Do you have experience with the delivery of mental health/ wellbeing advice and support to children, young people and their families? Or experience of working with children & young people with common mental health difficulties and behavioural needs?
The Mental Health Support Teams sit at the 'getting help' aspect of the Thrive model and work closely with the different pathways as part of the Children's Mental Health Function.
In the role you will be expected to contribute to undertake planned interventions with children, young people and their families as directed by qualified practitioners within MHST and/or Supervising Practitioners. This post is within the East Staffordshire team and covers Burton-on-Trent and Uttoxeter schools.
You will be responsible for working with colleagues in enabling schools to develop and embed their mental health and wellbeing strategies. This includes liaising with teaching staff and associated roles within the education setting, as well as with partner services and agencies. They will be involved in early identification and intervention of mental health need as well as delivering emotional health and wellbeingpromotion activities.
Main duties of the job
- To prepare, plan and carry out individual or group therapeutic interventions with children, young people and parents as indicated within the child / young person's care plan, with supervision and guidance from qualified practitioners.
- Complete planned reviews of care as requiredunder appropriate supervision.
- To be responsible for documentation and ensure that standards of record keeping are adhered to.
- To participate in and facilitate parent support and parenting skills groups.
- To participate in completing and reviewing risk assessments of the child/young person in terms of behaviour or mental health in relation to their circumstances, with guidance and supervision from qualified practitioners.
- Take prompt action to communicate any changes in condition, liaising with other members of the team, reviewing and amending the risk assessment/care plan as directed
You will deliver and contribute to the development of evidence based brief interventions on a range of health, lifestyle and behaviour related issues under the direction of the qualified practitioners and/or Supervising Practitioner. This may include: providing brief advice, co-deliver group interventions, guided self help, signposting, creating and distributing resources, assisting with delivery of WSA activities and supporting the development and delivery of our digital offer

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our ESR & Pay Services Team for a Payroll Officer to join our friendly and customer-focused team.
We are looking for a motivated individual with payroll experience to support the delivery of an accurate and timely payroll service. You will manage your own allocated section of the payroll, provide advice and guidance on payroll-related matters, and work closely with managers, employees and external organisations to resolve queries.
This role offers hybrid working, combining home and office-based working, with attendance required for training, meetings and service delivery needs.
The successful candidate will have previous payroll experience, excellent communication and customer service skills, and the ability to work accurately under pressure to meet deadlines. Experience of computerised payroll systems is essential, and experience of NHS payroll, ESR and NHS Pension Scheme processes would be advantageous.
Applicants should ideally hold an NVQ Level 4 qualification in Payroll Administration (or equivalent). However, candidates with substantial payroll experience and the ability to demonstrate equivalent knowledge and skills are strongly encouraged to apply.

Job summary
A new and exciting opportunity has arisen within our Pay Services team.
We are looking for a reliable and motivated individual with excellent customer service skills to join our busy team and contribute to the production of the monthly payrolls. Previous experience of working in a payroll environment would be advantageous but is not essential, as training and support will be provided.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing their own allocated section of the payroll and providing a high-quality payroll service to our customers.
This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, combining home working with office-based working. Successful applicants will be expected to attend the office as required for training, team meetings, service delivery requirements and to support collaborative working within the team.
You will be organised, process-driven, with the ability to prioritise your workload and work calmly under pressure to meet deadlines. You will be computer literate and proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. A keen eye for detail is essential, along with strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to explain detailed Terms and Conditions of Service, system processes and related information clearly and accurately.
An NVQ Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) is desirable but not essential. Candidates who can demonstrate relevant skills, knowledge and experience are encouraged to apply.
Main duties of the job
- Supported by the Payroll Team Leaders and Payroll Officers, to be responsible for a small allocation of the payroll.
- To work on specific tasks associated with the production of the monthly payroll which includes, but is not limited to, the validation routines.
- To work with the team to run, produce and validate the monthly payrolls, ensuring that payments are accurate and timely, and that T&Cs, policy and statutory legislation in relation to staff pay is complied with at all times.
- To provide a customer focused payroll service.
- To support and advise staff with payroll enquiries, via email, phone/MS Teams and post.

Staffordshire and Shropshire Health Informatics Service (S&SHIS) is a shared service hosted by Midlands Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust, providing digital and IT services to NHS organisations across Staffordshire and Shropshire.
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our Service Delivery Team based at Lawton House, Trentham. As a Service Delivery Specialised Services Administrator, you will support healthcare services through the administration of IT procurement and NHS Registration Authority (RA) services.
You will coordinate the procurement of IT hardware, software, telecoms services and related equipment, working with suppliers, customers and internal teams to ensure services are delivered efficiently and in line with organisational processes. Main duties of the job
- Manage the end-to-end procurement of IT hardware, software, telecoms services and related equipment for customer organisations and internal teams.

