Senior Psychologist Practitioner

The Role

You will:

Conduct specialist ADHD assessments and diagnostic evaluations Deliver evidence-based psychological interventions, including CBT Support adults experiencing ADHD alongside anxiety, depression, and other co-occurring mental health difficulties Provide clinical leadership, consultation, and expert advice across services Supervise qualified practitioners, trainees, and students Lead service improvement, audit, and research initiatives Contribute to specialist ADHD training across mental health services and partner organisations

About You

We're looking for a warm, compassionate, and experienced clinician who is passionate about improving the lives of adults with ADHD. Whether you're a Clinical Psychologist or a Counselling Psychologist. Holding BABCP-accredited CBT qualification would be advantages, but not essential. You'll bring a strong track record of delivering high-quality psychological assessment and intervention, along with the confidence to work with complex mental health presentations. You'll enjoy working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams, be keen to share your knowledge through supervision and training, and have a genuine interest in helping shape and develop services. Speech and Language Therapists are core to the efficient service delivery that we provide to children, young people and their families. As a Speech and Language Therapist in our service, you will deliver care to children, young people and their families in the community, schools and in the clinic setting. You will be working within our well-established, supportive and dynamic Early Years Complex Communication and Dysphagia Team. You will provide assessments and interventions for children with complex communication needs, including implementing AAC. You will also work in the dysphagia team working with children from the early years up to 19 years who are special schools. You will be a member of the Joint Assessment Clinic with the multidisciplinary team, working with Paediatricians, Occupational Therapists and physiotherapists with out most complex children.

Clinical:

1. To provide evidence based mental and physical health and risk assessments, drug and substance misuse assessments, interventions and reports, both independently and alongside other professionals within the Youth Offending Service locally and the multi-agency network.

• To provide specialist DBT assessments for young people presenting with complex emotional needs, drawing on structured interviews, self-report measures, behavioural observations, and collateral information from families, schools and professionals.
• To facilitate our Family Connections programme and help with the development of this new programme.
