1 x weekend position 15hrs per week. 8am to 4pm both Saturday and Sunday

As we are a healthcare organisation that is open 7 days per week, the successful candidates will be expected to work on bank holidays, including Christmas.
Please note that this is a domestic cleaning role and not a nursing assistant role.
Main duties of the job
Main duties of the job
1. Carrying out daily duties as instructed by the Domestic Supervisor.2. General / routine cleaning of wards, clinical and non-clinical departments / offices, communal areas, public areas and toilets in line with the local cleaning schedules asdesignated.3. Assisting in any infection control deep cleans as directed by Domestic Supervisors or Domestics Manager.4. Ensuring that all barrier nursing and infection related PPE is fully utilised in line with the displayed signs on patient doors.5. Ensuring that all cleaning materials are used in accordance with mandated facilities processes (e.g. one cloth and one mop per patient room).6. Ensuring that your designated cleaning cupboard and cleaning trolley is kept clean, is fully stocked to the agreed levels and is well organised at all times.7. Ensuring that all designated cleaning equipment in your area is thoroughly cleaned and appropriately sterilised after use in order to minimise the spread of infections. Thisshould include replaceable parts (e.g. filters in vacuum cleaners, floor pads on the buffer and scrubber drier machines).8. Carrying out cleaning in accordance with the local frequency schedules and procedures.9. Assisting with any corrective actions that may be identified as part of the frequentauditing of cleanliness and the patient environment.10. Ensuring that correct and safe methods of work are employed at all times with extracare shown to the safety of patients, staff and visitors

Are you a Speech and Language Therapist looking for an exciting new challenge? This is a unique opportunity to work within the innovative Experts at Hand SEND Reforms model.
We are looking for a motivated and forward-thinking Band 6 Speech and Language Therapists to join a dynamic multidisciplinary team, working alongside a Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist and colleagues from Occupational Therapy and Educational Psychology to develop and deliver the Experts at Hand offer across Trafford mainstream schools and colleges.
In this rewarding role, you will work collaboratively with education settings to support children and young people with special educational needs to communicate, participate, achieve and thrive. You will play a key part in delivering training, coaching and support packages, while also providing guidance to colleagues within the Experts at Hand team. If you are passionate about inclusion, partnership working and improving outcomes for children and young people, we would love to hear from you.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will contribute to the delivery and ongoing development of the Experts at Hand model, providing individual, group and whole-setting approaches in partnership with education professionals, therapists, psychologists, family support services, social care and other relevant partners.

As a Specialist Occupational Therapist within the Experts at Hand team, the post holder will work across health, education and local authority services to provide early, needs-led advice, consultation, assessment and intervention for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

- To be responsible for Occupational therapy intervention by setting appropriate short and long-term goals, training parents and carers and monitoring and evaluating outcomes.

- To maintain and develop service specification by assessing the needs of children at home, nursery / school, to determine the most appropriate intervention pathway, setting appropriate goals and monitoring and evaluating outcomes.
- To work autonomously to plan, implement and evaluate a specialist programme of therapy by reviewing their current situation in terms of condition, presentation, equipment, adaptation and commencing the most suitable intervention.

Are you a compassionate and experienced Occupational Therapist passionate about enabling independence? Trafford Local Care Organisation is looking for a motivated and dynamic Band 7 Senior Practitioner Occupational Therapist to join our dedicated Community Equipment and Adaptations Service.
You will manage a complex caseload, using advanced clinical reasoning to provide highly specialist assessments and interventions for service users with diverse and complex needs. Your work will focus on the provision of specialist equipment and major adaptations to help people live safely and independently in their own homes and local community.
We are committed to providing high quality patient care and to educating and developing our staff. Our teams are friendly and offer a supportive environment in which to further develop your clinical and leadership skills. Supervision, appraisal and professional development opportunities are provided and CPD is actively supported and encouraged.
Supervision of junior staff, rehabilitation assistants and Occupational Therapy students is integral to the role.
