This is a great opportunity to join the team to work on our Joint Replacement/Elective Orthopaedic Ward here on Ward 2.We are looking for an experienced HCA's with NVQ Level 3 to join the nursing team. Based at an excellent established and friendly facility on the Broadgreen site. Broadgreen has excellent staff facilities with onsite parking available. Close to the M62, with good bus and train services nearby.

Main duties of the job
Preparing patients for theatre.
Post-Operative care of patients (under the supervision of Registered Nurse) who have undergone surgery.
Assist patients in meeting their hygiene needs and carry out all aspects of personal care and grooming
Recording of patients observations. General observations of patients, reporting anything untoward to Registered Nursing Staff.
Documentation of care plans on PENS
Preparation and serving of patient's meals, drinks and snacks. Assisting / feeding patients as necessary.Reports patients dietary intake as indicated in the patients plan of careCarry out any movement and handling within the safe practice guidelines from mandatory training and in relation to the patient's manual handling plan.Assist in the prevention of pressure sore development as directed by the Registered nurse in conjunction with the patient's plan of care.Obtaining specimens from patients for ward or laboratory testing.Ensure due regard is given to customs, values and spiritual beliefs of patients and carers.

We are looking to recruit a Receptionist to support the Axess Sexual Health service in Knowsley.
The service currently works across 3 sites:
- The Arch, Knowsley
- St Chads Clinic, Kirkby
- Halewood
Our ideal candidate will have experience of using Electronic Patient Record Systems, supporting basic patient triage and excellent customer service skills.
The successful candidate will be working various shifts on a rota basis across the Knowsley, Kirkby and Halewood sites. Clinics are open Monday - Saturday with a combination of booked and walk-in clinics.

The advertised job is an exciting development to join the Cancer Nurse Specialist team in Urology. The successful candidate will join an established Urological Cancer team . We are a highly motivated cohesive team that has formed from the merger between the Royal Liverpool and Aintree University Hospital Urology departments.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidates will work with the existing team to deliver nurse led telephone assessment clinics and manages patients through the Cancer Pathways including; diagnostic imaging, biopsies, diagnosis and SMDT. Currently the service is delivered across Aintree and Royal sites . The merger between the two hospitals is a great opportunity to reconfigure our service to best manage our cancer patients in Merseyside.
The candidate needs to be an experienced Urology nurse with cancer experience. The job will include mentoring from our current team. LUHFT department consists of 18 ENT consultants, all of whom have developed subspecialist interests and many of whom have both a national and international reputation for excellence and innovation within their fields of expertise.
Outpatient work at Aintree is delivered in a new (2010) 8 roomed, fully equipped ENT outpatient Suite. We have a designated ENT / MFU theatre suite at Aintree with 5 theatres. The department is supported by a state-of-the-art audiological service providing all aspects of audio-vestibular investigations and rehabilitation.
A bi-weekly thyroid MDT and weekly head & neck MDT takes place in a designated video-conference linked MDT room.

Job summary
An Exciting opportunity's have arisen for a qualified Echocardiographer or Highly Specialist Clinical Physiologist specialised in Echocardiography.
You will be based on the Aintree Hospital site but will provide services to Broadgreen and Royal Hospitals. Given the nature of the department a flexible working pattern.

Main duties of the job
We are busy and dynamic department providing Cardiology services to Liverpool and the surrounding regions.
- To provide Echocardiography to inpatients and outpatients
- To perform Echocardiography independent to BSE dataset guidelines
- To report and analyse Echo results in line with BSE guidance
- To successfully line manage staff within your team with the assistance of the department manager
- To perform advanced techniques such as TOE, Exercise/ Dobutamine Echo, Bubble studies, Contrast studies and more.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for somebody with an experienced admin backgroundto join the Thoracic Medicine/Respiratory Team at LUHFT. The role will be based on the Aintree site. This role will support the Respiratory medics team in overseeing the Respiratory wards rota's and oversee the rota for utilisation of outpatient clinic rooms for the Respiratory service.
The successful candidate must be able to undertake all administrative duties including diary management, managing/ making appointments, be well organised, plan their own workload and work on their own initiative working to strict deadlines, both individually and as part of the wider team. To provide a comprehensive service as a rota coordinator to all respiratory inpatient and outpatient services as well as admin support for other speciality teams within the Respiratory service.