Our community nursing teams deliver holistic, complex care to housebound patients within their own home environments. The Portering Supervisor / Working Porter is responsible for the delivery and day-to-day supervision of portering services across designated sites. The post holder will lead by example through active participation in portering duties while supervising the portering team to ensure safe, timely and efficient movement of patients, equipment, materials, waste, linen, mail and supplies. The post holder will contribute to service resilience by coordinating portering resources during periods of increased demand, unplanned events and emergency situations.
The post holder will be expected to work as part of the wider Facilities team, providing an integrated and flexible service, and as such may sometimes be required to undertake duties within other areas of the Facilities Services Department should the needs of the service demand it. This will include providing supervisory support and advice to teams within other disciplines should the need arise.
Main duties of the job
Service delivery and operational management
1. Ensure that a comfortable and safe service user/client environment is provided at all times
2. Undertake additional reasonable duties consistent with the role to support service continuity, including emergency response and incidental support to service users.
3. Liaise with other Facilities services on site to co-ordinate activity.
4. To be the point of contact on each site for portering services.
5. All directorate staff will be required to act, up, down and across (within own capabilities and training) as required to ensure that an efficient and professional service is delivered at all times throughout the Directorate and the Trust
6. Supporting the Apprenticeship programme for Portering Services
7. Day to day supervision and a practical training of other team members

Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Health and Justice service for the role of Reconnect Navigator based within the Black Country to support the strengthening of the female pathway within the service.
Reconnect supports people leaving prison and immigration centres. We will work with people up to 12 weeks prior to release and up to 6 months after release unless their health needs are met before.
The post will be based in the community however forging strong links with the female prisons will be vital to support the transition for those females being released into the Black Country.
It is expected that the post holder will form a strong working relationship with the female pathway leads from local Reconnect services and with the female pathway champions across Health and Justice within MPFT to develop the pathway and support the development of others within the team.
Reconnect is part of an integrated service with Liaison and Diversion and Mental Health Treatment Requirement services as part of the Health and Justice Service.
This is an 'all age' service and so you will be required to work with people from the age of 10 years upwards.
Prison vetting will be applied for as part of this post however please discuss any concerns regarding this as we also welcome applicants with lived experience.

Main duties of the job
o Independently undertake face to face and electronic screening to support the identification of multiple vulnerabilities of people who have been in contact with the criminal justice system or immigration centre, such as police custody, courts, and prison and community settings. Bromley Ward is an acute inpatient facility for individuals over 65 years presenting with a functional mental health condition or early stages of dementia, requiring admission for assessment and treatment with a planned discharge into the community.

An exciting opportunity has opened up within the Inclusion Substance Misuse Team at HMP Gartree.
As a band 4 Recovery Support Worker you will be delivering evidence based interventions in a group and 1:1 setting with our service users.
You will carry a case load and manage that effectively.
Main duties of the job
You will be joining a well established, hard working team who will support you in your new role. Your day to day job will be to support the men in your care through their recovery plan. This will be through the delivery of group work session and 1:1 interventions.
You will support the Under the Influence Pathway and report writing and updating case notes will be an important part of your role
You will provide a range of low, medium and high intensity interventions as part of the substance misuse team to those service users experiencing substance misuse problems.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for experienced practitioners with a criminal justice interest, to work in the Sussex Health & Justice Liaison and Diversion Service. The post holder would be expected to work within the Outreach Team across the Sussex area. This will include providing high quality assessments of people attending Police Custody and Court, and supporting people with liaison and diversion to supportive services in the local area. The service will be delivered to people of all ages including those under the age of 18yrs who present with any vulnerability including but not limited to; mental health, physical health, learning disability, head injury, unemployment, housing, educational needs etc. The role will also specialise in supporting children and young people who enter into the criminal justice system.
Main duties of the job
The main focus of the outreach service is to support vulnerable adults and children to engage in the services available in the community. This may mean supporting people to health appointments, engagement in mental health and drug and alcohol services. Support is also provided with accessing online therapeutic interventions. The team provide psychosocial approaches and guidance to help address health inequalities and support approaches to help reduce the risks of reoffending.

