An exciting opportunity has arisen on the Endoscopy Unit for the position of 2 x Clerical Officer Administrative Support/Waiting lists Clerk.
The successful candidates need to provide and maintain an efficient and effective administrative service in line with local policies and procedures.
To manage and monitor Endoscopy waiting lists to ensure that tests and procedures are carried out within the specified Government targets and agreed protocols.

Main duties of the job
Generaland Administrativeduties will include:
- Maintain an efficient and effective administrative service
- Routine duties include: answering telephone enquiries, updating the computer database.
- Checking the waiting lists on a daily basis, and checking any new referrals that may come through and adding them on to the IPM lists.
- Booking appointments
- Sending out patients appointment letters.
- Maintain professional standards in appearance, behaviour and punctuality.
- Excellent IT skills.

Job summary
We are seeking a dynamic Physiotherapist or Nurse to join the Liverpool Ventilation Service based at Aintree Hospital, to provide maternity leave cover at band 7 for 9 months.
Alongside existing ventilation practitioners, you will work in a senior role providing expert assessment and treatment for patients requiring ventilation. The role is based in the ambulatory ventilation team, providing highly specialised care in the outpatient setting, as well as inpatient in other hospitals, and in the community.
Duties include independent commencement, and support of patients on long-term non-invasive ventilation (NIV). Advanced secretion management skills would be advantageous, including assessment and use of mechanical cough augmentation.
Independent and collaborative working skills are both crucial to this exciting role.

Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is delighted to advertise a Colorectal Clinical Research Fellow to be based at the Royal Liverpool University Hospital, Liverpool. The post are available from 1st November 2026 until 3rd August 2027.
The colorectal clinical research fellow post is an exciting opportunity which will enable the post holder to develop a strong foundation in clinical research leading to a MD / PhD degree.
Main duties of the job
LUHFT colorectal has a robust research program, and research fellow will have scheduled protected time allocated for research activity in research themes exploring the role of data science and AI in optimising treatment pathways for CRC and colorectal polyps.
These will be under the joint supervision of Professor Marta Garcia, Professor of Health Data Science - University of Liverpool, Dr Suhail Ahmed, lead for CMCA bowel cancer screening program - Liverpool University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and Mr Muhammad Ahsan Javed consultant colorectal surgeon and Senior Lecturer - University of Liverpool. We are looking for a dynamic and motivated clinical pharmacist to work collaboratively and innovatively with the pharmacy team and help deliver cost improvement initiatives and projects for both LUHFT, WCFT and the wider healthcare system.

In addition to managing cost improvement projects, you will play a key role in delivering clinical services within the specialist medicine directorates. You will work closely with the multi-disciplinary team to optimise the use of specialist and high-cost medicines, manage resources efficiently, and enhance patient outcomes.
We have a fully integrated electronic prescribing system along with unique in-house systems to help you deliver excellent clinical care to patients and utilise available data and business intelligence to identify new opportunities for savings and efficiency.
LUHFT employs over 120 pharmacists across 3 sites providing clinical pharmacy services to all major specialties.
Main duties of the job
Assist the Pharmacist Team Leader Medicines Value in the development and delivery of a medicines value improvement programme with the remit of maximising value for money, assuring cost effective prescribing and medicines management.
Facilitate the:- approval, appropriate use, and audit of HCDs.- analysis of medicine usage and expenditure, to identify improvement opportunities and financial risk.-management and development of reporting mechanisms to provide assurance of best value medicines use.- maintenance and improvement of high-quality prescribing practice, reducing variation and health inequality.- reduce untoward variation where identified.
To act as the point of contact and provide support to clinical teams during medicines value project implementation,to enable them to make changes in line with the identified schemes and projects, and to agreed timeframes.
Liaise and support the pharmacy procurement team tominimise off contract purchasing;manage supply-chain disruptions; andensure that the most cost-effective dispensing routes are used for HCDs.
Support the delivery of the following duties amongst others:- administration of Blueteq approval system.- biosimilar switch implementation.- complete the annual pharmacy horizon scanning process.- deliver the medicines value education programme.

Job summary
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Band 3 Support Secretary to join our secretarial team within the Respiratoryteam. The post requires an individual who is resilient and adaptable to work in a fast-paced professional environment.
You as a successful candidate will be working alongside an established team of Band 4 Medical Secretaries. You will play a pivotal role in supporting the secretarial team in ensuring work is completed in a timely manner.
You will be responsible for typing clinic letters, chasing results and providing support for the secretaries and service.
You should have good communication and organisational skills, be well-organised, flexible in approach and able to use your own initiative in prioritising your workload.
Extensive knowledge of medical terminology is essential, as are audio typing skills.

The Royal Liverpool University Hospital has recently merged with Aintree University Hospital to form the exciting new Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and is looking to expand its current complement of band 6 Radiographers.
We are a friendly and hard-working department and are keen to recruit like-minded individuals. This is an exciting time for our department, and we believe this is a great opportunity to join our team ahead of future developments in our service
In addition to the merger, we have recently moved into a brand-new hospital with state-of-the-art equipment.
We are a multi-faceted department, offering a rotation through Computerised Tomography and Magnetic Resonance Imaging. We operate a CT and MRI shift pattern involving evenings, weekends and overnight CT duties, whilst maintaining the opportunity to enhance earnings through overtime.
Our Imaging department comprises of 5 new Siemens CT scanners that perform a diverse number of examinations on a weekly basis e.g. CT guided ablations, cardiac scans and colonography examinations. Additionally, we have 2 onsite 1.5T Siemens Sola MRI scanners and a 3T Siemens Vida as well as the exciting opportunity for training and rotation on a state of the art 1.5T Siemens Sola MRI scanner located at Broadgreen hospital. The Radiology department covers a wide spectrum of imaging examinations including Trauma, Stroke, Cardiac, Pancreatic, Vascular and Renal Transplant.