Main duties of the job
Reporting to the General Service Manager, the post holder will be a key member of the Care Group Management Team.
The Assistant Service Manager will be responsible for monitoring operational performance across the specialty and working closely with clinical and non-clinical colleagues to maintain and enhance service delivery and operational excellence.
The role includes supporting the delivery of specialty operational and administrative services, including the management of administrative teams and the monitoring of national and local Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) which include, RTT, DM01 and Cancer targets. The successful candidate will have experience in team management and possess the skills and personal attributes required to effectively address operational challenges.
The post holder will support the development and implementation of service improvement programmes and operational change initiatives within the specialty.
The Assistant Service Manager will also contribute to the management of specialty budgets and hold day-to-day operational and line management responsibility for designated services and functions. They will support workstreams that contribute to the delivery of Cost Improvement Programmes (CIPs) and contribute to achieving agreed financial targets.

Job summary
he Liverpool Community Respiratory Team hosts the Acute Respiratory Infections Virtual Ward, delivering hospital admission avoidance and early supported discharge for patients with COPD exacerbations, bronchiectasis, community-acquired pneumonia, and viral lower respiratory tract infections. We also provide nurse-led respiratory optimisation in homes and clinics, following NICE and local guidelines.
Medical leadership is supported by a Respiratory Consultant and two Advanced Clinical Practitioners, alongside a multidisciplinary team including a team leader, Band 6 and 7 specialist nurses, physiotherapists, an assistant practitioner, and admin staff.
This role involves assessing patients in two local hospitals for safe early discharge and delivering hospital-level care at home. Responsibilities include home visits to monitor health and treatment during exacerbations, holistic assessments, and optimisation of respiratory management. Strong communication skills and the ability to make autonomous clinical decisions at pace are essential. A commitment to audit, research, and understanding national and local respiratory priorities is required.
The service operates 8am-8pm, seven days a week, across multiple community locations, so flexibility and mobility are vital. This is an exciting opportunity to join an innovative team improving patient outcomes and reducing hospital pressures.

Job summary
We are looking to recruit aReceptionist/Admin Clerkto join our administrative team in this busy, friendly department.
The post holder will be based at the Cardio-Respiratory Unit at the Royal hospital and provide cover for a busy reception as well as the booking of cardiac and respiratory diagnostics, the main focus being the community ECG and BP service.
Applicants must display excellent verbal and written communication skills. Dealing with the public as well as colleagues in person, telephone and email communication is key to this role. This, together with carrying out admin tasks in the office will make this a varied and interesting role. Applicants will need excellent keyboard skills and have the ability to learn a range of computerised systems. Job summary
The Trust wishes to appoint a locum Consultant in Allergy/Clinical Immunology Directorates The post is for a period of 12 months.
The role will be based in Broadgreen Hospital and the successful applicant will work alongside members of the Allergy/Clinical Immunology department which sits under the Broadgreen site management team. Much of the work will involve seeing patients referred to the allergy clinic, primarily in an outpatient setting. Clinics are typically held in a structured outpatient environment, allowing for focused, patient-centred care and multidisciplinary support.
The post-holder will be expected to contribute to MDT and teaching during clinical sessions.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will:
participate in, and have a role in maintaining and developing allergy and immunology services, management and triage of the services and participation in the development of the clinical services for accreditation;
conduct weekly clinics for the investigation and management of allergy in adults;
supervise and manage the long-term treatment of patients with allergy;
supervise allergen immunotherapy, and challenge/provocation testing;
advise on the care of in-patients, in consultation with colleagues from other specialties;
contribute to the updating of clinical guidelines and protocols.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Acute and Emergency Medicine Care Group leadership team at a time of significant operational focus and service development. The post holder will be responsible for the coordination of staff wellbeing and absence for the domestic team. This role involves being the central point of contact for staff reporting sickness, managing sensitive information, recording absence data, and liaising with various departments, including payroll and occupational health, the creation & delivery of sickness reports
The post holder will also play a key role in supporting managers in the management of sickness absence and ensuring appropriate staffing levels are maintained by roster coordination.
Experience within a healthcare environment would be beneficial. In addition, due to the size and nature of the department, there may be occasional late finishes, and occasional weekend and bank holiday working. Flexibility is therefore essential.
The post is 37.5 hours per week, working Monday - Friday.
Main duties of the job
You will be a key member of the Domestics Management Team, working closely with managers in Estates and Facilities and the wider Trust to ensure that cleaning services are delivered in line with the National Standards of Healthcare Cleanliness 2025 and the Trust's required standards.
As Wellbeing and Absence Co-ordinator you will be the central point of contact for staff reporting sickness, managing sensitive information, recording absence data, and liaising with various departments, including roster, payroll and occupational health, you will provide a key role in supporting the management of sickness absence and ensuring appropriate staffing levels.
You will provide administrative and clerical support to include word processing of correspondence and reports, update and maintenance of spreadsheets and databases, use of software packages and be able to interrogate such systems as required. You will have excellent IT skills with the ability to create and maintain excel spreadsheets.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Dietetic Assistant Practitioner to join the Aintree LOSS specialist Tier 3 Weight Management team for Liverpool, based at Aintree Hospital. Applicants must have a Nutrition degree or Health & Social Care Assistant Practitioner Foundation Degree (or suitable equivalent qualification, NVQ level 4,5, HNC, HND). A keen interest in weight management, health promotion and behaviour change is essential.
The varied Dietetic Assistant Practitioner role involves supporting individuals in both 1:1 and group settings, and will include face-to-face, telephone and virtual appointments.
You will be part of a wider multi-disciplinary team (MDT) and will work closely with and be supported by the dietitians and physiotherapists in an effective and safe manner. You will attend monthly operational meetings and actively participate in MDT meetings.
The service has a strong commitment to providing a high standard of care and the post holder will work flexibly to meet the service needs. Main duties of the job

