Job summary
If you are an experienced Health Visitor, we would love to hear from you. We are looking to recruit motivated practitioners, to join our staff bank, with initiative and drive, and who are keen to contribute to the further development of our services. The post holder will lead and ensure delivery of Healthy Child Programme with a focus to implement early help/intervention so reducing health inequalities and improving health outcomes for individuals, families and the community. Health Visitors in NELFT will apply a family focused public health approach to Universal programmes and targeted packages of care and interventions as stipulated by the Healthy Child Programme. They will deliver intensive programmes for the most complex and vulnerable children and families.
Main duties of the job
The key responsibilities of this post, include but are not limited to: Use child and family centred approaches to address health inequalities, including the promotion of good health, the prevention of ill health and the implementation and evaluation of individualised programmes of care. This should involve the service user by developing child/family care plans in partnership with families. Monitor the health of children under five years of age and their families, and to involve the family in promoting optimum health and development of all children. Use strength based, problem solving/solution focused strategies and motivational interviewing skills to enable families to develop behaviour change strategies. Undertake home visits and regular reviews to support vulnerable families, groups and individuals giving information and support. Be aware of deviations from the normal in health and behaviour, and to intervene to protect vulnerable children and adults by prompt action, referral and working with other agencies as part of a specialist team.

Our localities cover large areas so you will need access to a vehicle and have the ability to travel efficiently across the county. We are looking for an experienced Mental Health Practitioner with a UK Professional Registration to join our MHST. MHST's are a new service designed to support Children and Young People (CYP) with mild to moderate mental health/emotional difficulties within education settings; ensuring they receive fastaccess to early intervention mental health support. You will be a senior clinical team member, holding a clinical caseload, supervising junior staff and trainee EMHPs. You will work alongside partner agencies to develop and co-produce training materials and support the delivery of whole school approach models for mental health. The successful applicant willhave completed the Supervisors Course - a requirement for the post.
Main duties of the job
The Locality Clinical Lead should: Have a current and in date professional registration with a regulatory body (e.g. ACP, UKCP, HCPC, BABCP) Have substantial experience (more than 2 years, post qualification) working therapeutically with children and families with mental health needs. In depth knowledge and experience of evidence-based practice with children and families (including CBT). Experience of providing and receiving supervision (including CBT-informed practice). Clinical experience and in-depth understanding of effective use of routine outcome measures. Enthusiasm for and knowledge of early intervention and prevention including low intensity support for emotional wellbeing and mental health difficulties in an education context. Knowledge of evidence-based interventions for low mood, selfharm, anxiety and common behaviour difficulties in young children in education settings. Knowledge and understanding of whole school approaches to emotional wellbeing and mental health. Experience of providing consultation in education settings. Experience of service development and multi-disciplinary and multi-agency working. Hold evidence of ongoing continuing professional development in a relevant subject.

The teams also have a strong focus on whole school approaches to improve mental health outcomes for children and young people.
Starting with NELFT NELFT place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust. All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will include mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment. As part of the process new starters will have the opportunity to also meet the executive team, senior managers and attend a number of drop-in sessions focusing on engagement, health and wellbeing and key processes. The induction will be held at our head office in Goodmayes, Essex.

Job summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Service to provide senior operational and strategic leadership across NELFTs integrated Children and Young Peoples acute and crisis mental health pathway, comprising Brookside Adolescent Inpatient Unit, the Young Peoples Home Treatment Team (YPHTT), and the CAMHS Psychiatric Liaison and Assessment Service. This is a key senior leadership role with responsibility for ensuring the three services work effectively as an integrated pathway, delivering timely crisis assessment, effective alternatives to hospital admission, safe and high-quality inpatient care, early supported discharge and seamless transitions back into community services.

Job overview Working closely with clinical and professional leads, the successful candidate will have senior operational accountability for quality and patient safety, patient flow, performance, workforce, finance, demand and capacity, regulatory compliance and delivery against commissioned standards. Clinical Nurse Specialist This is an exciting opportunity to join the Regional Prosthetics Service based at Mayflower Community Hospital in a permanent role. Clinical Lead Occupational Therapist We are seeking a Clinical Lead Occupational Therapist to join our Regional Prosthetics Service at Mayflower Community Hospital. This is a permanent position offering 28 hours per week, with a salary aligned to Band 8a (£57,528 - £64,750, pro-rated for part-time hours).
Main duties of the job
The Role As the Clinical Lead Occupational Therapist, you will play a pivotal role in the Regional Prosthetics Service by providing both clinical leadership and occupational therapy line management. This role combines leadership responsibilities with holding a complex clinical caseload, focusing on individuals with upper and lower limb loss referred to the service. You will lead the multidisciplinary team (MDT) in managing prosthetic rehabilitation and functional retraining for individuals with upper limb loss or difference. You will Lead and develop innovative therapeutic services to enhance clinical care pathways for individuals experiencing limb loss. Develop systems and processes to deliver service excellence across various clinical settings, including clinics, home environments, schools, and workplaces. Work autonomously and contribute to the teams strategic development of Occupational Therapy at both local and national levels. Maintain a clinical caseload, delivering care as an autonomous practitioner.

