organisations and stakeholders within areas of responsibility.
- Respond professionally and sensitively to enquiries from patients, relatives and carers.
- Promote the Mental Health Act Office service internally and externally.
- Support the production and reporting of MHA data.
- Contribute as an integral member of the Mental Health Act Office team, providing cover for colleagues as required.
- Assist with staff induction, training and development, offering guidance and support where appropriate.
- Work flexibly to maintain effective office cover and attend occasional meetings as required.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Community Hub Coordinator to support our teams and service users, within Community Health Services for Nursing and Therapy based primarily at St Luke's Hospital in Market Harborough, with weekends and occasional shifts from Springfield Road Health Centre in Leicester (Due to service needs, including travel between dual sites and limited public transport availability in rural locations, applicants must hold a full driving licence and have access to a vehicle. Free parking is available).
Our service operates 08.00 to 18.00, Monday to Sunday, therefore this post requires the candidate to be fully flexible and be able to cover all shifts (including weekends and bank holidays, these shifts attract enhancements).

Main duties of the job
The role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work independently across community settings, while maintaining flexibility and contributing effectively within a team. You must be able to use your initiative and adapt to changing demands.Duties include general administrative tasks and use of the electronic patient record system (SystmOne). Responsibilities involve processing referrals, managing tasks, supporting data collection for audits, and ensuring accurate data entry. The post supports Community Nursing and Therapy teams, Team Leads, and clinicians, including ordering and monitoring equipment and supplies. This list is not exhaustive.You should be highly organised, a strong team player, and demonstrate excellent communication skills.
Qualifications & Experience
- GCSE grade C or above (or equivalent) in English and Maths
- NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration (or equivalent)

The CAMHS Learning Disability Service is seeking an experienced and motivated Clinical Team Lead to provide visible clinical and operational leadership to a specialist, well-established multidisciplinary team supporting children and young people with moderate to profound Intellectual Developmental Disability and complex mental health needs across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland. You will oversee a team of approximately 25 staff, ensuring high-quality, evidence-based assessment, intervention and care across outpatient and outreach pathways. The role requires strong clinical credibility, effective team leadership and a commitment to safe, timely and person-centred service delivery. You will promote excellence in practice, service development, workforce wellbeing and performance. We are looking for a confident, compassionate leader with substantial experience in Learning Disability and Mental Health services. Experience within childrens mental health or childrens learning disability services is desirable but not essential. This secondment offers the opportunity to shape specialist provision and improve outcomes for vulnerable children, young people and families. We have an excellent opportunity for a Part time Band 8a Clinical Psychologist to join our Planned Care services providing input to the Homeless Mental Health Service (HMHS) specifically supporting people with substance use difficulties.
This is a 12 month, fixed term post, with a 15 hour work week, which can be worked flexibly, based at OSL House, LE19 1XU. The post sits within our award-winning Homeless Mental Health Service (HMHS) supporting a Public Health initiative to reach those who are rough sleeping with substance use difficulties within the City.
This role is expected to include some street outreach work and clinical work in venues where those experiencing homelessness feel comfortable (e.g. frequently from city centre hostels and day centres). The health and wellbeing of our team members is very important to us and we offer a robust induction period, as well as regular supervision and support.

Main duties of the job
You will work alongside two established 8b Clinical Psychologists who will offer regular clinical supervision, line management and ad-hoc support. You will offer specialist assessment, formulation and intervention to service-users. Indirect work will include reflective practice and psychologically-informed training and supervising others.
You will play a key role in service development, including in further nurturing a psychologically-informed service culture.
The post offers the opportunity to develop leadership qualities and a substantial part of the indirect work will be multi-agency partnership working. Crucially, these services view the difficulties faced by service-users within the socio-political context of their lives and you will be able to develop this aspect of your psychology praxis.

This is a full-time role to cover 9-5 Monday to Friday. Full time hours are 37.5 hours a week. Although full time hours are offered, we are happy to consider a job share which, for example, may consist of one person working in the morning and the other in the afternoon The Team provides comprehensive support to older adults with mental health problems. And consists of nurses; medics; Occupational Therapists and Psychologists.
As an Administration Assistant the West Leicestershire Team, you will be responsible for providing a comprehensive administration service to a specific area of the mental health team which will include supporting a clinical team, mainly by providing front of house cover to Main Reception, greeting a variety of people which could include other Health Service disciplines; Patients; carers; relatives and Contractors. You will need to be quick thinking yet operate within Trust Policies and guidelines.

As an Administration Assistant/Receptionist you will be the first point of contact for telephone enquiries and face to face from patients and referrers. You will be working proactively as part of the wider administrative and clinical teams including other services within the directorate of Mental Health and Clinical and Medical Staff. You will be processing referrals, data inputting, supporting the wider teams as per service needs and other general administration duties.
For this you will require good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, excellent IT skills and highly organised with good planning skills. The role includes telephone and written correspondence with patients, Service Users, liaising with family members/carers, GPs and other primary care services, other external NHS services or partner agencies, such as Social Care and the Police.