You will have the opportunity to work closely with service users in both group and 1:1 settings (telephone and face to face) to help them manage their weight.
You will be delivering educational topics at the group sessions, as well as assisting other health professionals in the safe running of groups.
You will take an active role in MDT meetings, and be an open communicator with the wider team.

Patient Access Centre at Liverpool Women's Hospital are looking to recruit x1 Full time receptionists to work Mon to Friday between the hours of 8am & 6pm

A fantastic opportunity has arisen within our Family Health Division for an Administrative Co-Ordinator. This position is part-time 28 hours per week and is based at Liverpool Women's Hospital.
The post holder will provide high-quality, comprehensive administrative support across a range of clinical services and programme activity, working flexibly as part of a multi-disciplinary administrative team. The role encompasses outpatient appointment coordination, referral and pathway management, clinical correspondence, data management, meeting support and general administrative functions, contributing to the effective and efficient delivery of services.
Main duties of the job
To have complete responsibility for the clinicians diaries, utilising an excellent knowledge of out-patient clinics, including face to face, telephone and virtual bookings, the duration of appointment times as directed by the clinician.
The production of letters which inform patients of the appropriate appointment times and media type. The bookings can require sensitive negotiations with patients relating to their availability for clinic, with consideration being given to the correct application of the Patient Access Policy.
To Support colleagues in the handling of complex bookings, and potentially complaints and PALs queries, in relation to allocated sub-specialty.
To Register new tertiary referrals for allocated sub-specialty onto PAS system within 48 hours of receipt ensuring Referral to Treatment pathways are started / continued appropriately.
To Undertake analysis of patient tracking lists (PTL) information to ensure appropriate scheduling of patients and clinics in the correct order and undertake data quality reviews and action as appropriate.
To maintain and update the clinician's follow up queues when clinically reviewed. Prioritise urgent patients, and ensure government targets for routine patients are being met. Highlight immediately, and in a timely fashion, any conflicts that might mean patient waiting time targets could be breached.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Infant Feeding Team at Liverpool Women's Hospital as a Band 3 Infant Feeding Support Worker. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to support families at a crucial time and to be part of a passionate, multi-professional team delivering high-quality, compassionate infant-feeding care. The post holder will support the provision of a family-centred maternity service, helping to ensure optimal care for pregnant people, women, their babies, and their families. Working as part of the Infant Feeding Team as well as midwifery and neonatal teams and external partner agencies, you will play a key role in promoting and supporting infant feeding across the Trust. You will provide high-quality, caring, and compassionate support under the direction, though not direct supervision, of registered professionals within the team. This includes offering practical and emotional support to families, contributing to education and promotion of infant feeding, and supporting the wider maternity and neonatal services in line with Trust values and standards. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a caring nature, strong communication skills, and an interest in infant feeding and maternity care, who is keen to develop their experience within a specialist service.
Main duties of the job
The Infant Feeding Support Worker is a key member of the multidisciplinary team; with their specialist knowledge they will support midwives in providing an insightful family-centred service based on current evidence and research. The Infant Feeding Support Worker will provide evidence-based knowledge and information for all aspects on infant feeding, and act as a resource and support for mothers in the initiation, establishment and development (maintenance) of breast feeding. The Infant Feeding Support Worker will actively seek the views of women and their families on the understanding of their care needs in relation to infant feeding and building a relationship with their new baby. The Infant Feeding Support Worker will assist the Infant Feeding Lead, Registered Midwives and other members of the multidisciplinary team in implementing care plans to support infant feeding. The infant feeding support worker may also be required to undertake some clerical, clinical and domestic duties to ensure a safe environment.
