For this role you will be educated to O level/GCSE standard with a Level3 NVQ qualification in a relevant field or equivalent demonstrable experience. The main focus of this role is to provide a high-quality business support function to the Continuing Healthcare team. It involves regular and frequent liaison with clinical teams in relation to ensuring that eligibility/care reviews for patients are co-ordinated and scheduled, ensuring that the team complies with the schedule of reviews for patients in receipt of funding.Liaison will be required with the following internal teams; other business support team members, CHC clinical team, senior management team within Continuing Healthcare; and external organisations i.e, Local Authority, Education, wider health and social care organisations i.e, GPs, hospice, Sheffield Health and Social Care Trust, Sheffield Teaching Hospitals.This role supports specific functions within the wider business support team and includes: Monitoring the team generic email box and distributing emails to relevant team members in a timely manner. Logging incoming referrals received into the generic email and electronic referrals
Main duties of the job
The CHC Business support role incorporates having oversight of the CHC teams main generic inbox where most of our referrals and communications are received. It is fast paced and requires accuracy but also provides variety of work across the working day.
You will be responsible for loggingincoming referrals on the relevant systems, updating outcomes once patients have received their assessment. Responding to queries raised from partner organisations, i.e, social services, acute hospitals, care providers, patient representatives. You will also be part of the main business support team in answering our duty line phone calls. You will also be required to take minutes for our Dispute Panel on occasion.
Full training will be provided.

This strategic role provides safeguarding leadership, advice and assurance, supporting the ICB to meet its statutory responsibilities in line with the NHS England Safeguarding Accountability and Assurance Framework (SAAF). Working with designated professionals, commissioned services and system partners, you will strengthen safeguarding governance, provider assurance, partnership working and quality improvement. You will support learning from reviews and audits, identify risks and help ensure childrens voices inform commissioning and system improvement.
We are looking for an experienced safeguarding practitioner with strong leadership, analytical and influencing skills, able to provide advice and professional challenge.
Main duties of the job

The postholder will:
- Support the Designated Nurse in providing strategic and professional safeguarding leadership across the South Yorkshire health and care system.
- Provide expert advice, guidance and constructive professional challenge on complex, sensitive or contentious safeguarding matters.
- Support the ICB to fulfil its statutory safeguarding responsibilities and provide assurance in line with the NHS England Safeguarding Accountability and Assurance Framework.
- Develop and maintain robust safeguarding governance and assurance arrangements across NHS-funded and commissioned services.
- Work collaboratively with designated professionals, NHS providers, local authorities, safeguarding partnerships and other system partners to strengthen safeguarding arrangements and improve outcomes.