Main duties of the job
Perform specialist clinical duties by undertaking complex specialised radiological examinations in CT and MRI and all aspects of patient care associated with this.
To perform imaging examinations at a consistently high technical and professional standard.
Support Area Leads and take responsibility for the general department in their absence.
Assist with & support development of Band 5 Radiographers ensuring compliance with department protocols and procedures.
Take part in QA, Student Assessment and Audit/Research.
Post process image data and ensure a high quality of diagnostic information has been attained.
Maintain correct patient records and statutory radiation records to reflect the examination performed.

Job summary
Due to the expansion of the metabolic bone service we have an exciting opportunity for a clincial nurse specialist with experience in metabolic bone disorders to join our service.
The clinical nurse specialist in metabolic bone disorder will have good knowledge and experience of metabolic bone disorders and will work closely with the DMOPS consultant to provide specialist care to patients with metabolic bone disorders. The post holder will play a key role in the Metabolic bone disorders service and will take a lead on developing a nurse led service.
Main duties of the job
- Develop standardised pathways for assessment and treatment of patients with metabolic bone disorders, specifically osteoporosis
- Lead quality improvement projects to increase efficiency in the metabolic bone disorders clinic
- Develop new workstreams including CNS-led osteoporosis clinic
- Lead CNS osteoporosis clinic under the care of DMOPS consultant
- Liaise with DMOPS colleagues across the wards and FAU to educate and develop quality improvement projects for patients with osteoporosis
- Monitor re admission rates of patient with metabolic bone disorders and be a key part in admission avoidance of these patients
- Work cross-site with our Royal colleagues in clinical chemistry to reduce health inequity
- Manage a case load of patients under the care of a name DMOPS consultant
- If required Refer patients to various disciplines post assessment for ongoing care and support.
- The Clinical Nurse Specialist will act as the clinical expert and professional resource to the multi-Professional team, patients and carers within their Speciality Service.
- Monitor and audit effectiveness of the service by measuring outcomes pre and post induction including length of stay, quality outcomes and morbidity/mortality

Job summary
An Exciting opportunity has arisen for Band 3 assistant technical officer's within the Cardio Respiratory department to deliver Cardiorespiratory services to the Trust and as necessary, services to other LUFT Trust sites or other appropriate healthcare site.

Main duties of the job
The member of staff will undertakes a range of clinical physiology investigations either in performing direct duties such as recording ECGs, fitting and removal of ambulatory monitoring devices and spirometry, from patients, or in assisting Clinical Physiologists in other areas of the department.

We are looking to recruit a Receptionist to support the Axess Sexual Health service in Knowsley.
The service currently works across 3 sites:
- The Arch, Knowsley
- St Chads Clinic, Kirkby
- Halewood
Our ideal candidate will have experience of using Electronic Patient Record Systems, supporting basic patient triage and excellent customer service skills.

The Band 6 Urology Clinical Nurse Specialist will provide specialist nursing care and act as key worker for patients with urological cancers.

Job description
Job responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor the patient's cancer journey from diagnosis through treatment and follow-up.
- Facilitate referrals for investigations, treatments and specialist services.
- Arrange and support follow-up cancer appointments after MDT discussions.
- Ensure timely communication with GPs and other healthcare providers, including serious diagnosis notifications
- Act as the key worker for patients diagnosed with urological malignancies, providing continuity of care throughout the patient's cancer pathway.
- Coordinate patient journeys from diagnosis through treatment, follow-up, surveillance and survivorship.
- Ensure timely access to investigations, multidisciplinary team (MDT) discussions, treatment planning and appointments.
- Liaise effectively with urologists, oncologists, radiologists, chemotherapy services, primary care teams and allied health professionals to facilitate seamless patient-centred care.
- Attend and actively contribute to Patient Tracking List (PTL) meetings and cancer pathway meetings, ensuring timely progression of patients through diagnostic and treatment pathways.

Administration and Monitoring of Cancer Treatments
- Assess patients before treatment, identifying contraindications, treatment-related risks or concerns requiring medical review.

- Intravesical Bacillus Calmette-Gurin (BCG) therapy.
- Intravesical Mitomycin-C chemotherapy.
- Prostate cancer hormone therapy injections.
- Nurse-led cancer treatment reviews where locally approved.
- Monitor patients for treatment-related toxicity, adverse reactions and complications, taking appropriate action as required.

- Provide specialist telephone advice and support for patients receiving cancer treatments.

Manage autonomous and consultant-supported clinics including:

- Holistic Needs Assessments (HNA).
- Personalised Care and Support Planning (PCSP).

Renal Cancer and Nephrostomy Service Support
- Support Band 7 Clinical Nurse Specialists in the management of renal cancer pathways and complex urology patients.
- Assist in the assessment, review and ongoing management of patients with nephrostomies, ensuring complications are promptly identified and escalated.
- Undertake nephrostomy dressing changes and associated care following completion of agreed competency assessments and in accordance with Trust policies and local procedures.
- Participate in patient education relating to nephrostomy care and ongoing symptom management.
- Contribute to service delivery across renal and cancer pathways to ensure safe, effective and timely care.
Governance, Quality Improvement and Service Development