An exciting opportunity has arisen in the School Aged Immunisation service, for an experienced Registered Nurse with up to date immunisation experience.

Main duties of the job
Take Lead role nurse responsibility for a cluster of allocated schools.
Plan and co-ordinate school based / clinic immunisation sessions and home visits.
Assess children and young people to ensure their inclusion for immunisation/vaccination programmes meets the required criteria for administration under a Patient Group Directive (PGD).
Prepare and administer immunisations/vaccinations safely and competently in accordance with professional accountability local/national standards and guidelines.
Ensure the Cold Chain is managed in in accordance with maintaining the cold chain of medicines policy and audit/records are maintained.
Compliance with the medicines management standards throughout the process including robust awareness of immunisation history and contraindications to vaccination.
Assess and engage professional judgement to ensure parent / carer / young persons consent is informed in accordance with national and local policy/guidelines.
Assess and signpost children and young people to the appropriate named Healthy Together practitioner where additional advice and support is indicated for identified health needs.

Main duties of the job
As an HCA you will support the healthcare team in the delivery of direct patient care. Dispensing inpatient, outpatient, clinical trial, and controlled drug prescriptions in line with standard operating procedures.

Assisting in the delivery of the clozapine service.
Using pharmacy IT systems for dispensing, stock control, and medicines management processes.
Participating in medicines management activities, including patient drug histories and assessing patients own medicines.
Accuracy checking within a technician-led dispensary.
Supporting patient counselling and promoting medicines adherence.
Providing support to wards using the Trusts ePrescribing system.
Assisting with the daily running of the dispensary, including workflow coordination and query resolution.
The role requires flexibility to work contracted hours Monday to Friday, with occasional weekends and bank holidays on a rotational basis.

The service works with individuals experiencing acute mental health difficulties, where distress may be expressed in a range of ways and is understood within the context of each persons lived experience, neurodiversity, and social determinants of health. Your practice will be rooted in the principles of the Mental Health Act, Mental Capacity Act (including Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards), and Safeguarding responsibilities, ensuring care is lawful, ethical, and person-centred. You will work in alignment with the NHS Long Term Plan, promoting recovery, reducing restrictive practices, and supporting least restrictive, therapeutic environments. You will adopt a trauma-informed, neuro-affirming, and strengths-based approach, recognising the impact of trauma, adversity, and systemic inequalities. Care will be delivered through co-production, working collaboratively with patients, carers, and the multidisciplinary team to support meaningful recovery, choice, and autonomy.

Main duties of the job
Specialist Physiotherapist providing high-quality assessment, treatment, intervention, evaluation and discharge planning within multidisciplinary clinical pathways.
Deliver person-centred care across a range of settings, adapting practice to meet complex patient needs and maximise wellbeing and independence.
Manage a designated caseload, prioritising referrals and coordinating care in line with service priorities and Trust response times.
Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, patients, families, carers and external agencies to ensure a holistic, needs-led approach to care.
Contribute to service development and continuous improvement by promoting evidence-based practice, maintaining professional standards and supporting high-quality care delivery.

Main duties of the job
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate practitioner to join our Children and Young People's Crisis and Home Treatment Service. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Respiratory Specialist Physiotherapist to join our large, innovative community-based team working across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland on a 12 month secondment basis.

Are you an experienced Occupational Therapist or Registered Nurse with specialist knowledge and experience in eating disorder services, with an interest in clinical leadership and service development?
The Waterlily Inpatient Prevention Programme is an innovative virtual eating disorder service providing specialist, recovery-focused support to adults with a diagnosis of anorexia nervosa. The service works collaboratively across the provider collaborative, supporting patients across Leicestershire, Northamptonshire, Lincolnshire, Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire.
The Waterlily team is a dynamic and supportive multidisciplinary team which includes a Clinical Psychologist, Occupational Therapists, Nurses, Assistant Psychologists, Dietitians, Health Care Support Workers and Peer Support Workers. The team works collaboratively to provide holistic, recovery-focused care, drawing on a range of professional expertise and lived experience to support individuals throughout their treatment journey.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will provide clinical and operational leadership within the Waterlily Inpatient Prevention Programme, ensuring safe, effective, high-quality, person-centred care. Working with multidisciplinary and regional teams, they will support service delivery and development.
Clinical Leadership: Provide expert leadership and clinical oversight of assessment, formulation, risk management, treatment planning and evidence-based interventions. Support the team with complex cases and clinical decision-making. Promote recovery-focused, person-centred care, involving patients and carers in planning and decision-making. Ensure access to supervision, reflective practice and professional development. Manage safeguarding concerns, incidents and appropriate escalation.
Operational Leadership: Provide day-to-day leadership, ensuring effective service delivery and resource management. Line manage staff, including supervision, appraisal, performance and development. Support communication, workload management, workforce planning, recruitment and retention. Develop partnerships with eating disorder services and provider collaborative organisations, representing Waterlily at relevant forums. Lead service evaluation and improvement, using audit, data and feedback to inform development. Promote clinical governance, quality, safety and continuous improvement, ensuring compliance with legislation, professional standards, Trust policies and clinical guidance.
