Job summary
Be at the Heart of One of the Biggest Transformations in Our History
In just 10 months, James Paget University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (JPUH) will go live with a new Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system as part of the Norfolk and Waveney University Hospitals Group (NWUHG) programme. This is a once-in-a-generation transformation that will fundamentally change how we deliver care, support our staff, and improve outcomes for our patients.
We're looking for an energetic, influential and experienced NMAHP (Nursing, Midwifery and Allied Health Professional) who can inspire people, build momentum and drive clinical engagement across the organisation during this critical phase of the programme.
Ideally, you'll already know JPUH AND our people, services and culture. You'll understand how change is experienced on the frontline and have the credibility and leadership skills to help our teams embrace one of the most significant digital transformations the Trust has ever undertaken.
This an exciting secondment or fixed term opportunity which will expose you to a huge transformation programme. As the EPR NMAHP for JPUH, you will collaborate with the other NMAHPs on the programme, playing a pivotal leadership role in ensuring our organisation is ready for go-live.
If you're looking for a role where you can make a real difference, influence change at scale and be part of a programme that will shape the future of healthcare across Norfolk and Waveney, we'd love to hear from you.
Main duties of the job
Drive engagement and readiness activities across clinical services
Work in partnership with the Clinical Change Team to embed new ways of working
Build strong relationships with senior leaders, managers and frontline teams
Identify and address areas of resistance, risk and readiness gaps
Champion effective communication and stakeholder engagement
Support operational teams through the transition to the new EPR
Contribute to organisational readiness, training adoption and go-live preparation
Help ensure a safe, confident and successful deployment
We're seeking someone who:
Is a strong clinical advocate with experience of leading organisational change
Has excellent engagement, communication and influencing skills
Can inspire others and create enthusiasm around complex transformation programmes
Is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with demanding timelines
Understands healthcare operations and the challenges faced by frontline teams
Can work collaboratively across organisational boundaries and professional groups
Brings energy, resilience and a relentless focus on delivery
Most importantly, we're looking for someone who is passionate about people and understands that successful digital transformation is fundamentally about changing behaviours, adopting new ways of working and supporting colleagues through change.

We focus on high quality, safe and compassionate care, supporting our growing elderly population and developing closer links with our health, social and educational partners. Listening to patients and carers so that we understand what matters, what works well and what we need to do to improve is also very important to us.
We offer onsite parking, and a busy bees nursery on site.Several local nurseries also within local radius

Endometriosis Surgical Fellow (ST6 equiv.)
Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital View all jobs
Posted 8 day(s) ago
Reference: 2362934
Job summary
This is a specialist Endometriosis Surgical Fellowship at registrar level, offered for a minimum fixed term of 12 months. The post is designed for doctors who wish to develop substantial expertise in the assessment, multidisciplinary management and advanced surgical treatment of endometriosis. The focus of the role is endometriosis: it is not a general gynaecology fellowship and the post-holder will not be expected to routinely provide general gynaecology service activity. The fellowship will provide intensive experience in specialist endometriosis clinics, complex elective operating, multidisciplinary team working, pathway development, patient communication and service improvement. We explicitly welcome applications from candidates who can demonstrate a very high level of interest in and commitment to endometriosis, including candidates whose training or qualifications have been obtained outside the traditional UK training pathway.
Main duties of the job
The post-holder will work as an integral member of the specialist endometriosis team and will report to the Service Lead for Endometriosis. The focus of all programmed clinical activity will be endometriosis. The post-holder will undertake specialist endometriosis clinics and elective endometriosis operating lists. There is no requirement to routinely undertake general gynaecology activity but the postholder will contribute to the Obstetric and Gynaecology on-call rota (restricted to Gyanecology on-call during the normal working day).
This fellowship requires close teamwork across the specialist multidisciplinary service. The successful candidate will be highly motivated, dependable and committed to endometriosis as a specialty. They will be expected to work collaboratively with medical, nursing, radiology, colorectal, urology, pain, fertility, administrative and other colleagues; to communicate openly and respectfully; to support the development of others; and to take shared responsibility for delivering and continually improving a high-quality endometriosis service.
This post exists to provide and develop a high-quality specialist endometriosis service. Its clinical, surgical, multidisciplinary and service-development focus is endometriosis rather than general gynaecology.