About Experts at Hand Experts at Hand is a pioneering multidisciplinary model designed to provide timely access to specialist expertise, helping schools, early years settings and families access support earlier and more effectively. The service aims to strengthen inclusion, reduce unnecessary escalation into statutory pathways and improve outcomes for children and young people aged 025 with SEND. Working across health, education and local authority services, the EaH (Expert at Hand) team will: You will be an integral part of the NELFT CAMHS Team in B&D. Provide early advice, consultation and intervention for children and young people with SEND. Support schools and settings to build confidence and capability in meeting needs inclusively. Deliver individual, group and whole-setting approaches. This post was originally covered by a full time specialty doctor but has now been converted into a new part time Consultant post due to the previous doctor leaving the organisation to progress their trainings. A lot of transformation has taken place already and continues to take place in Essex's Community CAMHS Services. This post is currently vacant, and we wish to recruit substantively to this post as soon as possible.
This post is part-time - 6 Programmed Activities (PAs) post with 4.5 Direct Clinical Contact activities (DCC) and 1.5 Supporting Professional Activities (SPAs).
On-call responsibilities: The postholder will be part of the Senior Psychiatrist out of hours on-call rota. The community CAMHS Consultants participate in an on-call rota with a current frequency of 1:7, with a 2% of basic salary, Category B on-call supplement. This rota mainly provides telephone advice to the crisis teams, which is the first port of call for children in crises out of hours, covering Southend, Essex, and Thurrock. The on-call shifts are from 17:00 - 09:00 Monday to Friday, and all day on weekends and bank holidays. The on call does not include support to psychiatric inpatient units or Section 136 suites, as this is provided by a different organisation in Essex (EPUT).
The successful candidate will work as part of multidisciplinary teams providing care to children and young people with mental health needs, across Chelmsford and Maldon in Mid Essex.

The Mental Health Support Teamsdeliver evidence-based individual interventions and group interventions in educational settings for children experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties aged 5 to 18 years old. The teams also have a strong focus on whole school approaches to improve mental health outcomes for children and young people. The South East Essex Mental Health Support Team (MHST) covers a large geographical area incorporating the districts of Southend, Castlepoint, Rochford and Canvey Island. Main duties of the job
We need an experienced Mental Health Practitioner with a UK Professional Registration to join our MHST. In this post, you will be a senior clinical team member, holding a clinical caseload and supervising junior staff and trainee EMHPs. You will undertake a fully funded Postgraduate Certificate/Diploma with:

The programme combines academic learning with supervised clinical practice, enabling you to develop both professionally and academically while making a real difference from day one.
University of East Anglia offers both a PGDip and a PGCert.
Postgraduate Route
Applicants for the Postgraduate Diploma must provide evidence of academic attainment at degree level or above.
Graduate route
We welcome graduate entry applicants. Applicants for the Graduate Diploma will need to demonstrate their ability to work at degree level and should provide evidence in their application of their previous academic attainment; this should include good basic numeracy and literacy qualifications at a minimum of level 2. Successful candidates will be offered a full-time educational programme specifically for the role. The course fees are fully funded (with employees signing a training contract), and the salary support for the job post will be funded at NHS Agenda for Change (AfC) at beginning Band 4. You will gain credits towards completing with a postgraduate degree diploma level qualification, plus guaranteed employment on successful completion of training, with a starting salary projected to be based on the NHS AfC Band 5 scale. For the training year, successful candidates will be employed by NELFT based in educational settings in across Essex. Due to the vast area covered by North East Essex, including rural and urban school sites, an ability to travel independently to school settings and university is essential.

Main responsibilities: To be responsible for organising and prioritising own and others’ workload in the day-to-day allocation of work. On-call responsibilities:
The postholder will be part of the Senior Psychiatrist on-call rota covering out of hours and weekends for Mental Health Services in NELFT.The on-call will cover service delivery for Children and Adolescents presenting with mental health problems.
The on-call rota is covered by the local community substantive CAMHS consultants and the two inpatient consultants. This rota is currently 1:13 rota, with a 3% Category A salary supplement. The rota would be 1:13, which equates to 4 weeks a year.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Health Visitor/midwife to take on a leadership role and join the new Pre and Post Birth Multiagency Team. The team will work jointly with Children's Social Care to offer an enhanced health visiting service throughout the antenatal period until 1yr post birth. The team will be co-located within Lynton House in Ilford to ensure good multi agency working. We are pleased to announce, that due to new investment, we are offering an exciting opportunity for a Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist to join our team within NELFT. We are looking for an enthusiastic, innovative and motivated individual to join our friendly department as part of our band 6 rotation scheme on a permanent basis. Rotations include H&N Cancer, Inpatient Rehab, Stroke and Neurology, Voice and Frailty. The post holder will work within the Adult Speech and Language Therapy team and have the opportunity to provide an effective service to patients across NELFT community sites, including the London boroughs of Barking & Dagenham, Havering and Redbridge.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will have a great opportunity to gain new skills and experience, and work in an exciting and dynamic team. They will be working with adults experiencing a range of acquired disorders of communication and/or swallowing. They will work closely with other MDT staff to ensure holistic patient care. The ideal candidate must be able to work independently as well as part of a team and have good time management and prioritisation skills. Adult Speech and Language Therapy are a respected and integrated part of the multidisciplinary team, with a positive record of developing innovative and patient centred services. The service runs weekly community videofluoroscopy and FEES clinics, and a monthly joint voice/swallowing clinic with ENT. The team pioneered a student supported Intensive Comprehensive Aphasia Programme and won a national Advancing Healthcare Award for their development of community laryngectomy care. The team is supporting clinical research projects, including the HARP aphasia study, and collaborating with local system partners to improve communication accessibility of services. CPD is actively supported through regular clinical supervision with senior speech and language therapists, appraisals and excellent training opportunities.