We are delighted to offer an excellent opportunity for a NMC Registered Band 5 Triage Nurse to join our friendly and supportive East Staffordshire Care Coordination Centre in Burton.
We are looking for a passionate nurse who is innovative, motivated and enthusiastic with excellent communication and organisational skills to contribute to the delivery of a high-quality service within the community nursing environment.
You will contribute to the effectiveness and efficiencies of our community nursing teams by using your skills and nursing experience to support the team with triage of calls and referrals made to the community nursing teams. You will actively liaise with patients; carers and service providers to support clinical decision making and make appropriate decisions following comprehensive remote triage (using available information from referral information and electronic clinical systems) to ensure the safe management, in response to calls and referrals received by the community nursing service.
You are activity encouraged to develop skills via our CPD programmes, and you will be well supported by your peers and team leaders to do this.
Main duties of the job
As a Band 5 Community Triage Nurse, you will have professional and clinical knowledge of community nursing to provide remote triage of calls and referrals made to the community nursing teams in East Staffs.
As Part of this role, you will be expected to:
- Understand the scope of the community nursing service and the role of other MPFT and external services within each Primary Care Network. To ensure referrals are directed to the most appropriate service (including directing to emergency services where needed).
- Occasional delivery of care to patients in a community setting in order to maintain up to date clinical experience.
- Whilst not providing regular face to face patient contact the post holder will need to maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the clinical aspects of community nursing to resolve clinical queries over the phone and to enable effective remote assessment and clinical triage. This includes palliative care (particularly symptom management and support to families in the last few days of life); wound care; medication management; diabetes management; catheter and bowel care.
- Have supervisory responsibilities in the absence of the triage lead nurse; including coordinating the team; allocating work to team members; resolving and escalating issues; coordinating the daily huddle and group chat and representing the triage team on the community nursing capacity calls.
- Occasional supervision of students and new nurses joining the community nursing team.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Integrated Out of Hours Community Nursing Team as a Band 6 Senior Staff Nurse. This is a permanent role, with vacancies across Stoke-on-Trent, Stafford and Norton Canes. Successful candidates will be required to work across two of these bases.
The service operates between 16:00 and 08:15, seven days a week, covering evening and night shifts. This may particularly appeal to nurses seeking a flexible alternative to traditional working patterns.
We cover approximately 1,047 square miles, therefore a valid driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential. You must be willing and able to travel extensively across the locality to meet service and patient needs.

Main duties of the job
The role will focus on coordinating and leading shifts, ensuring the safe and effective delivery of care across the Out of Hours service. You will triage, assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for patients with complex needs within the community setting.
Working closely with colleagues across the wider leadership team, you will support the effective delivery and development of the service while maintaining awareness of the wider local and national healthcare agenda.

North Shropshire Community Mental Health Service provide assessment and evidence based interventions for people who presenting with complex mental health difficulties that are significantly impacting on their daily life alongside our partner organisations.
We are looking for a practitioner to the join our team to work alongside our primary & secondary care practitioners and wider partners to support the triage and assessment of those being referred into our service.

- To support the triage and assessments of individuals who referred into the service alongside the wider multi-disciplinary team that includes community mental health nurses, psychology, consultant psychiatrist, occupational therapists, peer support (lived experience) workers, health care support workers and housing and financial advisors.

Job summary
The Assistant Psychologist will work primarily within the Community Eating Difficulties Service (CEDS), while also providing psychological support to the ARFID pathway.
A key part of the role will be to contribute to multidisciplinary team (MDT) consultations, bringing a psychological perspective to discussions about children and young people presenting with eating difficulties. The Assistant Psychologist will work alongside the wider MDT to support psychologically informed assessment, formulation and care planning, under the supervision of a qualified psychologist.
Within the ARFID pathway, the Assistant Psychologist will have a specific role in developing and delivering an 8-week parent and carer workshop programme. The workshop will provide parents and carers with psychological understanding, psychoeducation and practical strategies to support children and young people experiencing ARFID.

- Provide psychological perspectives during MDT consultations regarding children and young people with eating difficulties.

Main duties of the job

The Housekeeping staff provide a clean and safe environment to our patients, visitors and staff ensuring that a high standard of cleanliness in line with National Cleaning Standards, infection control and health and safety are met and maintained.
The post holder will be expected to work as part of the wider Housekeeping team, providing an integrated and flexible service, and as such may sometimes be required to undertake duties within other areas of the Hotel Services Department should the needs of the service demand it.
Main duties of the job
- Maintain the required standard of cleaning services following the correct procedure and frequencies
- Undertake a variety of cleaning duties in line with the ward/area/location cleaning schedules
- Operate mechanical cleaning equipment
- Replenish disposables and consumables
- Safely and correctly store cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Carry out specialist cleaning and one-off cleaning duties in line with service requirements
- Assist with laundry duties as and when required
